We have the AT&T i467 variant. As far as I know flashing a N5120 would brick our device, even it was allowed to happen.

I have the Rogers i467. It's aka the 5120. Check your About Device.
Yours will say something like _ _ _ _ _ .N5120XX_ _ _ _ under "Build Number" ... also model number will be GT-N5120.

You dont have to root, download ghost commander from playstore its easy to use left pane will be internal s d card or search and while in second pane open ext s d . On left pane select what you want long press item and a menu will appear copy or move data try a picture first or a song you can put back on. Safe root is good but no roms yet for the at&t sgh-i467 american.

His anwer:
No, Method i have posted for N7100 won't work on your device. Even don't try untill you don't have your stock ROM with you.
Sorry i don't have any information about your device.
This is supposed to work for N7102. First it flashes a custom recovery then you can root.

I think there is no special forum by CF for N7102
But if you have samsung N7102 (china) then i have found this file from CF auto root central
http://download.chainfire.eu/300/CF...-Auto-Root-t03gchnduos-t03gduoszc-gtn7102.zip
You can flash it if your device is same as i said above. Though i highly recommend to find stock ROM before testing it, so you can return to stock if anything goes wrong.
Do it at your own responsibility, I have no any inputs regarding this.
Thansk guys for the help!
But non of them work!
it isnt possible to go in download mode
and how to get a stock rom, its hard to find for this 1.
Thanks guys!
I think your device may not be samsung n7102 but Chinese clone. No support for that you may find in that case.

I suggest you better stay on Stock ROM and do not flash international version ROM for your phone, because international version uses Broadcom A9 Dual-core processors, but yours are using Samsung Exynos Quad, flashing will result in brick. And the device you have is a rare variant because it is not available internationally.
By the way, does korean Grand have dual-SIM support?

As I say, I don't think there is custom ROM for it yet, but still I liked Samsung stock 4.1.2 ROM, all you need is to root and freeze it using Titanium Backup. I am not sure you can use Choto method to root your phone...
I suggest you ask here for confirmation before rooting your phone.
If root is not possible, go to Apps manager > Disable those apps you don't want.

You may brick your device. It is of course possible to bring your device back from such a disaster but you can avoid that by acknowledging that the Dev. Edition has an unlocked bootloader unlike the retail Verizon model which is why it was easier to root. I would wait for another method.

First of all you're in the wrong thread, this is for AT&T devices and your SM-N920V is a Verizon device which cannot be rooted as of yet and I suggest you use the Verizon thread to avoid confusing people and flashing stuff for the wrong device.
Ii belive users were waiting for an update and if they made the update available to download away from the phone. Update was required so users could build a root for att galaxy note 5. From what I read
