[Q] ICS HW Problem

I recently install this ROM Sandvold http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1355660
I note this in the firt post
What's not working:
Video recording is a bit choppy
Full hwa
Usb tethering

But I encounter the following problems
- No scan QR Code -I think it's about the HWA ?
- Google Music App bug when I want to play a track online.

You expect support for BETA ROM?

How about a no support for beta roms rule enforcement?

Well it is a beta ROM so these sorts of issues are to be expected. Anything requiring the GPU would (I think) requires HWA so I think the QR scanner would need HWA and as such doesn't work.

2 Questions

So I'm on of the users that has the problem with the camera app. Gallery shows up, but there's no camera. And I found d a guide somewhere that said install the camera apk and it should be fine. Every time I install it, it says failed to install.

I am sure someone would be willing to help but it makes it easier to trouble shoot if your OP contains some better info. What android version, rooted, rom, kernel, or whatever else

Shadowgun Dead zone beta now on a100!!

I dont know if it runs on ICS, it should as public beta now open to SDK 3.0 users.
I am playing on cm10. Looks amazing, gameplay smooth.

Confirmed works great! Do you used the new jellybean kernel that over clocks the GPU? Much smoother U.I. wise and when cranking up the graphics. Love the fact that you don't need high speed internet to play this.

Enable onscreen Softkeys in cm10?

My back-button seems to be broken. Is there any way to enable the OSD softkeys in fxp 223/224 cm10?
I know the build.prop hack from Samsung where I can just add qemu.hw.softkeys=0, is it the same with all cm builds?

I'm not sure about how to do what your asking, however one option I know and use for any ROM is just install button savior it provides on screen keys with a few good options. Works great for me!

By the way, implementing the build.prop changes really enables the onscreen softkeys

Well what ROM are you on? Because I believe slim bean and pacman have them in the settings

He's probably using CM10 with FXP Kernel, but i think in stock CM10, there was an toggle for it.

Its also in stock ROM implemented. Its an Android thing, not CM exclusive.

[SOLUTION] No 480p in YouTube app [CM11]

So I installed cm11 a while ago and started YouTube . on stock you have a 480p option but wasn't here.
So i browsed. And browsed.
And got to know 480p and 1080p are 4.4.2 exclusives.
So I thought of editing the build.prop android version (note I was running android 4.4.4)

All I had to do is change the line (previously said 4.4.4) to 4.4.2, and reboot. It will say that you are running 4.4.2 in the settings but you will still be running 4.4.4.

Tried this, didn't work...
I'm on CM11 too but the build.prop trick did not enable 480p for me... I'm using the latest Youtube version, which one did you try this on?

This was on the non material design one. I dont know if it still works. I am on CM12 now.

It doesn't work for me. I hope there is other method for me to get 480p
I also did try using App Setting module but still no luck.
