A few days ago my camera stopped working, and this is accompanied by severe battery drain. I have tried factory resets and flashing different roms but this doesn't solve the problem. I use Cyanogenmod 10. If I restart the phone then I can get the camera to work momentarily on the camera app but it will never work correctly in snapchat, instead flashing green and grey and causing the app to crash. I suspect the battery drain may be a related issue as they happened around the same time and if the phone is constantly trying to restart the camera I can imagine that draining battery.
Any help?

I'm experiencing some heavy problems with my new hox. The phone keeps crashing very often. It crashs nearly randomly if it is connected to the cell internet and after a restart it keeps crashing while connecting to it. Also it happens often that it crashes with e.g. 70 % battery and restarts with 3 % then. After that it keeps crashing while loading the firmware like the battery went low.
The hox has cwm 5.8 with htc dev unlocked bootloader. I've tried three different roms (two jelly beans pure aosp, one ics with sense which is actually on it) and I've had these problems on all three. Also i tried to load the battery the whole night and wiped battery stats after that but it crashed again after 2 hours of low using.
Are there some advanced users who can help me to fix those problems?
Thanks in advance
Does nobody have a solution or a tipp ? :crying:
Hi there,
I've got a little problem with my phone recently. It keeps freezing/shutting down every time the battery life hits about 30%. The button light starts to flicker, music begins to stutter and then - a few seconds later - my device turns of or just freezes leaving the screen turned on. When I reboot my phone the battery life drops to 0% or remains at about 30%, that differs from time to time.
I tried everything, installing 4.4.4 and 5.0.2 CM, with and without apps installed, with and without gapps. All constellations result in the same behaviour. I just can't figure out what the problem is. I pulled two logcats (4.4.4 and 5.0.3) and attached them to this post. I begin to believe that it is a hardware related (battery) problem, but perhaps somebody can find something in the logcats, that I've overseen.
Thank you very much in advance!
I'm using rooted Nokia XL and had installed InitailL-Rom and was facing the WiFi and WiFi hotspot problem. After I have fixed the hotspot issue on my Nokia XL by flashing stock rom using Nokia Care Suite, everything is working well only except the battery consumption has been awful. And this problem started all of sudden out of nowhere. Before fixing the WiFi issues my battery was working well and right after I fixed it this problem started. I'm not saying that there's some problem with the WiFi-fix. I actually dont understand what the problem is and just asking if somebody could help me either understand it and/or help to solve it, just in case. So here is some brief description of how I'm looking at this problem.
Now, I dont know what could have caused this, but "Cell Standby" contributes about 50% or more of the battery consumption. I re-flashed the rom a several times just to make sure the flash was proper and not dirty.
I looked it up on google and found out that its kind of a problem for many and also that its about how the phone maintains the network and tried the first-hand solutions like keeping my data service off and etc etc.
But even though still the battery would last only for 6 hrs with no usage, 2.5 hrs when playing videos, which I guess are really awful stats. My battery's health is good and I've even tried a ton of recalibration apps and methods for like over the last whole month but nothing seems to work out. My phone dies unexpectedly at around 20-40% of the battery remaining. When I try to turn it back on, it doesnt turn on unless plugged into charging. Immediately after plugging into charging and switching it on; the battery bar is half filled or sometimes even more than that. Any ideas and/or help would be great.
Hey Guys,
for about a week now I am experiencing a huge battery drain which seems to be caused by Bluetooth (bluedroid_timer).
I got my OP3 since release and never turned off Bluetooth, was activated all day long without any issue and no battery drain. Then suddenly last week I noticed that my battery life went down way faster than before (it was almost 2 days before, then suddenly only about 20hrs if at all).
I checked recently installed apps but none caused that drain. Checking gsam + wakelock detector both say bluedroid_timer keeps the phone awake and is draining battery. As soon as I turn off bluetooth the battery life returns to normal, so for now I just keep it off which is of course not a real solution as I need bluetooth while driving or at home for music...
Was reading through a lot of threads and it seems to be a well known issue, but couldnt find a solution yet.
What I tried so far:
- uninstall all recent apps
- delete system + dalvic cache in recovery
- delete bluetooth data / removed all existing bluetooth connections
- some other stuff that didnt work...
Anyone knows a fix for this? I would love to prevent doing a fresh flash (or factory reset) and starting from scratch...
Thanks a lot!!
I have pretty bad battery performance since a few weeks/month. My Battery drains sometimes real quick but sometimes it's normal. I tried factory resetting and tried deinstalling apps like Facebook and messenger. I disabled sync and GPS (wifi and Bluetooth scanning disabled), but nothing works. I'm currently on OB13 but same happened on stable builds. And I tried different kernels.

I have the same issue here.
Tried many solutions none worked sadly.
The battery optimization keeps on going off on my one plus 3. Then i have to pick each app again to put on battery optimization. Then it goes off again. Thats causing my battery problems
