I have the Nexus 7 2012 with the charging cradle made by Asus. I'm wondering if anyone tested the fitting on the new Nexus.

I don't own that dock, but I have both tabs and the new one is alot thinner and sleeker. Also narrower.

It'll won't work if you want to charge or do anything of it. It don't have the pogo pins in it so seems like only usable with the first gen.

absolutely will not fit. The new nexus is longer than the old one. Even if it could fit, it would be useless since the new nexus does not have the pogo pins.

Just got my grubby mitts on this. It can't be an antenna, and I've never seen it on the side of the phone. Help? It could be a car dock, it's just sad that it uglifies the side.

It's not mine, I just came across one of them. Silly that they dock to the side. Hide that stuff.
I actually like it.

It is not just Verizon's GN.
They are called pogo pins and they're used for desk or car dock connection.
Those pins on the side allow you to snap it in and out of a dock like a car dock without having to deal with the USB port at all.
How awesome would it be if they made cyan housing for the Galaxy Nexus!?

That's pretty darn awesome! I might actually professionally spray mine. I'll buy a new housing with a battery door and spray it cyan!

It would be original, and to go along with that you could get a screen protector that colours the non-screen glass portion of the front with the same colour too. Check the links on the first page of this thread for more info: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1632177
Yeah I've seen them.. It would look epic! But the thing is.. I already have 3 covers for my Nexus and I just order an aluminum cyan bumper case. And well.. I might get the Galaxy S 3 when it comes out with my carrier.. But I can't let go of my Nexus.. I only wish Nexus devices came out every 6 month!

I'll probably get a Qi charger eventually, but this works well in the meantime. It doesn't detect the stand as a stand, sadly, but it's still a handy spot to put it. Crappy pics taken with my Droid 1.

Wow, well, thats an idea! I've got one flying around from my old Milestone 2, it even has the removable inlay to use it with cases, so it should have space enough for using it with my Nexus 5 with a case on.
As soon as I'm home, I'll try it out, let's see, probably going to re-life this old thing

Bought this and totally LOVE it. I didn't want anything with a flap or snap on because my Nexus 7 will have an invisible shield on it and I wanted to protect it while I went about my day. So a sleeve is a perfect accessory for me. This one is very nicely made and the stitch work is great!
The case when I first opened it from the package had a very odd odor and it did go away after a couple days. The case arrived in about two weeks from the UK to Atlanta, GA.
It fits the tablet snuggly and it doesn't fall out if I hold it upside down from its side. Overall very happy with my purchase and even bought one for a friend!
Also the engraving is slick and stands out against the gray felt.

Didn't see a thread about this in my search plus this forum has been a little quiet. So I just wanted to see what other people's setups were like. Here's mine. I'll post links to the accessories.

Very nice that's the first stand I've seen that I really like what's the mouse you are using? That looks like a mac keyboard?

I like the setup, but that is a lot of money for the stand and the speaker. Anyway its inspiring me to look at a different setup.
