Easiest/safest way is with ROM Toolbox. I used it to mod several elements of the bar. It also allows you to back up, so you should be able to put things back to stock if you feel the need.

[Theme] Darky v10.0RC3 JVK - AOSP / WidgetPicker / Battery Mod (2 versions)

I yanked out Darky v10.0RC3 framework-res.apk and made some changes that I like.
It has AOSP lock and AppWidgetPicker. And I put in my favourite battery icons.
Boot in recovery, install the zip.
As usual, don't blame me if your phone gets in bootloop - so take usual precautions.
Plus, I might not be updating this much as I'm not a real themer. I'll leave it to the real experts. This is a interim patch for those Darky v10.0RC3 users who want what I like while waiting for Darky or some other themer to create the "real stuff".
You can thank me if you like this.
Cheers! And good luck.
Added "stock" circle battery Darky + AppWidget + AOSP lock - (update-darky-aosp-v1.0CircBatt.zip) - for those who prefer original circle battery and original AOSP lock picture.
Hello fellow countryman! Nice work with the additions

I don't think it'll work. But I have a deodexed version (without AppWidgetPicker) based on $omator deodex version. I would suggest you copy $omator's de-odexed version into your SD card too in case mine fails.
For Darky users, please do not use this de-odexed version.
Edit: not sure why I cannot upload the file...

WHY not, it worked perfect. Still the Lockscreen Buttons are a little bit ugly and I changed them by myself, but except that this Theme is really nice and I love to have back the Android Lockscreen.
THANKS for that.
Thanks. Good work. Theme is nice, but i'm missing for circle green battery from Darky theme. Can I restore the circle baterry from Darky ROM...only battery?
I found a way. Thx.

I just uploaded in post #1 a virgin Darky circle battery framework with AppWidget & AOSP lockscreen.
The dust version without those lockscreen buttons would be great. I'll have a look my self if I can edit it.

Thanks! I'm using this now... I missed my AOSP lockscreen
Now if you could find a way to add an extended power menu and maybe the original colored icons for the Preferences menu it would be perfect

umm yup I already tried it and it finally worked so yeah.. I think the prob was the stock rom..

[Theme] Stock theme with circular & vertical battery indicator (KPE, KPH, NexusAce)

[Theme] Stock theme with circular & vertical battery indicator (KPE, KPH, NexusAce)
Disclaimer: DO IT ON YOUR OWN RISK, I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR BRICKING YOUR DEVICE (You know the drill, though the chance of bricking it this way is almost zero.)
It's the stock theme with only changed battery indicator.
For CodeRom.NexusAce, KPE and KPH Firmware, different files since the framework and systemui are different.
For those who are too lazy to do it themselves with UOT Kitchen
Made with UOT, so all credits go to them~
How to install:
1. Download the file attached according to your ROM.
2. Copy file to your SD card.
3. Boot into recovery
4. Select "Install update from zip"
5. Navigate to your donwloaded file and install
6. Finish installation with reboot
Note: It will overwrite your previous theme with the stock theme.
And happy Independence Day I guess
Edit: Added Gingerbread-like vertical battery indicator with percentage indication.
Don't forget to click Thanks
Will it affect the CRT-animation (i'm using it right now, and i don't wanna miss it ).
CRT-Animation will stay, at least with NexusAce.
If you have KPE or KPH it will most likely be overwritten.
It doesnt work on my SGA with KPH. I dont now why, could you help me?

I didn't flash CWM yet, so I can't test myself, but I know some who suceeded installing it via CWM beta,I guess gamma should work as well.
Just try it, worst case is an aborted installation anyway.

Hello everyone, the other day I downloaded the zip file to KPE (I installed on my ace VILLAINROM KPE) put the SD card, I installed from recovery and the status bar has completely disappeared, I had the riflashare VILLAINROM to make it work, Can anyone tell me why? Thank you.
It's possible that VillainROM uses different framework und systemUI apks, so it might not work.
Because CodeROM is based on KPH but both use different base apks.

[VISUAL MOD] 8 Battery mod´s for all SAMMY DEODEXED XWLSN ROM´s

Hi all
This is my first post, sorry about my ignorance but I tried to find a decent battery percentage over the internet without success, i found a mod but my status bar also changed, and i like the original interface.
Because of it i decided to mod by myself SystemUI.apk and i did it.
I have this rom :
NeatRom Lite 4.6.1
Probably will work only on NeatRom 4.6.1
Sorry
XDA link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1569686
About the mod it´s simple to do, just flash by CWM your favourite attached file
Search in my dropbox page
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/7a2bq3hufrnq7nl/J1vzQMByIO
I think these mod´s will work with another deodexed XWLSN variants, but i do not guarantee your old mods will remain cause i doesn´t touch anything but only the battery images.
Please do a backup first.

I would like to report a bug.
As seen on the screenshots, the percentage inside the green circle does not match the one we see when "Display battery percentage" is enabled.
Can that be fixed?

I´ve found the problem, and i will try to fix it, but i do not guarantee it will work because some xml files (into apk file) can´t be edited because resources.arsc maybe have a checksum/database or another files and i dont have any idea how i can edit that but i do not give up and i will do my best.
I´m not a developer, i just want to help people like me, because the original battery images sucks...
I prefer to edit original firmwares by myself
Update:
I put a new working two files.
One of these files can be flashed by clockworkmod

S-off suggestions???

Hey guys!!! Just wanted a little bit of input. I FINALLY S-off'ed my device and I'm wondering what cool mods/tweaks/hacks/etc that you've been running. I've already converted to developers edition and installed the h/k mod but now I'm kinda lost. Any suggestions?? Thanks in adavance!!!!
What kind of mods are you thinking about? Other than H/K, you could flash a custom kernel or Lyapotas mod pack. Lyapotas mod pack is pretty sweet, its got a lot of tweaks like long press back to kill foreground app, clear all recents, change navbar size and a bunch of other mods. I flash his mod pack on every ROM I run. What ROM are you running?

Download the regular mod pack. s.rom is a different ROM, I'm not sure if it'd work on LeeDroid because it's built specifically for the ROM "s.rom".

Haha you're good, sir. Other than kernels and that mod pack, I dont usually flash any other mods. If you download Trickster Mod ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bigeyes0x0.trickstermod&hl=en ) you can adjust your kernel settings to improve performance or battery life. Trickster Mod is a great app esp if you like tweaking things lol.
