What is this icon next to the clock? I upgraded to JB, and I'm not sure what it is. Any info would be appreciated.

Think he meant the big white icon. The one with the N is the Nfc icon you can shut it off in the settings and it goes away. The leaf howevor is the power saver icon. Turn that off, and you're golden.

Does anyone know of a mod or app for facebook that doesn't have the 3 dot button menu at the bottom? Or a way to turn it off? And also to get rid of it on this xda app?

Some Rom devs put it in their tweaks. I'm on Viper and its a tweak option to adjust Capacitive brightness or turn it off.

U cant do it without rooting ur phone

Either disable them or colour them. I inserted a clear red plastic so I get red capacitive buttons which are not too bright to leak into the screen. It looks good too.
