Photosphere cm10.1?

There isnt any option in the cm10.1 camera for photosphere can someone pls guide me? or provide da appropriate cwm zip file

Its not currently available buddy... Though thr is that camera app which was ported for any 4.2 from nexus 4 which might have some broken features.Bet u need to wait some more time.

Im not shure if this will work on your phone but im using this on SuperNexus rom(4.1.2) and it works ok(sometimes got fc)
Edit: i forgot to say that after installing this zip u will have two galleries and two cameras old gallery and camera and new 4.2 gallery and camera

is it just my phone or everyone's phone's focus is not as good as before ?

I uninstalled the original Gallery.apk with root uninstaller. Then in flashed camera from this "4.2.1 apps v8" over Aroma. Everything works fine...

I agree. The focus looks horrible compared to stock.

It's from the Galaxy s4. And yes, it seems to work fine. Even the resolutions are correct. Maybe, just maybe, it's a little bit slower than the old camera.

But what's the need to install? Nexus 4 already has the Stock version.

Yes, but the Google edition phones have a new version, that was first seen on a "leaked" 4.3 rom.

99% sure it won't, this is the interface, without any backend stuff.

Works fine for me just installing over the top of the stock camera as it would a Play Store update. Bear in mind I am 100% stock at the moment

Why in this pack are "gsmcore.apk"? Why change this app? This is malwere?

seems to work with no problems for me... photo editing and all... still testing some of the other effects and features, but pretty solid so far
EDIT: so after running some test seems like everything is good, until you reboot the device... after rebooting and going to photo edit a picture, the gallery will fc when trying to use the very last editing feature with -/+ icon... after reinstalling the apk it will work again

GmsCore.apk is Google Play Services. i dont think it is needed

Are you using the Google camera or the cm camera? If you are using the cm camera you will probably need to manually replace the apk (or uninstall the old cm camera before you can install the new one.)

Well I have a CM camera since I use CM10.1. The flashable zip force close on me while editing the picture but the camera works perfectly. Ok I'll try to uninstall the CM Gallery and install yours.

Note from Android Authority website: "Note that installing the APK will add a new Gallery app and a new Camera app to your system. Some XDA users had to remove or rename the old camera app for the new one to install properly"

it seems like it doesnt give me an option to save the photo on my external sd...

This doesn't have an HDR mode. You may want to keep the stock Samsung camera if you want to shoot in HDR.

I leave the stock Camera there too. Didn't remove, so i have 2 camera apps and 2 Galaries. Works fine

Only if on a cm10.1 variant do you need to add a .old to the end of galaxy4.apk and gallery2.apk in /system/app. Use a root browser to do so

I installed this on my HTC Desire 600 and the program works, but I cannot find the photosphere function. How do you activate that, or will that not work on my phone?

Note flash it at your own risk. Camera and Keyboard is broken on Nexus 4. No camera app will work.. Better have an alternative keyboard apk ready before installing this.
The cool thing is playstore after flashing this will show downloadable apps by sony like xperia keyboard which can be installed.

Why won't it have an camera is it because of the libraries in the zip file?
I can't test it now cause its around 2 Am in the night and my device only has like 300mb left so i dont have acces to my pc.

Yes the library are included but Nexus 5 works great with this with no problems. Nexus 4 have some problem if anybody can get a solution without removing library files it will be great.. And library files are needed for some apps to work. The added advantage is playstore shows Sony apps like Xperia keyboard, background focus and many more.

How to get only this one?

No one has found a camera app that will work, still? I remember the camera not working when we got a community-built android update on my old xperia x10 because the binaries weren't made public, but there was usually one or two apps that would work. It just took a little searching by trial and error.

[APP] HTC M8/9 Sense 7 Gallery and Camera

Came to a Note 4 from HTC M8 and one thing I missed was the gallery. It is in my opinion, the nicest gallery out there.

I didn't test the camera, only the gallery. The note TW camera is better IMO..Gallery just sucks

When you click the link make sure to open it with Google drive. If you have root explorer you then extract it though there and then install, that worked for me.

Thank you for clarification. I should have followed the link and would have realized they were separate downloads. For some reason I thought it was an "all in 1" apk just reading the commentary, lol :laugh:
I will nandroid just to be safe and try later on (910T). :good:

works pretty well on COD6 @ HTC Camera

The app is nice but it won't allow you to attach photos to texts.
*I found that if you select the slide option in settings then you can attach photos.

Confirmed working on xenon aosp rom

The app apk was extracted from an HTC dump. The app doesn't care what phone you run, it's just an app.
