I found a pretty cool app on the market and wanted to share it in the app section with a disclaimer that it wasn't my work and that I found it to be pretty awesome. Is that frowned upon?

I've seen a favorite app thread before so I don't see a problem. Actually I appreciate it when something useful like an app I am not aware of gets pointed out.

I took the apk off of my Iconia A500 but it didn't install on my rooted Note 2. Anyway to make this happen?
