Freaking love it. Just wish it had the aosp keyboard with all the long press for numbers and characters. Everything else is super fast and smooth
Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk 2
So far I noticed a graphics glitch on the Google loading screen, and I did not have superuser privileges upon initial startup. Yes I did a full wipe and cleared both caches. I installed slimgapps 4.3, photosphere 4.3, and extras 4.3 as well.
Which superuser.zip would you suggest?
Edit: I used chainfire's supersu 1.51 and regained root.
Sync speed seems to be slower. On 4.2.2 my tablet got mail before my phone, now it's the reverse.

new to slimbean so perhaps i'm just overlooking the option but after adding a custom tile in the quick settings, i'm not seeing a place to set it up. maybe hasn't been implemented yet?
what i'm looking to do is add a tile that can keep the screen timeout off, not just the standard settings...possible at this point yet?
thanks though....looking good and will likely try this on my phone as well when i get the chance later

To enable superuser you have to go into developer options and change root access to apps and adb. That's how I got superuser to work on the ROM.

Too late for me to verify that...and I don't really want to do a clean install to check
All I can say is the new supersu 1.51 works.
Overall, for an alpha this is great. Other than the issues I noted earlier, I haven't found any problems.

What is King Kang?
King Kang is essentially a hybrid ROM - its a mixture of AOKP, CyanogenMod, and ParanoidAndroid, bringing all their customizations to one rock solid and quick ROM. These numerous features combine to create a blend of features not seen anywhere else before. Make the user interface yours with this ROM. Change the DPI the ROM runs at, tweak the interface to your hearts content, while enjoying great battery life and stability. Never before have these features combined to create a ROM as feature-packed as King Kang. Credits for the features goes directly to the teams responsible - AOKP and CM for their respective work, and ParanoidAndroid for their wonderful DPI on-the-fly modifications. Without these teams, this ROM would not be possible.
This is a merge of AOKP, CM10, and Paranoid Android done by DAGr8. Thanks to him
This is an UNOFFICIAL ROM. If kittens start to raid your house in mass, then I am not responsible (also, take a picture and post it on Reddit for archival purposes)

Flash normal jb gapps of your choice. These are recommended: http://d-h.st/1C0 4.2 gapps by KillDroidHack.
Please report any bugs to this thread, and I'll see if I can fix them, I threw this together for fun, and didn't do that much testing.
I also became really lazy and kanged Team KANG's boot animation.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Due to the request of the Paranoid Android team, I have removed ParanoidPreferences.apk.

No changelog, because I can't find one. I'll try to do nightlies. I'm syncing right now.
Also, keep in mind that I only have ~85 Mbps internet and a 3570K, so it might take a while to compile for all devices (I'm going to start supporting maguro and toroplus), but toro will always come first.

Unfortunately I only own the tf300t model and it would be beyond my skill level to setup an RIL without owning a TF300TG. it should work for your model but there would be no 3g support
CleanROM with kernel for (G) model works fine. Maybe I could just look for the proper libs/system parts, and by adding them to this Rom and flashing (G) kernel after it may work. Just asking for opinion from the dev, how do you think, will it work that way?
Thank you.
Got the answer. It is impossible.

I like PA simply for the level of customization available. I'm not one to theme etc, but the visual options become very attractive once you've experienced them (i was skeptical, and wrong). that being said, haven't taken this version for a whirl yet, just hopped on cm10.1. once all settles, i will likely come home to PA

Sent from The Beast using Tapatalk 2
This is not the question for me as I love the features like per-app DPI, per-App status bar, this PA colours for Navbar and so on - only thing I don't like is that I don't get many updates (especially in kernel as ROM doesn't seem to have many bugs)
Do we have TabletUI available on this ROM?

well the lack of updates is due to the recent project that the lead developers have taken on, (AOSPA) which is closed source. once paranoid 3.0 is open source, development will be up and running in full force. and to answer the other question, yes tablet UI is available with this ROM.

Dirty flash over CM10.1 is possible yes, if you have any problems just wipe, make sure to make a backup just in case! also, as I am not privy to the source as of now, I do not know how far along they are, so no eta from me sorry!
Also, new mirror is up, I got too much traffic on my dropbox account so I switched to google drive for now(hopefully goo.im approves my application soon!)
Is the tablet mode on this, exactly like 4.1 Jellybean or does it have any 4.2 UI elements left in?

Other Info
All in all, this ROM is Cyanogenmod 10.1 with a few graphic changes. It also includes various extra features that have been cherry picked from multiple sources. In addition this ROM is compiled without the use of cchache and only full clean builds are released. This means that it will take longer for me to compile, however it will result in a reduced chance of bugs and maybe even an increase in performance. A little warning: I do not own a d2tmo, and therefore the ROM is not always thoroughly tested. Although I highly doubt that flashing this ROM will cause any permanent damage to your phone, there is a risk involved. To be honest the worst that could possibly happen is the ROM doesn't boot due to a change that I have made. That it why I always recommend making a nandroid backup before flashing, so that in the case that the ROM does not work as expected you can easily revert your phone back to a functioning state.
More features will be added soon, and I will be trying to compile new builds at least once a week. Leave a comment and let me know what you think

Great Rom Chromium! this build is pretty awesome, feels really smooth, fonts are good, a little more debloated than the regular CM, it's pretty good I think, the comunity will love it!! Happy Flashing GUYS!!!!
OHH by the way.. OP only mentions Factory reset, but @Chromium when I test this Builds I would always do a full wipe, System, Factory, Cache and Dalvik. specially if someone is coming from a NON AOSP Rom LIke TouchWiz or any Rom below 4.2.2.
Just an idea I don't mean to be disrespecful...!

Thanks. I said to do a factory reset, and after flashing wipe the cache and dalvik. Also when flashing the rom, it will wipe the /system for you, so its not necessary to do it manually. Though theres no harm in doing that if you want to be extra thorough with your wiping

This is awesome! Will you be able to make sure the audio is fixed in 4.3 ROM? I am having problems with the ringtones and notifications on your 4.2.2 being low volume. Thanks guys!
just asking out of curiosity why do you keep dpi to 245?

I like to set mine at 240 as for me it looks better and you can use per app DPI and get some apps to display in dual panel mode and for me at least overall it looks better than at 320 with more real estate on home screen etc..

Cardinal rule never ask for ETA's from Devs as these guys/gals do this for us for free. I would rather wait and have a good build as I suspect it was pulled do to that which I appreciate the Dev doing, less issues and looking out for us..

So I see n7100 is active but no joy for t0ltetmo. Is n7100 is supposed to be the international GT-N7100, and if so can we flash it on T-Mobile variant?
I flashed Slim-n7100-4.3.build.beta.2-WEEKLY-288 and Slim_minimal_gapps.4.3.build.beta.2.x . It's been sitting on the bootanimation for ca 10 minutes now.
I am waiting on it because when I tried the first few CM10.2 builds it would hang too, but eventually finish booting.
Why would you flash another devices rom?... Your lucky it's similar enough to not brick your device. ...

4.3 issues
Not sure how to fix this but I just updated to 4.3 beta 4 weekly and seem to only having issue with the AOSP keyboard not being responsive. I tried installing a secondary keyboard and still not responsive. 4.2.2 version worked flawlessly. Any ideas what would be causing this and how I could go about fixing it? BTW i did clear cauch, factory reset, etc.

Oh well MP4s aren't compatible with 4.3 ROMs (at least all the ones I've tried). So when using other ROMs such as cm10.2, carbon, etc, the phone would reboot whenever you try browsing an album that contains an MP4 file using the gallery app. Would also reboot when trying to launch the MP4 from root explorer. This one doesn't reboot but still can't play the video. Also tried 3rd party apps to play the videos but not working.
EDIT: MX Player is the only 3rd party app I found that plays MP4s so far.

I can't seem to find it listed as an official bug, so I'll ask here.
I'm having trouble with Bluetooth. It attempts to turn on, and after a few seconds turns back off. I can't get it to turn on at all. I've fixed permissions, cleared caches and rebooted, in various orders. Any suggestions?
I wish I could submit a logcat but the app I'm using is not generating any logcat (Kernel Tuner).
Adb or terminal emulator
logcat -v long > /sdcard0/nameoflog.txt from terminal emulator. Adb a little different, plenty of how to online

It seems when I lock my phone the screen goes off then back on? So I gotta press lock button again to turn of screen. Only started happening with this I'm pretty sure ?
