Stryke's Darko Build FI03 [DEPRICATED]

Rom is FI03 based (thanks Crawj), Kuban kernel (thanks Rujelus) added extended power menu ( thanks Timmetal ), AOSP lockscreen (Thanks _dan) and a few others that I forgot which ones went into this rom, and which ones went in the update I'm building now..
Also I would like to thank Pinky and the Brain (the real sitek and fryingpan) for the digital clock they made me it looks sick in here guys :thumbup:
I have the rom in two parts, one is stock look with mods the other is the theme. Only thing that didn't want to work were the sounds that accompanied the theme, so they are in the rom itself (sorry, they didn't want to flash from the original zip)
If you run into problems the only thing I ask is that you let me know how it's working for you. I will try to help as best I can. I can't fix what I don't know about
The usual disclaimer : I am not responsible for anything you choose to do with your device. This rom has been tested, I ran it myself for a few weeks before g_ding convinced me to release to test , and so far the only issues are known and stated below. If for some reason you/ your device are/become volatile, late for work/school, happen to cause the third world war, etc... You knew what could have happened.

NOTE
Not sure if this is just my phone or not, but to be safe if you've run the FK09 leak I've found that I now have to flash the rom, let it boot then flash the theme. I'll update the OP as well.

Nothing specific, like I said, I ran it for a couple weeks and had no trouble. I know that everyone uses their phone differently though, so I figured get as many varied uses and opinions as possible :good:

I might try this one out.

also if you could.. wjat is the rom specifically? fi27? rooted? anything unique you modded or added? im dling now on wifi and will test regardless.. sucks being a flashaholic but the perfect tester.. work but neveruse my phone and am using it 24/7 flashing roms n tryna tweak it and on xda lol.. downside is i live in a no wimax area so cant test that

Ah, yeah. It's FI03, rooted, I made it themed after Donnie Darko, one of my favorite movies. Has extended power menu and I believe I put the day of the week mod on the clock as well. I've been working on a new FI27 build and can't remember what I put there and what I put here lol, sorry

No, for some reason after flashing back from FK09 it didn't want to flash the two zips in the same shot. I'm running on it now, but had to let it boot and then flash the theme after the rom.

Did you flash both zips separately or at the same time? The first boot does take a while, i noticed that it almost appears to hang then boots. :thumbup::beer: thanks for trying it out though

Probably. Unless, they both use the same SystemUI. You can try it, though. Just remember to backup first.

Freegs3 and Morphology use the same system ui 15 toggle mod. This will work on moar rom, the peoples rom and any rom with the modded system ui.

I flashed it on Moar but my phone was stuck on the bootanimation. I'm assuming they use a different ui since Moar has a lot more options than freegs3

I flashed this over MOAR MB1 and I got a bootloop.
I would really love to test this one out.

This is not my creation or work up. Just sharing this with the permission of FaithCry.

Many of you know about this mod already many may not. I love it!!! I've tried it on about 5 different AOSP based roms from Liquid to CM and RootBox so all the bases pretty much. It basically replaces the lock with an icon of your choice into framework-red.apk/res/drawable-xhdpi with out all the hassle .

Install an app called zipthemer from the play store
HOW DO I INSTALL THIS???
- First, USE ZIPTHEMER
- download the file to /sdcard/Zipthemer
- go open Zipthemer
- BEFORE ADDING THEMES UPDATE EDIFY
-> hit menu
-> update edify
-> browse...
-> browse to your rom's zip and click on it
-> it will return to the previous menu and then hit configure
-> EDIFY IS NOW CONFIGURED
- then it +Theme and navigate to the folder with the ring
- then change the name of the output if you like
- then click "Build It" and then make a back up.
- reboot into recovery and flash
- reboot
- ?????
- PROFIT!​
Make sure you do not have a theme installed (put it to system) and do not have "Dark UI" enabled
Should see your new LockRing mod in place now. If not then make sure the above stuff are not there. I have not run into an issue yet changed about 4 icons.

If anyone has any contributions to make please post them and we will try and get them and others added, this is just a nice way to give the phone a complete theme to your liking ANDROID BABY. The icon is 216x216 for our device XHDPI

So no one has any questions or comments or what their lock screen looks like now? That's great that no one is having any issues but prefer feedback lol, and ideas on some customs one to see if I can create something.

I appreciated it too when I found it. I want ideas to play with and try and get better with photo editing stuff to make custom ones. People either don't come to themes for aosp stuff or don't want to bother. Oh well lol.

You know what i've noticed?? Is when you change the theme in the theme chooser the lockring and the glowdots comes back to stock idk why, its weird im a check the original thread and see if they have a solution for it, does it happen to you?

Changing the theme will change those depeneding on the theme, themes contain themed apk such as phone.apk and framework-res.apk where your custom icons will be over ridden.

i don't have this phone anymore but i had some requests to bring some themes back to the s4 for 4.3 so i decided i would but obviously i can't test my work like i would like to so bear with me please for this theme i haven't even tested to see if all themed correctly. So if something doesn't theme correctly then please post a screenshot and i will fix promptly. The keyboard might not be readable due to black on black issues...if that's the case i will fix this afternoon sometime. This rom will work with insanity rom and wicked for 4.3...as for other roms i am not sure so please post which roms it does and doesn't work with. Also as always flash on a clean install of the rom with no other mods or themes flashed prior and wipe both caches before flashing the theme so that the wallpaper will change!!
If you have andy problems and didn't read this then don't blame me or the theme blame yourself!! I hope everyone enjoys!

Had to get the note 3 of course...I had to have the xtra screen size. I have a theme I just made for the s4 but I don't know if I'll be making anymore because it's proven to be difficult to get the screenshots that I need to post my theme. I've had the other theme I made for like a week now waiting to release it til I get the right screenshots!
But did you flash? If so did everything theme ok?

I was sick yesterday, just try to install it and give me an error, downloading again to try...

I believe it's something with my updater script...let me fix it right quick. I decided to just release my DEVIANT INFERNO theme rather then the one that you were testing for me...i love the fire and i worked all night on it and i personally think it's crazy sick! I think that everyone will enjoy it ...it's uploading right now and op is ready all I have to do is plug in the link. I will fix this link also. Should be ready in like 15 min

If you could do me a favor and try flashing it because I have so many threads goin that I can't remember if this link needed to be fixed or not? I am gonna have to give up theming the s4 because it's just too hard not having the device and I don't want to put out half ass themes that are just vrthemed like some people do which is just a xml nightmare! But if you could do me that favor that'd be awesome
