Hey
Does anyone know if its possible to have some kind of splitter so you can use your foldable keyboard AND have it synced to PC?
I do a lot of testing on the device, and keybaord input is very useful, but don't like having to unplug from keyboard and recradle everytime I need to transfer over a new build of the program.
I'm thinking of opening up my keyboard now... only just got it... but it would be so much better if I could still be cradled.
Anyhow, if anyone knows if its technically possible, ie, does the keyboard use serial and the pc sync USB only, is there any real possibility or am I dreaming.
No, you're not dreaming: a USB connection to the PC and a serial connection to the keyboard can co-exist. I would buy and modify a serial cradle if I were you, since the USB wiring is in there: only the small USB connector inside is missing. You could also just make a Y cable that hooks to the unit on one side, and to the USB port and the keyboard on the other: not as nice, but much cheaper solution.
OK, I just received some nice plugs for the device, anyone know where I can buy sockets? So I can make a part that goes between the keyboard and the device, without ripping open the keyboard and desoldering stuff.
Is the connection socket a standard part?
I have deconstructed my broken Blue angel with the hope of using the 3.5" LCD Touchscreen in an ultra mobile pc i am making. I have LVDS, VGA and USB on the pc i am making and need a compatible controller board or adapter or whatever to get the screen to motherboard connectors LVDS, VGA or USB or any other suggestions?.....
The screen is Toppoly TD035STED1

Hello guys,
I am looking for USB OTG cable that works perfectly with E4GT. I want to attach external powered usb hubto attach portable hard drive, flash drive and nano receiver for Logitech keyboard-mouse.
Somewhat like this video...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=46IiRyigUH0
I searched online, and it shows the Sprint version doesn't allow USB OTG. My phone is rooted and I am on ICS 4.0.4.
Does anybody have any idea that from where I can find the compatible USB OTG cable for E4GT?
Thanks,
Unfortunately, the Samsung Galaxy SII Epic 4G Touch does not have the hardware in the MicroUSB Port required, (although USB OTG Compatibility requires a hardware setup along with software integration...) but without the hardware piece, we are out of luck...
On the other hand, you will have this feature if you upgrade to our phone's successor, the Samsung Galaxy S3, unless of course Apple destroys all TouchScreen Manufacturers & OS' because they were recently awarded many essential touchscreen such as multi-touch, moving icons, and more... More details http://www.acsyndicate.net/apple-aw...ts-the-possible-end-of-android-as-we-know-it/... sorry to give you the bad news... If Apple takes advantage of this, we may have a ban on the Galaxy S3 which has OTG...
Wow thanks, I wasn't aware of that and was going to buy one of those cable in the near future - saves me some big time frustration. I guess they pulled noise cancellation, discreet GPS chip, and now USB-OTG in exchange for the larger screen and WiMax chip. Annoying but still an awesome phone.
I ordered one the other day for $1.77, so not a huge loss but still...that sucks.
So, I broke my lcd cable and I haven't found new one yet. Can I just buy new lcd cable from somewhere or do I have to buy new screen ? Or can I take lcd cable from another phone ?
Hi,
I got an S4 mini with a broken LCD. I've been trying to find a way to connect it to an TV screen or monitor to be able to use in some way but since this model does not support MHL, it has not been an easy task...
Anyway, I was wondering if it would be possible to remove the LCD from the phone and actually use the LCD connectors to connect to something else, other than the phone screen?
Thanks!
