BeautySense 2ND EDITION
so I ported this rom to our galaxy gio from the ace.
its actually cm7 themed, but ported framework, apps, fonts, and many tweaks preinstalled, and has HTC apps

yes but it is not a real Sense, only a "like" sense
And this is only a port from ace ...
Sense lockscreen is only a app
and launcher is also not real sense launcher xD

Nice. HTC theme. I might sow it to a freind of mine that hase 1.

I installed it yesterday and it looks quite snappy and bug free. Very inclined to adopting it. One thing I would like to change would be the notification bar. In my gio it got a profound grey color and it visually stands out big time. Could it be possible to apply a semi-transparent notification bar patch to this rom???

Video recording works, but you have to install a camera app from play store to make it working, download camera ICS its the best

I have just flashed this ROM and I like it so far. I know it's essentially a themed CM7 but I like the theme and that's what counts.
Features I like over stock CM7:
* Tabbed notifications and switches;
* Unread SMS and missed calls notifications on the lockscreen, visible when you touch the 'Unlock' icon;
* The messaging app. I strongly prefer a Bubbles-style conversation and the stock messaging app has some nice colouring applied;
* Lockscreen with option to go direct to messaging, camera etc;
* Tabbed settings.
Features I'd like to see. Note that there is no demand implied here. These are just my general thoughts:
* An option to increase the size of the text in the Messaging app's conversation view. I thought this was a standard option in CM7 but perhaps I'm wrong and that has to be added by a modder;
* A themed keyboard, perhaps something like the LG keyboard. I have the HTC keyboard in APK format so I might try that;
* Contacts and Dialer themed differently. I don't like the stock CM7 dialer. The contacts app has a weird quirk where it's showing an image behind some of my contacts' names - a white 'X' on a light-blue background. As someone suggested elsewhere I have instead installed ExDialer and ExContacts, with a dark theme applied so that it looks similar to the theme. I am quite happy with the result.
I have noticed elsewhere in the XDA forums that the MoKee ROM is being given different version numbers. Are these only for the ROM itself perhaps?
Overall I think this is a great ROM. Thankyou for porting it!

OK - I have installed the HTC keyboard and I prefer its appearance over the stock CM7 keyboard.
I mentioned earlier (in this thread) that I have installed eXDialer and eXContacts. They're both working well but when I have an SMS open, and I touch the picture of the person who started the conversation, it loads the stock Contacts app. I understand why it would do that but I'd love to have it go instead to eXContacts.
The only problem I have seen so far is that the incoming call screen doesn't look right. The problem is that only part of the "Accept" and "Reject" icons appear on the screen. They look as though someone has cut off chunks and stuck them back on to the screen. They work OK but they just don't look right.
I notice that the first post in this thread shows what looks to be an alternate dialer. Is this available via a stock CM7 theme or is this perhaps an earlier MoKee build?

I got this rom on my gio a week ago and it was pretty good just like any other cm7 or GB based roms on gio , it will last more than a day with reguler use (sometimes phone call, lissening to some music ,browsing on xda , sending msgs )

I quite like the MIUI UI but I have one problem which bothers me so much that I don't use it. Non-standard icons appear as the apps' original icon, scaled down and pasted on a randomly-coloured square. I would prefer to have the icons appear just as they do on other ROMs, with each appearing just as the developer intended.
Does anyone know of a way of changing this? I have tried other launchers but even in those the icons are scaled down,

I did like most of the features you had included, especially the status bar and ICS theme. However I really didn't like the appearance of the Messaging app. Only a day later I can't remember the other little things I didn't like.
I make these comments not to discourage you from your work but so that you know someone has tried it and appreciates your work. Regarding the Messaging app, I prefer a bubble style conversation but I prefer a plain background and plain bubbles, like the stock Samsung Messaging app.

This rom isn't based on MIUI rather is inspired by it, It is CyanogenMod with the ability to use MIUI Frameworks and system themes! : P
All of the other MIUI components like the Keyboard and so on are what I've chosen to add to round it off as a true MIUI clone; but this rom is quite a bit faster than 'true' MIUI.
Plus it doesn't use Baidu's location service so that's whats up.
Edit: ETA 15 minutes

OK new build is posted, worth nothing that when the phone first boots up it will have the 'default' system theme, so it won't look much different than standard CM until you apply a MIUI theme to it in the theme manager

The fact that It's not MIUI but a 'variant' of CM10 that can apply MIUI Framework themes and has all the MIUI things people love without the lag, bloat, and location related scum of Baidu

INSTALLATION: clean flash. wipe caches.
clean install and let google do its thing then let rom settle. if you dont like the launcher @talkingmonkeys 4x5 launcher is located in extras. dont forget to reflash the increase audio also.

Yea its not bad.it doesn't have all the bells and whistles as other roms and all the fancy colors.but still working on it.slowly..

Your like me, I wanna debloat this as much as I can and try to get as much speed, and performance that I can.and I think with the dark theme so help little with battery. I just don't have a lot of time or the experience but I am learning (trying to learn.lol)... anyway glad someone likes this Rom.

Would it be possible to somehow take the Theme that this ROM uses and use it with a different ROM?

I've been wanting to release it but it may be tough to support a lot of roms with the developers going in different directions than me. A lot of key parts of the theme are in the xml and not just the images which make it a lot more difficult to make work with other peoples work. If mholoway would want to do it I'd be glad to point him in the direction to do so though.
