Hey guys,
I was curious if someone could recommend a good pdf reader for this tablet. Because of nice resolution on the screen it is hard to read some of the PDFs I have because the font is too small. I know that I can pinch to zoom but I have to then "swim" around the page or if there is a setting to change the resolution in some of the applications. Currently I have been using Mantano and it is alright but has lately been getting glitchy when I start changing the font sizes. Thanks in advance for any information.

This one is actually a lot better than the other ones I have tried. Thanks for the quick response I need to do a lot of reading.

Hey guys quick question regarding apex launcher. I like setting my grid sizes usually between 5x5-10x10 but it seems with apex launcher anything over 7x7 causes the icons to get cut in half, regardless of having the icon labels hidden or not. quite disappointing.. is there any fixes to this? i searched here and on google, and didn't find anything other than other people bringing up the issue.
I purchased the Pro version hoping it would maybe fix the issue, but it still happens.
updated OP with my question re-worded in hopes of any info.. Thanks again for any help guys!
You need to change the LCD density so the icons are smaller.

that will change a whole hell of alot more than just my icon size though. i dont want everything else to change size. I just want a dang 10x10 grid, why is it EVERY other launcher doesnt have this issue? there has to be something else.
Yeah, i never mess with density, but it would work.
Another idea is to use desktop visualizer since it scales. All the really artsy home screen people use it. Pain to have to set up each icon, but it should work.

Nice, that app is kinda like a more useful simpletext type app.
does no one else have this issue? I cant be the only one who uses apex who likes to have a 10x10 grid.
So this widget has been quite hard to handle. First i wanted the screen captures that won't show up. I finally figure out a way for that so i don't have anymore of those black background pics. But now some captures are ugly or wrong, and I'd like to change the pic, update or refresh it. Anyone know how?
Would be great if someone knows how to rearrange the bookmarks also.

Hi
How did you get the screen captures to show up instead of black backgrounds?
Grts,
While waiting on hold for Google support a few weeks back, I decided to slap together a wallpaper for my Nexus 7 (and its coming replacement)... and I rather liked what I came up with, so I figured I'd share it (them) here. The size is ever so slightly off, but it's close enough that the scaling isn't noticeable.
Lossless PNG versions can be nabbed below (sorry they're not hotlinks; I'm too new to the forum):

If you dig it, feel free to use and share. Hope y'all enjoy!
Love it, thank you

I like the pic but can't really figure out how to use it well.
If I go to gallery and choose set as wallpaper it gives me a crazy sliding box system that can never cover the whole pic. Is that what u guys are using?
Edit:it looks pretty small in gallery btw.maybe 1/4 screen
Great one.
Thanks.

You can resize the crazy sliding box. Just grab one of the blue dots on the side and drag outwards to make it bigger.

This is driving me slowly insane.
I cant do it. The box wont get big enough to cover the entire picture so I end up with a stretched image.
This has been the only thing so far on android that seems ridiculously complex. Why cant I just choose the picture I want?

It's really not that complex. The OP stated the size is slightly off, so it will looked a little stretched.

You can use mulitipicture live wallpaper or wallpaper wizardrii to set the wallpaper without cropping it. If you use mulitipicture live, you open the app by long pressing the screen, choosing live wallpaper, and then choosing multi picture live wallpaper.
You can then set a still wallpaper for each home screen or for all home screens, have it scrolling or not scrolling, have it stay put or rotate with the homescreen, etc...

I just resized to 1600x1280 and when you long press to apply WP from gallery (or Quickpic), the box covers the whole picture. Resized here.

So is 1600x1280 the correct size scrolling wallpapers need to be n order to fit 100% properly? I've been trying to figure this out for the longest lol.

I'm about to dive into making some original creations. The first question is what are the proper dimensions for a wallpaper to fit one screen (portrait mode). Yes, I have googled it but I can't seem to find a straightforward answer funnily enough.
The second question is more generic but if I'm resizing a photo for these purposes is it better to crop to the pepper aspect ratio and then resize or vice versa? Thanks a lot.

That site will list the stats you're looking for. I would also take the reverse engineering approach. Look at the details of one of the stock walls that are on the N7 already.

Hello all, I've noticed there's not too many wallpapers out there for our tablets, I've searched google a few times but I really don't see much I really like. Either their way too big or way too small, or they just don't suite my taste.
Well, if anyone would like to share any good wallpapers in general, but I do really like dark/blue wallpapers to be specific.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, what you can do is go to google and type what you want then go to More then Search Tools then type in your tablets screen size(find it when setting wallpaper, you have to click the ruler thing) type that in then go to color and choose the color you want. then look for one you like and download it.
try minimal wallpapers. use that for my tablet. also facets is a good choice too
