That is very very strange. Have you tried to reflash the stock hboot and return to s-on?
Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio Z715e using Tapatalk 2

Thanks for reply.
Yes I did. Stock hboot, S-ON, RUU, Stock froyo (no root) is back.
And nothing. Everything the same. Screen content is floating from bottom to top.
Really strange.
So, menu bar is floating from bottom to top, pushing all icons/options and it is nearly impossible to hit the right icon/option. Also when there is a keyboard, it moves up and down but it always reacts when pressed on position where it should normaly stand.
Thanks again and best regards,
Ivan

Honestly, I have no idea what may have caused this have you dropped it recently?

Yes. My wife is using it and she dropped it few times.
Do you think it can be repared for reasonable cost?
Thank you for your help!

I know from the UK you can replace the digitizer and LCD for under £20 from eBay, then you would need to do a full teardown of the phone to fit the parts on. But to be honest, I'm not sure the screen is the issue. It seems more like the main board is having an issue. Have you tried re-running a ruu over the phone at all?
Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio Z715e using Tapatalk 2

Thanks for information!
How do you mean re-run? I put original hboot 1.01.00001 or something and run a RUU which removed CWM, partitioning and put original Froyo with no root.
Should I run RUU again?
Thanks for help and best regards,
Ivan

If you have already ran it and it had no effect then don't bother. If it didn't help the first time it probably won't work now. As I said I suspect it's a hardware failure. Are you competent at dismantling devices? It may just be that dropping it has knocked a cable loose on the inside. Might be worth a look if your feeling up to it?
Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio Z715e using Tapatalk 2

Ok. Thanks.
I opened it now and I don't see any visible damage. What should I look for? All parts and cables look nice.

Ivan

Just try to disconnect the cables for the screen/digitizer and then re-attach them. If that doesn't help then its a hardware failure.
Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio Z715e using Tapatalk 2

Nothing.
I did as you said. Disconnected all the cables (found tutorial on youtube) and when put together again the same s**t.
My wildfire is now with God. Maybe I'll take it for repair, if it's not too expencive. Otherwise, it had a wonderful life, full of different ROMs, certainly not boring.
Thanks once again!
Best,
Ivan

Wow that's strange never happened to me but could it be screen problem or hardware?

anyone know how to fix this..???
i have tried many times flash new rom.. still same..

It's a hardware issue. Many DHDs have it.
There is nothing you can do with Roms or other software updates

You just haven't noticed it before. There is no possibility to push the screen to the side with rooting...
Or you dropped it after rooting.

I think you only noticed it after you rooted, it seems to be a common hardware issue with DHD's. If the screen is badly skew maybe HTC will try to repair or give you a replacement, just remember to un-root before you take it in.
Same problem flashing the same ROM
I have the same issue
I flashed yesterday night the last version of RCMix3D_Runny_v1.3,and when it boot, the touch screen was no responsive....I've tried everything (downgrade, factory reset, change Rom,restore a previous Rom with CWM,ENG S-ON,flash another Recovery.img),and my touch screen is dead...
Its not a proximity sensor issue, because the screen stays on 1 minute, then,it turns off.The phone receives te phone calls, notification, the sound is working, but no way to unlock the screen...
I thing is a hardware issue, but very, very strange the casuality: other phone with touchscreen issue after flashing the same ROM...
If anybody can help me,please,do it...I am desperate....
By the way,how can I flash a RUU Rom ? Is there any tutorial, where can I find a RUU Rom ?
Thanks to everyone who can help !!!!!!!!!
Sorry for my bad english
Flashing has nothing to do with it. It's been there the whole time. You are just now noticing it. I had my screen fixed under defect warranty. It's now perfect. Here is a link from XDA: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=958069 And here is one from another forum: http://androidforums.com/desire-hd-support-troubleshooting/279651-screen-misaligned.html

Have you at least tried wiping everything and reflashing a rom so you know it's not a hardware problem?

Yea I did all of that....I just don't see how it could possibly be a hardware problem because I didn't ever drop it.

Doesn't have to be dropped. Could be a variety of reason eg: bad wiring or faulty manufacturing. If it is on every rom you tried then its pretty obvious its not software

I see...thanks for your help, I actually really appreciate any responses I get. I'm trying to see if I can get my sisters G2 and she'll get one from a friend. Does anybody know how to fix a broken mic?
Look up a teardown. See if it is replaceable or if it is part of the main board

[Q] Is S-ON required to return wildfire to stock froyo ROM after S-OFF and Root

Hi,
Is S-ON required to revert wildfire to stock froyo ROM after S-OFF and Root
Wildfire A3333
RemPuzzleROM
S-OFF
No if you use an ruu I think it will update your hboot and turn s back on, however you can get a safe ruu which doesn't contain hboot.img so you'll keep s off.

OP - No, You can flash an RUU even in S-OFF state. It will still work fine. (Obviously, remember to get back to S-ON in case you are returning the phone to claim warranty)
Scratch, You seem a bit busy today mate.

I've been staying away kind of, still checking everyday to see if any new developments pop up and trying to help a few, I've even gone back to a froyo Rom as I'm sick of breaking cm7.
Patiently waiting till I can afford my upgrade.

I know that feeling. Happened quite a few times. (And I am still not switched to my SGS2 100%. Paranoid of using it here in "Super Dense Crush Load" Public Transport)
I was thinking of the experia arc, on offer at phones 4 u for £230 with my upgrade I should get it for 200. But I'm not sure think I might go in the shop and play with some first.
If money was no object I think I'd buy them all mate just because I could!

I've been looking around for a few pointers on how to get stock-froyo back on my wildfire currently on cm7.
Nice to see that just flashing the right RUU will do the trick, but how do I find the right RUU? Have been looking at shipped-roms.com but I can't really figure it out.
Also, are there any tricks to flashing a RUU (read: how do I do that?)
- Sincerely

T Mobile has the Atrix for something like 15 pounds a month, problem is, there's more ICS development on the Wildfire than on the Atrix. Oh, and pi have to pay 50 upfront. But I think that covers the HD dock that comes with it.

Thats good to hear am not the only one lol yer it is very random, never happens when switching on the screen only when switching off.
Would a software bug make this happen? because if the button was at fault surely it would also happen when switching on screen.

I doubt it has anything to do with the power button. It is software for sure. Or maybe it could even be a 3rd party app that csuses it.
Will report back if it happens again and find something new about it
