"Your warranty is now void. We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at any of us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you. Collectively, and at the same time."

Boots up fine, very smooth and stable actually, only issue is no sound, focal and clock fc and RR, but for a pre beta release this thing is amazing, and our ancient device runs it like a champ...

No sound throughout.
Just finished flashing. All I have to say is that it's excellent for a pre-beta/alpha release but the lack of sound kills it for me. (AOSPA 3.90 Linaro also had this problem so I'm assuming this is caused by some code missing in the current 4.3 builds ported to hercules that accesses the speakers and headphone port)

Well, it's in the T989 forum, it says 4.0.4 in the title, and all of ptmr3's ROMs are touchwiz-based. I'm going to take a wild guess and say it's compatible with Android 4.0.4 TouchWiz-based ROMs for T989.

Noticed a credit to thomas.raines...one of the devs that made the sgs4g a useful device waaaay beyond it's normal lifespan. An excellent person to learn from.
But more on-topic, this kernel looks interesting. Love having options. What can you tell us about the differences between this and Ktoonsez' kernel? And I'm assuming SetCPU is acceptable as an alternative to voltage control...

by looking at the source it is a very cool kernel, just like the things i had in mind for my kernel =) at the moment i cant seem to fix a compiler issue but i wanted to ask if you could test something for me. with that being said it a undervolt tweak to the L2 only in the 192Mhz and 384Mhz steps from 1050 to 950, i was checking this tweak back at the n4 kernel development from code aurora so i wanted to as if you could give it a try.

Ktweaker is Ktoonsez app so likely no since I made my kernel from scratch using cm stock.
I'll look into a app to increase vibration but I don't see why you need to make vibration more than it really is

You rock man...
BTW , forgive me for asking, what do you do in real life ?? Cause you put out new versions of your 10 or so ROMs every week, making it seem as you dedicate lots of time to this projects, probably much more than any other dev here.

Nice to see another rom. But what about C-Rom Mix? Did you stop developing it? I was lucky to download v15 when it was still available. Maybe you get a lot of PM´s about C-Rom Mix. Anyway, great work mate and for the time you spent on all these roms :good: :highfive:.

Hello Everyone!
I started to compile CM10.1 from source for myself a while back for fun and just to learn. And thanks to Cl3Kener for hooking me up, I have been building with Linaro 4.8.2. This is Vanilla as in Plain unchanged CM10.1 nightly. I sync with CM and compile every few days. Decided to post and share with everyone.

Do you have a quickie primer on what Linaro is, and how is the ROM is different than official CM 10.1? I take it that the user interface is, for now, the same as the official CM release, and that linaro is more tied with performance.

Its exactly the same as CM10.1 nightly accept compiled with Linaro Toolchain. Which is supposed to improve performance.
Thanks for making these. Cl3Kener was building em for a bit, but its nice to have another person working on it as well. He can take the time off and focus on other builds. Thanks man.
Edit: wish you had 4/22 build up.
Edit: can you post 4/22 nightly tonight??? Please?

He still is but his is Awsome Audio Mod.
Planning on syncing and building when I get to work in the morning. I build the ROMs on a server at work. They would take forever and a day on this old Lenovo T61
Nice to see you working on this but I'm in love with your carbon port for now
Why does notifications go to settings instead of notifications? How can I change it? ROM is great and super fast by the way.
Edit: Never mind found the setting for it. Great work my dude...

Nice. Just a question before I flash this. Can this kernel overclock, and this version works for both BD and BL right?
So far so good. Been using it all morning with no issues. Will this have voltage control?

What does the 1.7 mean...under clocked?
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda app-developers app
I'm on stock MDB with root. Used CWM to flash. So far no issues. I don't see frequencies higher than the 1.9 for OC at this time. I also have a triangle in notification bar telling me the device has some modification and saying to reboot, coming from SEAndroid. But I doesn't bother me really. Overall still works. I suppose I could freeze the SEAndroid and the notification would go away.
good jobbb!!
would love to see 2 ghz!
