[Q] Unlock Bootlader Driver help!!! - Sony Xperia S, Acro S, Ion

I followed the unlock bootloader steps, in which I have to install the fastboot and usb driver.
But when I connected my phone via fastboot mode, it only connects as fastboot for 5 seconds or so, before reverting back to normal usb connection.
I can't the drivers also, even if I try to install it as soon as I connected it.
Any ideas on how I can solve this?

download flashtool. install. go to my computer - flashtool and install the drivers from there. sometimes they're just a pain to get working

I tried to install fastboot with flashtool, but it ended up as installation failed. Maybe its due to I'm using Windows 8?

could be. there's some guide somewhere about windows 8 because loads of people have had problems with it.

[Q] Xperia Arc (Lt15i) Problem

Hi, today i installed a custom rom, this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1836993. I followed instructions described there, after installing and rebooting nothing happens except for sony logo. My pc doesn't even see the device after i plugged the usb cable. Can someone help me?
You are stuck in bootloader you either need to install kernel mentioned in thread or reflash the Rom either by using pccompanion or use flashtools and download the according ftf file found in general stickies.
You could ask in that thread where you got Rom from.

Update Service with an unlocked bootloader is a bad idea.
Try this.
http://developer.sonymobile.com/services/flash-tool/how-to-download-and-install-the-flash-tool/
Official flashtool to go back to stock rom.
And as the guy above told you, SEUS on unlocked bootloader is a bad thing.
Hi. I have same problem.
Just flashed FreeXperia rom and gapps. Phone wont to power up. Just geting blue led or green.
Any clue? My bootloader is locked.
tried to use official xperia update tool but it wont to recognise my phone (maybe i doing sth wrong :/)

No it's not. If you have root you can push cwm via adb.

Dude,
As the others have said you cannot install FXP CM10 on a device with a locked bootloader.
As such your device will not boot, your options are to either.
1) use flashtool to flash a stock rom - instuctions how to use flashtool can be found on the forum
2) use Sony update service to flash back to stock - This is the easier option, but all your data will be wiped.
Once the device will boot up, if you still want to use FXP roms then unlock the bootloader first, or try a rom for locked bootloaders.
Either of the above should work for you.

yea phone works again fine on the stock
At least you show others, do not flash custom ROM if it's only for unlocked bootloader.
If you have locked bootloader you can't flash custom kernel and you will stuck in bootloop.

There is no way to install CM, with a locked BL!
You are phone is probably soft bricked by now...

Boot loop error, really stuck here.

Ok so my phone was going really slow on the PAC rom v22 so i decided i wanted to give the Trinity kernel a try, placed it on sd booted into cwm and installed it, from there on i am completely stuck in bootloop.
So i have trawled forums and alike to come up with an answer to this, most saying just enter recovery mode. My phone wont let me!
I am quite a noob when it comes to this although i have successfully done the process of putting custom roms on my device 3 times before but have never not been able to get into recovery mode. The only thing i can still do is enter CWM, i have tried installing Trinity a few times - same outcome, i tried installing the pac rom again, this bought back an error
Code:
Assert failed: getprop(" ro.product.device") == "LT26i || get prop("ro.build.Product") == "LT26i" getprop ("ro.product.device") == "nozomi" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "nozomi" E: error in /sdcard/*filename* (Status 7) installation aborted
i have tried the sony restore but not being able to enter recovery has kinda hindered this a useless tool for me right now.
I'd very much appreciate you time and help. Thanks

Unfortunately, i have tried this (with a successful install) :-/
I should perhaps mention however when stuck in the bootloop towards the end the pc picks the phone up but in device manager its recognized as an Xperia S but its still unknown device with yellow triangle after installing the flash drivers.

Download, instal, in driver folder instal "gordon gate" (drivers) just to be sure, download STOCK rom and put it in "firmware folder" and other then that, follow on screen steps on flashtool, tutorial is on that site too.
you even have stock rom on that site
http://androxyde.github.io/LT26i_6.2.B.0.211_Customized_MEA.ftf.torrent
So you can get in to CWM. Did u try Factory reset & installing a Pre rooted / stock which is in zip format ?
i suggest you do a clean install of stock. Then repeat what ever you did before, and this time little more carefully.

Unfortunately i don't have a Stock zip on the phone only the PAC rom which fails to install with the error in top post, i have indeed tried a factory reset and tried reinstalling the PAC rom, with the same error.
I have a Stock rom on my pc, i just cant send it to the phone to install it :-/
There is some command to send frimware to the phone via adb.
But i never used it, try to search adb commands on google.

Unfortunately when i do this, windows doesnt detect a device in the usb at all...
I'm really at a loose end now, i have set-up the ADB stuff, and well it doesn't even detect my phone... probably part to do with apparently having no drivers...
I have installed all the Xperia S drivers available with flash tool and also from the sony site, they install (with flash tool method) but i still get my Xperia device in device manager with the yellow triangle. It appears under other devices and actualy says its an Xperia S but there are no drivers there for it, been trying to do this all day now

Ok, so i'm getting somewhere, miraculously the drivers seem to have installed so i can now access ADB... where to go from here.
Currently i have nozomi_PAC_JB_4.2.2-v23.0.0-v2_Themed.zip downloaded and LT26i_6.2.B.0.200_WORLD.ftf (which apparently is the stock rom)

In flashtool select the flashmode option, choose the firmware> plug in phone to pc in flashmode, flashtool should do the rest, phone should boot up properly after successful flashing.
Just an update, i have now tried to sideload the PAC rom and LT26i_DooMLoRD_leak-JB-197, both return the original error i showed in my first post.
And i still cant get into the flashmode (hold back button) so flash tool seems to be out of the question right now :-/
Thanks for all your suggestions guys, i have finally gotten back into the phone, i was able to install the DoomKernal Which then allowed me to reinstall PAC and now i'm all back up and running again

Can you please describe the problem in detail? If you're having driver problems, then go to the drivers directory in Flashtool's folder and open the driver installation exe file and install the drivers for xperia s.

Is your boot loader unlocked? If yes, then you should be able to connect your phone in fastboot and flash a custom kernel so that you can access cwm and flash a rom from your internal storage.
If your boot loader isn't unlocked, then download Sony's official software called Sony Update Service and do a re-install of the phone's software. Installing SUS should take care of all the driver problems too.

Zenfone 2 CM13 (i need help please)

So, I tried to install CM13 on my zenfone 2 using a tethered custom recovery and now when I apply the update and restart, I am redirected to the bootloader menu. (cm13 and gapps install but when i restart i go back to reboot i go to bootloader)
If possible help me make it stay on cm13 or marshmallow
i have zenfone 2 1080p
I'm not 100 percent sure, but I believe you need installed TWRP. Tethered wont do. I could be wrong tho.

Is your bootloader unlocked?
I have the same problem, I followed a guide I found here on xda to unlock the bootloader of the ze550ml mm beta, problem is that, after using that guide and supposedly unlocking the bootloader, using the twrp i found in that guide i tried to flash the latest cm13 build for my device but it always goes to fastboot, also the only recovery that works is the twrp I found in that guide. Please help me fix this.

Do you have the advantage drivers and fastboot installed on your pc? Did you go into developer mode in your phone and turn on USB debugging? Lastly, did you authorize the pc to debug your phone? (the authorization screen that pops up the first time you send an add command to your phone)... It sounds like one of these issues are your problem
