OK! I am mentioning things that needs to be rectified and some updates that I would like to see. I am using XPERIA PRO MK16i.
Bug report.
1. If you disable the screen lock from the toggle menu in the notifications then they can't be enabled through the toggle menu. I had to reset the lock from the settings menu. I don't have set any security code or pattern. Just the normal slide lock.
2. The brightness toggle also doesn't seem to work with the automatic settings. The light sensor doesn't work at all.
Feature request;
1. Want an updated dialer with smart search feature just like in atomic Gb 7. (don't want to install a new dialer as it would take more space unnecessarily). You can provide it as an addon.
2. Would like to use Battery status toggle in the notifications.
3. The last one, is it possible to have beats audio in this Rom?
That's it. I sure would like to see some reply from your side(developer) about these things. Otherwise, it's perfect. And I plan to keep this Rom for several more months/ years atleast.
Also JB Multitasking switcher, I sent vokal a pm of a guide of how to do it for GB...

i really like this thing
I would really like to see an update for this ROM specially when everyone else are providing updates. Honami theme is the new rage. Apps have been updated to include advanced features. This ROM is right there, but without any further roadmap of bug fixes and new features. It won't last forever.
Atleast, release a change log of expected features!

Now, that's look good.
1. Also, don't forget to provide a fix for automatic brightness sensor(not working).
2. The adreno booster did have an impact on performance. Would removing them, would have a negative impact on performance?
3. I actually loved the ram management of this ROM. Seems so good. Just needs little tweaks could make it prefect. Would removing aggressive ram management result in loss of performance?
I just want to point out that no mater what changes you make. Just make sure not to loose the fluid speed and performance of this ROM.
4. I hope this time dialer would also include smart search.
5. Just the last thing. Is it possible to have the lockscreen like the one in latest sony mobiles(slide/swipe anywhere to unlock) instead of the static swipe to unlock at the bottom.
Thanks for your continued support.
Waiting for your next update eagerly.

Holy **** you are good!
Ok I was always told no question is a dumb question so here goes. From what I found on the internet the main differences between the HD and the Z are the keyboard and landscape support. I never had landscape support on the z rom other than the normal few apps.
I guess I'm just wondering if there are more differences and which ROM is better for our MT4G.

EDIT1: About GPL
As you can see @andyharney has checked sources and reopened all closed threads.
Kernel sources were available on GitHub FOR A MONTHS.
And YES, kernel wasn't modified since CM9 RC2. It's the same old kernel.
Here comes the link: https://github.com/MaclawStudios/android_kernel_maclawstudios
You can also apply 2.6.35.7 to 2.6.35.14 patch if you want: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=779403&d=1321023939
Also, I noticed that some of you are doing everything to destroy our work, and that's why we aren't publishing device profile sources. By the way we don't have to do this. We've developed device profile from scratch on closed license and we just won't publish it, just like Samsung. You can still use our old device profile or Jellaxy one.
EDIT2: About Deep Sleep in Beta 3
I noticed some people experiencing issue with deep sleep after installing the update. If you are affected by bug, please turn off Google location services. We’ll try to fix it in next release.
EDIT3: About something called "Seeder"
Please, don't use famous app/hack called "Seeder". We did a quick research and /dev/random isn't used in android frameworks anywhere. Seeder will improve performance ONLY in some custom apps or cryptography functions, and that's why... we've integrated seeder tweaks in beta3. Installing "Seeder" would only decrease your phone's performance because it will work in background and waste your RAM.
EDIT4: Bugtracker
Please, use bugtracker if you want to report a bug:

By the way, at the moment this AOSP it's better than erikas's one
it works great for me so far
deepsleep is working, yt hq is smooth
everything is butter smooth
notification toggles are not part of aosp i guess (better make use of widgets then)
no random reboots
does it support a2sd ext or i have to take my chances
good work!

A mini-bug I've found:
When you try to enter the "Select time zone" menu from "Date & Time", nothing happens - you get back to Settings menu
Also, I don't think this is a bug, but there are not status bar toggles Please implement this, even if maybe it's not AOSP - think that if Samsung would release ICS for Gio, there would be status bar toggles, as in Gingerbread stock rom.
bad work!
- random reoboots/hot reboots, nothing stable for me ...
- you modded the rom, it isn´t a clean aosp!
* You added Superuser
* You added Reboot Option in Power Menu
* You changed Bootanimation (Normal AOSP uses one in framework-res.apk)
* You added GApps ...
Normal AOSP Size is around 100 mb, so why urs is around 120 mb?
sry but AOSP means for me, that nothing will be customized, pls marcin, i know you are a gr8 developer but provide flashable packages for extra stuff! and not customize it in rom directly
It's great as it is! What difference is if you install GApps later or if it comes preinstalled? Same goes for SU!

Due to the nature of the test builds, I will attempt to keep these mods up to date, but that relies on how quickly I apply the SystemUI mods (which should be fairly quickly as I've written a script to do it for me) and also how quickly demkantor updates the Aroma package with the new mods. Which may take longer at the moment because he firstly needs to wait for me due to the aforementioned reason and also (I think) he's still experimenting a bit and wildly trying to keep up with all the ideas I've been throwing at him. CENTRE STATUSBAR CLOCK | CHOOSE YOUR COLOUR
With the enormous help of rodman01 I have modded the SystemUI.apk of the latest Andromadus CM10.1 build (18) to enable centre statusbar clock with a variety of colour options outlined by the Holo design standard. So far I have done all the colours shown on that page, plus white, so 11 colours in total. Requests for new colours are welcome.
Credits should ultimately go to rodman01 who pretty much did this for me, I did do some research beforehand though and attempted to figure it out myself but I'm too much of a n00b at modding at the moment to have completed it alone.

as promised.... just a little late!
The attached .zips are for those who only want to change the color and placement of their clock, these are 5 of the 11 options available in the aroma installer.
i understand that many wont want to download the aroma package as it has gotten quite large so these are for those people
I do still recommend using the aroma package as it is filled with nice options and using aroma is always fun!
If there are people who want some other small zips made let us know, but for now everything stay in aroma!
Happy Flashing!

Post edited.... additions comming
Since nobody else has posted anything, I thought I'd give some (positive!) feedback:
I had been using mimicry since 1.5 came out in September, but in a (last ditch?) effort to breathe a little more life into my phone I flashed Flinny's CM10.1 build 21 on my phone yesterday with the Aroma installer you guys have put together.
Overall, it's been great! It's (of course) very straightforward to use. I had one little hiccup on my first install where I asked for my clock to be centered and dark blue - however it showed up light red - but it was so easy to go back and change it!
Since then I've easily changed adblocking programs and I think I've pretty much tried all of the boot animations - again, the Aroma installer makes it effortless.
I know you guys are looking for ideas for what to add to the installer - the only thing I can think of would maybe be inverted gapps, but I don't know how feasible that is...
Nice works guys!
Thanks for the feedback! Its near impossible to test everything so we really appreciate it when someone can't point to a flaw, must have the wrong file connected to that blue and I'll try and fix promptly
We talked about adding the inverted gapps but we fear the size of this package may grow so large people won't want to download it, also inverted gapps don't update from the market so they will always be a step or so behind, and being the type of screen we have we don't get better battery life from them but just the beauty of them (and some look great!)
Of course if enough want it well gladly add!
Thanks again and
Happy flashing!

thanks for reply! i'm using build 19, if i would flash via aroma only androicharger there's no problem, isn't it?
Each build seems to have a different servicesjar so it probably wouldn't work, if you don't want to chanage to 21 I can make you a quick flashable for 19, but 21 is running great!

I'm trying the .20 aroma installer. Very great job!
I've installed v6supercharger, cpuspy, kernel tuner and other apps.
is there any reason for such a worse battery consuption with this MOD rather than without it?

Did you install the AndromadusMod kernel? Some users are reporting bad performance with it. There's nothing else that should be negatively affecting performance.
Hey thanks for feedback!
No there shouldn't be anything there to give you any worse battery life, if anything I get slightly better. But of course the more apps you have running in the background the more CPU consumption you may have. Personally I use CPU spy and watchdog (as well as other apps) temporarily for testing purpose and then I freeze them with titanium. Not that they cause any serious drain but I just like to keep my phone to a minimum.

Thank you, i'll give them a try.
Now i have a request. Is there the possibility to have a color switcher for the entire theme and not for the clock only?
That would be a question for HTCDreamOn as I don't have the patients for theming. We have discussed maybe doing some icon packs but full themes for testbuilds are unlikely.
But if I'm not mistaken you can use metamorph to apply themes to cm roms

Theming the whole colour scheme would be very difficult without the fact that these are test builds. I am looking into battery icon stuff and maybe date if I work it out though!

Trying this on my AT&T Galaxy S3 believe it or not, as I just did the changeover mod found in another thread to enable HSPA+ on these phones. It uses a T Mobile ROM, so I tried this one to get up to 4.1.1 and lo and behold, it seems to work fine. So far so good, thanks. Do you know if wifi calling should be working in this rom?

This rom has no know bugs and has all motions, trust me I like the motions reason I bought the S3 instead of N4. Only difference between this and stock is added features and improved sound. Speed and battery have improved but I will be looking to improve that soon as well.

Thanks. It is still a work in progress though, as I haven't optimized it that much yet. Also working on the 1% battery for both internal and dock battery which I should have done pretty soon.

Still no love for the TF300TG in here....sad sad sad...
I would need help with someone making a kernel that supports the TG on 4.2. When that happens, I can see if I can support it, but I would need help with testing since I don't own one. (they don't even sell any of the 3g/4g models of any transformer in Canada lol)

Thanks, I'll keep you 2 in mind if I can ever get to that point (sorry but I can't guarantee that will happen though)
How was the download URL for the rom? It's an up and coming new service and it has a lot of potential.

Can I request a couple of changes please.:
I use my tablet for work and having Barney the dinosaur in the task bar is embarrassing, can you either provide an option to toggle it or explain how to remove it totally.
In the 4.2 Launcher the Return/Home/Running buttons are in the middle of the tablet in landscape which makes them hard to reach with thumbs. Can you left align them please.
Can you remove the SD card inserted and docking connected notifications which make no sense at all to me.
Oh, what exactly are 1% battery mods?
Thanks

So you don't like Grimlock eh? Sounds like you were not a product of the 80's LOL.
Anyway, attached is a TWRP flashable zip to get rid of the Grimlock icons, but the main rom will still include them.
View attachment Dinoremoval.zip
As for the 4.2 interface. That is the way Google intended them to be and I'm not sure there is a simple way to align them to the left. Not sure why Google thought this would be a good idea. I just stick with the 4.1 launcher.
SD and dock notifications are a work in progress. It is something I will be getting rid of as soon as I can. I hate them too.
As for the 1% battery mods, what I mean is that the battery icons change every 1% as opposed to stock Android, which only changes every 15% or so (don't know the exact number and don't feel like looking it up haha) so you will have a more accurate read of your battery % meters without having to open up the notification screen.
Very nice ROM, used it for a few when I messed up another ROM. I would still being using it but I too really don't like the dino on the lock or brightness controls.
I will be watching this ROM to see how it plays out in the future.

I have switched to 4.1 which has the added bonus of ditching the oversized Google bar from the top of the screen.
That makes sense.
Thanks very much.

Update - Version 1.2
May 21 2013
- removed the docking notification (thanks elesbb)
- Changed to a stock kernel out of the box (Hundsbuah's flashes nicely over it)
- added init.d scripts for better I/O etc.
- cleaned up the rom a bit
- patched services.jar for better multitasking
Please note - to any TF300TG users out there, within the next few days I should be releasing a rom specifically designed for you guys and I plan on making the two roms have a similar feature set. I'm just waiting for some feedback from a couple testers to see if my kernel tweaks make everything work and hopefully it will be up soon.
hardslog said:
Welcome to the thread my new ROM, entitled GRIMLOCK (Of course named after the BEST TRANSFORMER EVAR!!!!!!!)
The rom is based off of the newest TF300T release from Asus (10.6.1.15.3)
Please note. you MUST be on a 4.2 compatible version of TWRP to flash this ROM. My suggestion is the newest 2.5.0.0 as it has NOT been tested on other versions. It runs on the 4.2 bootloader. If you have a version of TWRP that runs on the 4.1 bootloader you will likely end up with an expensive paperweight. There is plenty of information about upgrading to the newest bootloader and ROMS by Asus. Alas if you have not read about it, please look over this fantastic thread by joelalmeidaptg http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2187982 about upgrading to the new bootloader and roms.
