Group Messaging - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4

Hey guys, I'm a regular over in the Tmobile Note 2 forums and we have a question for all you S4 guys here. We are trying to get a ported version of the S4 MMS app to work on the note 2. Specifically the Group Messaging aspect of it. Does group messaging work for S4 users? Does it work correctly? Can you always participate of iPhone created group messages and they stay threaded? What about sending to groups larger than say 5 people? What about 10 people? Can you get higher than 10?
Any help would be great. The more the better as we want to find a way to make this work.
Thanks guys!

I group message with my friends who have iphones with no problems. Works as supposed to. Have never group texted with more than 5 people so I can't say what the max is

Good to know. If you, or anyone else could test the size limit that would help as that is really where we are seeing the issues.
Thanks!

Responding to group texts

How do SG2 users answer a group text with a group text instead of just texting the person who sent the group text?
I have the nexus with the vzw texting app which has real group texting. Not sure how to do that on the gs2

Another Whatsapp question...

I had an iPhone 4 and used the number to get Whatsapp running on my rooted N7. I just traded said iPhone for a Samsung Galaxy S II LTE (unrooted) and would like to receive my Whatsapp messages on the N7 and the phone. Possible??

And again:
to use the same account on two devices doesn't seem to work
I do recall recall reading on here that someone got it working.
Doesn't matter anyway. Tablettalk is a much better solution.

I don't think there's a solution to make messages reach both devices. I tried and it is random. I used another number for my N7 instead.

huh? I don't even think the note 2 is even capable of wireless charge...I believe it has to have specific hardware to achieve this not a software mod.
There is a way to modify your battery cover using an older phone's charging hardware( can't remember the name) here on xda -tv.
from a galaxy far far away....

Ok, thanks again for directing me to the proper thread. Now I want the G2, the Galaxy Mega, or the Note III. Why the G2? It's the 4G advanced S4. The Mega.... well obviously I'm the type that can't afford to have a tablet and a phone simply because bills and no wifi atm.... The Note III I don't know I like it due to I loved the 2. What can be a deal breaker if there is no 2.5/6ghz (Clearwire LTE) connectivity, or no 800 lte. The Mega has mid-range specs compared to all phones listed above, its a bigger less powerful S4, not a phone I want to be with two years from now so I'll be fine with either the G2 or the Note III (depending on the LTE bands it supports)

i read that the G2 doesn't do SVDO or (the real deal killer) SVLTE, wassupwitdat?
CDMA1X, EV-DO, GSM, W-CDMA, and LTE all share the same transmit path, thus no SVDO nor SVLTE. Meh didnt care for it too much, it was nice when i had LTE when I was on the phone

Many different sites have it pegged for early Sept release. Some say from early to mid Sept.

Looking at this picture hopes this isnt the final build. It makes me think of the iPhone 5.

I heard about the note 3. but haven't heard anything as of yet to make me want to run out and get it right when it drops on the market. unless I missed some of the specs?
Face it naddit. People make threads so people can look into them what's the point of us regular people having the option todo so we take it. This stickie ain't going to get no love just like all the others. People make the threads for a reason sure some are pointless yea. Some are interesting until people like you close the thread down. Its like the 4th thread I've seen closed by you in less than a week. Idc but would you like to get your threads locked?

Yep I agree. You are better off making a thread title:
"All Note 3 discussion here."
Or a mod can go ahead and setup the note 3 forum general q&a and everything go there

Galaxy Note 3: Wolfson DAC & Apt-x support?
Hi
Sorry I did not post in the right section but could anyone could confirm if the Galaxy Note 3 (N9000) is equipped with the Wolfson DAC and supports Apt-X; I could not find the info out of all the news about its release.
Thanks a lot
Beng
Wow.. Sprint Note 3 possibly only to have 1900LTE...Not very future proof being stuck on 1900..May as well trade my One back to a Note 2 instead.

This^ Sprint made a horrible decision if 900P turns out to be their Note 3 and I can't see it being for any other company.

The same sources that used to give us leaks were able to sneak one nugget out.
The info from Samsung that was provided (a while ago) said this will have Tri-band support and VoLTE.

Samsung galaxy Note 3 or Galaxy s5

I'm been offered one of these devices to test and I've got to choose just one which is a doggonee shame, so here is my question to you guys.
Which one of these devices would you recommend for testing?
I'm like a kid in a candy store looking forward to testing either way.

Well considering the Note 3 has been out a while and plenty tested, then I suggest the S5.
Unless you mean the note 4
