This is samsung bootloader bug

Then you will booted into recovery.

Not all n7100 has this problem, you try to flash this bootloader:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=32588568&postcount=14
This error has reported in many forums but no ultimate solution yet:
Checkout some tips this might help
Turn off you phone and take your battery out
Now your mobile phone is off
Turn it on again by pressing power and volume button (up or down doesn’t matter) but same time.
After Logo “Android out of box will appear”
Press Menu button and wait a recovering button should appear
Recover your phone it might help?
Best of luck:good:

Have you an idea please?
Uploaded with ImageShack.us
I think i have made this clear at other thread
Though writing here for someone else need
While rebooting to recovery release power button once splash screen appear, then it will boot to recovery.
This is bootloader bug, and not all roms are affected.

same problem
just for the sake of enforcement, i have the same problem. although i don't know if it was there from the start, but i noticed it after flashing rooted stock via ODIN.
then, i flashed CWM, and it was still there. I flashed a stock rom and checked if i can get into stock recovery, no luck!
then i flashed CWM from another source, and it was still there.
so i flashed CF-root to go back to stock recovery, and it is still there.
finally, i flashed CWM, and rebooted into recovery via ROM Manager, and flashed a custom ROM which includes a custom recovery, and it is still there!!!
So, i wake up every morning, and it is still there.....

Go get the drivers on the samsung website.
I used the ToolKit for the S3 to install the drivers and you don't need to have your phone plugged in to install them. Here is the link to the ToolKit http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1746665.
Are you able to get your phone in download mode at all?
Belive me, I tried all kinds of methods to install the drivers and it's failing to install them. The drivers just don't want to be installed so I can't transfer the rom into the sd card and since I deleted the mediaprovider.apk, I can't download stuff either.

Yes. But their are several options to re root and install cwm. I personally use twrp but the toolbox is the easiest method in my opinion to do it all for you.
Toolkit- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1746665
TWRP- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1793224
Edit: if you have a backup saved onto your SD card then you should be able to restore it once you get cwm on. Your backups from cwm will not work in twrp however unless you move them to the correct folder. Sdcard\twrp\BACKUPS.

Today I finally rooted my Tablet 7 with some help from gr8nole here on XDA. Needless to say I was very happy and started downloading any and all apps that required root I was interested in. Unfortunately about an hour into my adventure I downloaded an app called LCD Density. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. It soft bricked my device after changing the density from 240 to 160. I am now just trying to get back to square one again and have no idea what to do. I wiped the cache partition and re flashed root. Reboot same thing again. The Samsung screen is vertical not horizontal and doing the infamous glow from blue to white and back to blue and nothing more continuously. I am in CWM now and not really sure what step to take next as I don't want to risk a hard brick. I went to Rom Manager in CWM and no files were there when I went to use the backup feature What should I do?

I used the CWM Recovery vol up power and home keys but it does not do anything. I am rooted already as well. Could that be the issue? Im using the TAR file too. When you flash twrp or cwm in odin, you must uncheck autoreboot. Btw hold down power vol up and home button, when samsung logo appears, release the power button while still pessing down vol up and home

Why didnt you just change the density back? Open build.prop, or push a stock version of it via adb or (idk if it is possible) via fastboot.
Then yoir problem should be solved. Those tweaks have got nothing to do with cache, or data, or so
Thats also why you need root and also the reason, why it is not so easy, to root some devices
But try brain.exe and everything should work, as it should

We are not specific and are not spoon feeding you because this not done that way. You HAVE to spend time and learn what is what. The answers you need and the help you need are already here. If you're expecting download links and screenshots you shouldn't be modifying your phone. The whole point of this community is to learn and share the knowledge - not spoon feed.
Go to the TWRP thread, read up and download the tar that you need to flash through odin. Look for the MJ5 bootloader (hint: look up Wanam's ROM thread, that's one of the many places). After you got these two, boot to TWRP and flash the ROM.
Finally, as long as your phone gets into download mode, it's not bricked. And you got to do something incredibly foolish to make it not boot into bootloader. That said, it would be prudent to learn and act rather than blindly execute what you read - I said the same thing in not so many words in my reply to you in the DN3 ROM thread.

Just untick "Auto-Reboot within odin & flash , then reboot manually power+volume up.
Another thing: I can't use odin because I don't have a computer. There's an app called flashify that installs recoveries but it still only works with 2.6.3.0. Even installing the latest version from goo manager doesn't work.

I think I will need to install TWRP with Odin -- goomanager isn't working for me. It SAYS that it has installed TWRP, but every time I try to get into recovery all I get is the standard Android recovery.
My question, please is this: where did you get the tar file for TWRP, and which slot did you use with Odin? Was it the PDA?
Thanks very much

I got mine by going to the twrp site, but I admit it wasn't exactly easy to find. You can know you're getting the right version of TWRP if you download CPU-Z from the play store and check the third page that says system; the model name gives you the store citric name you'll look for when you go to the TWRP site, but the link I gave you is for the lt03wifiue .
Have fun!

If your Odin says PDA then you need to get the latest version. There's only one spot you can use in the newest one...

The easiest way to install twrp is to use goomanager. Hit menu and hit install open recovery

Goo manager doesn't work on our tablet for install of twrp.
Use the link four posts up for the twrp. Also, just check your SOC with CPUz, to make sure it's actually the right version of twrp for your tablet. But Odin is the way to go.

Power off your device, then press Volume up + power button. Release the power button when you see the "galaxy note 10.1 2014" screen

I'm hoping maybe someone could enlighten me how to get TWRP to boot into TWRP. I had CleanRom installed and everything was working with TWRP. Stupid me I thought I could help battery life by doing a Cache and Dalvik Cache wipe. Bonked my P600! I had to ODIN a new firmware, rooted and tried to get TWRP installed. I've tried the ODIN Tar method 2.6.3.1, Tried with a TWRP zip file and Goo Manager to install TWRP and none worked. When I go to recovery I keep getting the Android System Recovery. My head is banging on my desk at the moment. Would anyone have an idea how to get TWRP working on my rooted and now stock P600? I so want to get Clean 2.0 back. :crying::crying::crying::crying:
A big Thanks in advance for the help.
Solved: I'm not sure why but I tried ODIN again and TWRP install. WEIRD
