Launcher pro themes

I downloaded and bought a couple of themes but when I choose any of them launcher pro would still look the same, anyone knows why is this

Did you restart lp after?

The themes are going to be under widget settings and for each individual widget you can set the theme for it. Restart launcher pro afterwards.

And what about theme'ing everything else? I.e. calling bar, unlock screen bar- does the phone has to be rooted to do in example call/answer bar theme'ing?

Note 2 problem

For some reason when I detach my s pen, the s pen icon and page buddy aren't showing up. It's making the sound and vibration but no icon or page buddy even though it's turned on. Secondly, does anyone have blocking mode icon in your scrollable settings in your notification bar? I thought mine was there but maybe I'm mistaken.. Anyone know why my s pen/page buddy isn't showing up? For $700 I should not be having this problem.

there's a setting for that option in the settings menu did you turn it off?

Interesting... I'm running nova launcher.. I switched back to touch wiz and it worked.. Now I'm back to nova and the icon is showing up when I pull it out. So I guess it's a nova launcher problem?

As far as I can tell those are TW home screen options. I use apex and don't have them either. Blocking mode is there on mine also

What the hell? You have blocking mode at your scrollable settings at the top? I thought I did last night, then I used it for the first time and now it just see it in my normal settings..

It should be between mobile data and power saving. What ROM are you on? Are you using the 15 toggle mod?

I don't have the mobile data one either. No rom.. I'm stock with nova launcher prime. I only find mobile data and blocking mode in my full settings. I remember having mobile data on my scrollable settings on my s3 but not on here.. Wtf is going on?

I'm so pissed right now! I'm missing 2 toggle settings on my 3 day old phone. What the F!? Not only that but every time I restart my phone my keyboard goes off SwiftKey and back to Samsung keyboard

I just talked to another guy who has the att version and he does not have the mobile data or blocking mode toggle either. What's going on here? I'm trying to find out if I have a defected device or not

I do not have either of those in my pull down either. Mine totals 10.

The page buddy is touchwiz launcher specific. Your device isn't defective.

Err0xx is correct. I have Nova Prime and it is disabled as well. In addition a few widgets are removed as well. I like tue calendar app because it shows exchange tasks as well. It was removed when I used Nova. I tried to levrage Novas resize feature. Back to the drawing board.

I know that this is an old thread, but I got here searching for the same problem with the spen icon, also using Nova Launcher, and as there didn't seem to be a solution listed here, I thought I would post what ended up working for me. After a little troubleshooting with Samsung, they recommending hovering over the screen with the spen, and pressing the spen button 4 or 5 times rapidly, which I did, and now it all works perfectly. Can't comment on the toggles, but for at least the spen bit, maybe I can help someone out.

for custom launcher (apex, nova, go, and so forth) use an app from market called s-pen helper and it'll set you through for pen stuff and also for headset stuff. good luck...

Multiple notifications

Just a quick problem I've been having the last few weeks, I keep getting two notifications when I receive a sms, in the notification bar it looks like a postcard icon not the regular sms icon. Also I used to get the msg preview pop up.. Not anymore though. Currently using apex launcher pro, been over settings with a fine tooth comb and tried disabling sms alerts but that second alerted keeps coming up... Any ideas anyone?

Back up texts and try do a cache and data wipe of the app restart and see if you can set up messaging how you want them wiping data is the fix to 80% of app issues hope this is useful

That won't work, it's not an app its htc messaging, the stock sms. There's no cache to clear I don't think.

You'll probably have to be rooted and running a stock ROM, or just the LGHome. Push the files to /system/app and reboot.

It is imbedded in the Frameworks and system ui, you are not going to get it to work easily, a lot of re coding would have to be done. Many other DEVs have tried and gave up. Search LG Weather widget for CM11, there is a working one from the LGOG, only issue is it is only 4 columns wide.

Quick reply from the lock screen

Ok I was just curious if there was an app that would allow me to quick reply to sms from the lock screen, when I had an iPhone jail broke it and was able to quick reply from the lock screen without actually unlocking my phone. Anyone know of any app? Also I'm on dn3 rom

Textra, sms popup and Chomp to name a few. Lots of the sms/text apps from the play store do quick reply. It's not like the iPhone at all with needing to jailbreak just to get a nice feature like that on the lockscreen. Android does much of this without need of root or anything special.
Edit: I currently use textra but have used almost every one of them. Chomp isn't bad either.

NILS. It shows your message on the lock screen and allows you to click it and takes you straight to the message. I still use the stock messages app

Sms popup is the bomb. It allows you to answer from the lock screen. Once done, it is still locked.

I use c locker as my lock screen and sliding messenger allowed me to quick reply. it comes up in a bubble similar to that of the chat heads from Facebook messenger

This is my go to app no matter what Rom i'm using

Tried sms popup and I hated it.
