I have created the C6506 FTF file about 1 hour ago. I flashed my phone with it so I'm sure it works. I'm uploading it now but my upload speed really sucks since I have DSL. It will take me a few hours...
I also rooted the phone thanks to DoomLord's method.

Nah. It doesnt upload faster than 74.5 KB/s ... 740 mb the file, do the math...

Ya its out Update it using SEUS if you did'nt unlock ur bootloader...if unlocked u can find the roms in general section download it and flash it using flashtool....
Download SEUS(Sony Update Service) from here http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/update-service/

Since I came from Samsung phones like sl,nexus s and s2 I don't know much abt tft files...fyi I updated it through the latest SEUS...;-) and I am struggling to root it... I think .62 GB was much faster...

EDIT: googled it and the lt15I is a xperia arc not a play
use Wotan server its free for the xperia play and may have the firmware you want

Maybe installing a generic rom or from the nearby areas and then try SEUS for repair? It worked with my xperia play like a month ago, like 10 minutes later I found my stock rom but I'm from Mexico so I don't know if it works every time, if it works then you can make a backup for a later restore, worth a shot maybe?

Yes, of course.. But I am still waiting for the XSL firmware.. XS firmware has only 1.5ghz clock speed..

I haven't received firmware 6.2.B.1.96 for my Xperia SL Who have ftf file, please upload it (((((((((((((( i have waited this firmware for a long time

Hello, recently i have flashed the 6.2.B.1.96 FW, on my Acro S.
but to my amazement i found another file somewhere which is smaller than the one which i had downloaded.
I had got a 769MB file but this one was 486MB,
Could anyone please tell me whats the correct file size for the proper firmware.

Any special instruction to flash on C6502?
Do a clean install for best results, wipe cache and start fresh. If you want to do a 'dirty' install then avoid wiping apps and data. Otherwise it's smooth sailing, for any other info check the flashtool info/sticky/search. Happy flashing!

No one knows about performance yet it was only just pleased. Also no info on battery bug fix and so on. Does come with Z1 Camera. It's the Journalist build of 4.3 completely official firmware but yes it is a leak.

Performance is insane for me, it's soooo much faster than 4.2.2, I was getting sick of 4.2.2 lool.

It's the official rom, I went and flashed it with Flashtool..
my phone is the C6506 and it works.
i went into flashmode
selected the firmware on flashtool
and just flashed it
