I know that when you watch a video on Instagram that your phone saves a cache, just like your computer. Someone I follow on IG had up cool videos but then deleted them. I looked through the cache opened on the phone under Storage>sdcard0>Android>data>com.instagram.android>cache>video and have found some videos, but not the ones I'm looking for and the videos seemed to have cut off after a certain date (maybe the phone clears out certain ones, even though I haven't cleaned out my cache since getting my phone?). Is there a hidden folder that I can access all the video caches? Or are they just gone? Thank you.

I output my phone to a external display alot. Since the phone forces videos played through HDMI to full screen, is there a way to disable this? I'd like to be able to window the video and while another app is open?
If you could point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.

Individual apps override the settings. Check the app making the sound.

Damn, that is strange. Have you tried a factory data reset or Odining the stock image in to see if that resets it?
Anyone notice that when you upload a photo to Facebook, it sends a very low resolution image? Is there a way to fix this? I didn't have this problem with my HTC One S. Looked everywhere for a setting to change this but couldn't find anything.

Does anyone one know how to remove a place from Google Now under My Stuff? My phone is giving me weather info about Hong Kong. I've tried deleting location history and deleting locations from Google Maps on the computer. But it won't go away. Really annoying.

S9 is old I know but it's what I have & I don't let my kids or anyone mess with it & it's rarely been dropped so it's still in good shape. Battery is getting weak & it's not ready for 5g but I need to help it creep along a little longer & so I did a backup without pics & copied pics over to my laptop's external hard drive & then did the factory reset using the buttons. I then did the Restore. Only thing that didn't come through in Smart Switch restore was my old text messages.
There is a file called "Message" that is rather large like 5 Gig. I'm assuming this is the file of text threads that SS should have transferred over to my phone? Assuming such, I did go ahead & transfer that big file back onto my phone in a general location like Data or something just so I'd have it handy on the phone if I needed it at the phone store.
Is there ANYONE or anywhere that can tell me where Samsung is storing the text threads in S9's? Or perhaps even better, how to get Smart Switch to recognize this file & let me restore it using Smart Switch app on my laptop? It's Windows PC. Carrier's tech guy tried to walk me through doing that today but in the app it does not recognize there is any text messaging restorable files.
I'm desperately needing help. So many old sentimental messages. My parents, my kids, & now grandkids. Friends who've passed away...just like anyone I'm sure. I'd be very grateful for any help.
