Tried to reinstall with wipe cache/ dalvik but didnt work.

I'm really missing those right now but i want to keep the stock theme for now.

Yes it is, by manually editing the needed files (SystemUI.apk and framework-res.apk).

You can use APK Manager, Google it .
There's a tut there too.
Otherwise, you can do it by replacing the files by hand on your PC, by browsing into the APK by hand (use WinRAR or 7zip).

Ive tried it a few times today but nothing worked when i overwrite the SystemUI.apk and framework-res.apk my phone doesnt boot anymore
and also the APK manager isnt working
i dont know what to do now

Hi. I just tested this mod on RC 3.1 for captivate and got to says it looks good. Sadly the phone process FCed uncontrollably and got to revert to stock. Keep the good work!

you need a rooted phone!!!
ok the process is a bit tricky!!
unzip the htc 4 zip file !!
first thing is the bootanimation
You need a root explorer=copy the bootanimation file to
/system/media!!
(if it doesnt work then again copy to) =/data/local
second thing the boot sound=take power-on.ogg and replace it in=/system/etc(make sure you delete the older one first!!!
third =here things become very easy! just install the sense launcher
forth=then install sense lock AND SENSE CLOCK!
fifth= flash beats.zip from cwm(optional)(its for beats sound!)
last=apply the wallpaper and set ringtones as quietly brilliant!!
all the files are present in the zip file!

Hi Don, first of all, thank you for this beautiful mod.
I just wanna know the reason for putting the bootanimation.zip to /data/local.
Pardon me for asking such question because i'm only aware about the /system/media method.

The reason is some asop and other.custom roms have their boot animation file.at.data local !! So those on cm or asop.will.complain.that it doesnt work thats why i have instructed to copy it to both locations !!!

You might want to post *actual* screenshots. Launcher looks nothing like that. There are also themes for the launcher like Slate, Music Lover etc.

Oh that ... That doesnt move i have another version with that but doesnt move it was unstable so i didnt gave that one ... There is almost no difference ..

i am using an unrooted SGS2.
i guess i cant use all of these unrooted. just installing the apk files whichever has it, is an option for me rite. like the sense launcher, lockscreen and sense clock?? does it require rooting too?

just a quick question: the sense 4 clock does have also the animation?
and also this kind of animation can be added to the lockscreen?

nope it doesn't have the animation for now and weather animations of lockscreen is kinda difficult but I ill see !!

Thats really too much . The bootanimations contains 2 parts but you can of course only use one of them cause they're the same but : even if you only use one part there are 204 frame to edit... holy! and then you also have to edit the size...
Let me see what i can do... But if you want one with htc i already finished it.

If the problem was the HTC logo, done: removed it in less than 5 minutes with the magic of batch scripts of Photoshop.

So I've made another version of this boot animation, resized to fit the Ace (320 x 480) and with the HTC logo removed. If anyone wants to try it out, I've attached it to this post.
Rename the file from 'AndroidEatsAppleAce.zip' to 'bootanimation.zip' then copy and replace with the original and set permissions.

[MOD] [20-Aug] [Sense 5] Arabic Fonts for Jellybean ROMs

Hello everyone,
I have been digging around on how to replace the default ugly Arabic font for Jellybean Sense ROMs and I finally managed to know how to do it. I have tried several times to edit lib files and replace fonts but nothing worked.
Finally I found that the trick to replace the font is really easy, by replacing the file in [system/fonts/DroidNaskh-Regular-SystemUI.ttf]
I have attached below a flashable ZIP. Just boot into recovery and install the ZIP file. This should work on any Sense-based ROMs.

Adding Kufi font to Sense 5 ROMs (ARHD & Maximus and pretty much everything else for HOX).

Sense ROMs only. But you can give it a try yourself and let me know the result. Backing up your data is a must before flashing the ZIP.

You can give it a try. Make a backup before flashing ZIP file.
Also, check your root/system/fonts and search for "DroidNaskh-Regular-SystemUI.ttf" and replace it with the font you want.

4eXT Recovery Theme

Hi i made a theme for 4ext recovery for the desire s and should work just fine with the desire coz both have same resolution 480x800. Its called IcySense5 coz its all sense 5 icon png files which were a balls to find and resized them all and it has ICS colors. Took me ages + bout 20 trial and errors making build prop but i got there. Hope u like it.
Credits to marc2040 and T-Macgnolia for all the help before.
Thanks chromium96 for testing it on desire.
Download the zip file to ur sdcard then boot recovery and flash it. IF u dont like it, just boot recovery, go to tools und uninstall theme. if theme does'nt load, go to tools/reload theme

Yh im gona change things later, but mine is ment to be like that coz its ics with the blue n black and with sense 5 icons. Now that iv got all the colors right, changing some png files will be easy. So il try urs later i must change that spinner to, looks out of place lol

That was the plan, i dont like aosp roms to be honest, i just made this theme coz thought people might like it with thier kitkat rom.
