Hello guys,
i need to flash the stock recovery, problem is my i8150 is broken, when i plug it in my computer it says Unknown device same in download mode and Odin doesnt detect it. I think that something in the USB is broken. I have the stock recovery.img, is it possible to flash it through CWM?
thanks!

Impossible, you need odin or terminal emulator to flash recovery..

No? I flashed update.zip (root) via Stock Recovery then typed some things on Terminal Emulator to flash CWM Recovery without Odin

No, but you can try Flashify app to flash it. It´s flashing and backing up kernels and recoveries. Used it to flash TWRP recovery. No Odin nor USB connectiuon needed.

The only ways to install a CWM is with ODIN, Mobile ODIN, another recovery if you want to change it to a different kind, and ADB. You cannot install a custom recovery using ROM manager.

Go to the other thread you posted and answer the questions I asked there. You didn't need to post 2 threads involving the same exact thing. It is against the rules and is flooding the forum.
I've been able to flash the zip through a custom recovery. You could try that. Just be careful!

Yes its the 7105. And we are sure that we used the correct roms and cwm files from the correct section. rom manager also says that cwm is up to date but reboot to recovery doesnt work. it just shuts itself of. even with "adb reboot recovery"
Flash cwm via odin.

Hello,
I was trying to flash a kernel but after some reboots I noticed that the phone won't boot in cwm but only in the stock recovery. I reflashed cwm through rom manager but nothing happened. I then tried to install twrp but again nothing happened. I was told that I have to delete 2 files inside system to make cwm stick but the files do not exist for a reason. Please help me guys!

I guess its for N7100 model, right? I just dont want to mess it up again.
Also in odin - no checkboxes should be ticked except "auto-reboot"?

Just click the link and download page will have file description, and I am sure you will find model number of device for which this recovery is.
For Odin
Option remains same as you flashing stock rom
You can find instructions in details on 1st post of 'all in one n7100' on my signature.

Hi,
as in the title - I tried to flash TWRP via GooManager. When I tried to get into recovery, it stacked at the samsung logo... i cant boot into recovery nor system. Download mode is the only option that works.
How to fix it?
phone: N7105
On download mode try to flash stock Samsung firmware using odin.
Damn... stock roms are uploaded mostly on hotfile.com, which is shut down...
I can't find any other mirror for Polish stock rom... Does anyone have it on the hard drive and could upload it? I would be greatfull...
Ok, I found stock rom. But now, I have bootloop... I'm downloading another stock rom and will see.
Any other ideas how to bring him life again?
