I just wanted to find out if I am using the latest software released by HTC for One XL.
As per the screenshot my software version is 3.17 but I have read at a few places that the latest version is 3.18
Also I think this might be important to state here that I am supercid

Yeah, upgrading the hboot to 1.33 will fix your issue.

read! only for cid 621
The hboot 1.33 will be released by HTC in the OTA, no one else should have access to it. Expected to arrive on this Monday or Friday(based on previous releases)

still stuck
i still have the same problem is there any good news about my problem
Try wiping everything then mounting USB in recovery and copy over an asop ROM that is 4.1.2 fixed my problem with sensors not working. Doesn't work for everyone but worth a try...

Hi guys just wondering if anyone on HTC__001 has recieved the update,as don't want to have too return to stock and lose everything before it actually arrives.
My friend said yes, but i'm not sure.
However, if you're root, i raccomend to you to stay root

My cid is htc__001 and today I checked manually and found out the update was there

Thanks guys might give it a week or so and update. Good to see it in the UK at least.

HTC has already released it for some countries. It is 35 MB and brings some enhancements. that is why am asking..

Mostly it's bug fixes for the stuff HTC messed up in 3.18
And India also hasn't got 3.18. So we're fine for now

I just installed the update and I got the same problems again with WiFi like I had on 3.18 version. This is driving me nuts. Everything worked fine, and with new update they screwed things again! Don't download new update, wait for response by other users!

Hi, as per news the HTC HOX update of Android 4.2 is on Air for devices with CID HTC_044. But i have device with CID HTC_038 , hence no update for my device(India).
Does anybody know when is the release of Android 4.2+Sense 5.0 for these specific devices.
Please update the news if any body is having any information regrading this.

Open this link download the file flash via cwm. I flashed this file from cwm I have the same cid as yours and I am from india.
This is a odexed rom pure stock rom. You will get updates too from htc.

I haven't received any update notification or anything like that I am using the viperonem8 ROM, and from Australia I looked through the Australian thread and nothing was there about this being a problem. I went through setting and cannot find a "check for update" anywhere I'm so confused about this someone please help. Thank you!

If your on viper rom you will only receive updates from them, including in the update in your settings? If your on viper rom 1.6 your already on 1.54.401?

The last couple of digits only refer to the region it's made for, they're exactly the same update. Your already on the latest firmware with viper 1.6 mate

I just purchased a HTC ONE M8 and I have software number - 1.54.771.9
is this the latest?
All the sense based roms on here are using the 1.54.401 base. Yours is obviously newer but i don't know if there is any major difference between the 2?

That is the H3G software build, so is a carrier version of the 1.54.401.x build
