[Q] STK.apk - Wildfire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I have installed the AOKP rom for HTC Wildfire(Buzz) and everything is working great, I love the rom and want to keep using it .....the only problem I have is that it doesn't have STK.apk (SimToolkit app) which I really need.
Any help/solution to this will be appreciated.
P.S- I have tried other STK.apk files from ICS roms but they either mess up my android system or Phone.apk stops working.

Which aokp?
And ask the owner to send you an apk? ------- for Simtoolkit -------

[Q] How to install ICS Messaging on any rom?

Hello, I am running Juggernaut v5.0 (2.3.6) and I was wondering if there is a way to replace the stock messaging app with the stock ICS messaging app. I didn't know if there was a way to do this or not, but I was curious.
any help would be greatly appreciated
no. it's not compatible with GB
Thank you, I was wondering if it was or not haha. Since there are MIUI builds of GB do you think a MIUI based messaging app could be used in place of the stock app?

should work. just push it with root explorer to system/app and restart.
make sure to back up the date before you do this

(request) messaging with advanced settings

Hi, I'm using androidme lite aosp ROM and would like to use the messaging .apk like the one found in codenames ROM (I mainly want the pop up notification option). I used root explorer and tried overwriting the .apk but I kept getting FC. Can someone maybe make a flash able .zip that would work?
Thanks in advance.
Bump but for stock?

Ya, for stock. Its basically a stripped stock ROM.
I made this one for bamf ROM, it should work with any jb ROM but make a backup first just in case

[Q] 2.3.4 Gingerbread browser.apk on Stock 6.3.2 ROM?

Hi,
Has anybody ever tried to install 2.3.4 Gingerbread browser.apk on Stock 6.3.2 ROM?
I tried a couple of browser.apk that I found with no luck (copying them in system/app, changing to the correct permissions and rebooting)
(I'm running [Rom] Stock 6.3.2 [Mods] [04.22.13] [Primary/Alt] by tobiascuypers)
Thanks
Long time ago, but I think the GO stuff is what you want.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
I don't want to change the Launcher but the actual browser by using browser.apk from a vanilla 2.3.4 gingerbread ROM
