This Is a boot animation QMG files. This requires root and root explorer. copy the folder to "system-media" change permissions to RW-R-R for both
Be sure to copy stock files and keep them some place safe encase you need to go back to them. I am not sure if this is in the corrent place but its my first upload I made this because i looked all over for it and could not find it so if its out there I havent seen it. The photos are not mine i just compiled them in to QMG for the boot animation. Hope this helps for anyone who is looking for this that will fit on the GSIII

Hey all,
I've created a boot animation with the Nexus "X" logo and the stock ICS animation in the background if anyone's interested. Here's a video demo of it. Sorry for the video being in portrait. I took it landscape, but YouTube decided to rotate it.
How to install
This is not a flashable zip, and you need to be rooted to install.
Get a file explorer and navigate to /system/media
Rename "botanimation.zip" to "1bootanimation.zip1"
Place the attached bootanimation.zip into /system/media
Reboot. Enjoy.
Download the file from here.
To revert back to whatever boot animation you had before this one, just delete the new bootanimation.zip and restore the name of the renamed one.
I just made my ps3 boot animation which is in 480x800 resolution also i made a sound for it.
Here's the boot animation. [ First of all , your device must be ROOTED in order to make your bootanimation installed properly and can be use. ]

How to install boot animation ?
Just put the file bootanimation.zip in system/media by using any root explorer for android but i prefer using Solid Explorer which is more easier and a time saver.

How to make the sound works ?
Put the audio file PowerOn.ogg which is provided in bootanimation.zip folder , in system/media/audio/ui and replace the current PowerOn file with the provided one. Use Solid Explorer.
Easy way to install bootanimation ?
Just install this apk on your device and select the bootanimation.zip files.

In case if this apk doesn't work , just use the first method that use the Solid Explorer apk.
If you find the animation runs slow and i have no idea about it, its my first work and also this is my first post. Thanks and hope you enjoy this [PS] Sorry for my bad English
Hello there,
I'm kinda new to XDA forums.. Not sure if this thread is on right place? Or if it contain relevant information that is worth enough to populate subjects in here. After all admins can just delete this then I will know.
It's easy to change the default bootup animation. This procedure will not change the "Sony" splash screen though, just the "Xperia" inital screen and the following animation:
1- Go to /system/media and download "bootanimation.zip"
2- Extract files on computer. You will see some folders. Inside folders search for the JPEG images of the animation and the "Xperia" splash screen. Tweak images there and put any JPEG you want 9must be same size. You can delete images as to make a shorter animation. I didn't tested placing more frames though, so not sure if it will work.
3- Now comes the trick: Zip all the files again to the new bootanimation.zip but using compression method "store". It will not work using standard or other compression methods.
4- Upload new bootanimation.zip back to /system/media
That's. Enjoy your new boot animation
this thread must be in general
its more easy to create...see here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1678540

I've searched and searched but could never find a Matirx code rain boot animation made for the Samsung Galaxy S3 for a STOCK ROM. Bootanimation.zip files don't work on a stock ROM for the S3 so I took some of the better ones I found in zip files and converted them to the .qmg files that the S3 wants. I've included the boot animation as well as the shutdown animation and the Matrix sounds for them also.
You do need to have ROOT to install these and ROOT Explorer is recommended to copy them into the right folders and change permissions. If you aren't rooted I highly recommend 'towelroot' and it doesn't get any easier than that app for rooting.
Download my zip file then:
- rename your existing files (the ones that have the same names as I have included in the Zip file) in the folders listed below to something else you will remember like bootsamsung.bak and do this for each file you will be replacing with ones I have included in the Zip file.
- I suggest a complete backup with TWRP in case anything goes wrong. If you don't have TWRP get it - best thing going and I also use an app called 'Quickboot' which lets you get into TWRP recovery without having to do the 3 finger grip on the buttons you normally need to do to get into recovery.
- copy bootsamsung.qmg and bootsamsungloop.qmg to your system/media folder with Root Explorer
- use Root explorer change permissions on them to rw-rr
- copy the *.ogg (sound) files to system/media/audio/ui folder
- copy shutdown.qmg to system/media/video/shutdown folder
- use Root explorer change permissions on them to rw-rr
Reboot and enjoy a reminder of one of the best movies ever made !
I wish I could recall where all the parts for the above animations came from but I am not sure. Some probably came from xda forum so if any of these were from something you created I'll gladly give credit. I did have to resize exactly 100 pictures to make them the correct size for the Galaxy S3. However the shutdown animation came from somewhere else and did not need to be resized or rebuilt. I used Samsung's Theme Designer to convert the files to the needed qmg format for Galaxy's. There is about 3 pages of instructions on how to do that Here
The .ogg files were from my own collection of Matrix sound files and ringtones and used another program to convert them from MP3's to OGG files.
BTW if I am wrong about not being able to use bootanimation.zip files on a Galaxy S3 please let me know. I tried every way to Sunday to try using them but had no luck. I don't mind flashing a good ROM but I don't trust flashing a bootanimation file and I'm not even sure you can do that on a stock S3 ROM. If anyone has more info on that please post here. I've still got a lot to learn
I've successfully created a QMG version of the Droid Razr M's boot animation using Samsung Theme Designer. It runs smoothly and doesn't lag. I'd like to thank XDA member @Nonta72 for creating a guide on how to convert zip files to qmg for noobs like me
***Requirements***
Backup of your stock boot animations just in case the new one doesn't work
Rooted device
File Explorer (Make sure that you've given it proper root permissions)
***Instructions***
Step 1: Download the attached zip below and extract it to your SD card (or your device storage).
Step 2: Go to your file explorer app and navigate to /system/media, scroll down and you should see three QMG files: bootsamsung.qmg, bootsamsungloop.qmg, and shutdown.qmg. Delete them after you've backed them up.
Step 3: In your file explorer app copy both of the extracted bootsamsung.qmg and bootsamsungloop.qmg files from your SD card/device storage and then navigate to /system/media. Paste both of these files in this location. Warning! Your phone will boot loop if you don't use the bootsamsungloop.qmg file!
Step 4: While in the file explorer go back to your SD card/device storage and copy the PowerOn.ogg sound file. Put this in /system/media/audio/ui.
Step 5: Reboot your phone. The Droid Razr boot animation should play as normal. If it doesn't check to make sure that you've followed the above instructions and try again, and post here if you need help with anything.

Here's the stock animation. Which version of the Galaxy Core Prime do you have? Did you delete the old qmg files before you put the new qmg files in /system/media?
