Just stuff it in the apps folder of the ROM your going to flash you can even throw it in the gapps apps folder and flash it

You have to stuff in your current ROM apps folder or a gapps zip and flash it and it doesn't work with a Touch Wiz based rom only AOKP or a CM rom

you need root explorer because this is system apk

I've tried every method of flashing the Camera, including this package, and I still get a force close every time I open the Camera or Gallery. I was able to fix the FC for the 4.2 Clock, but this thing is just so stubborn.

Did you delete the old camera and gallery apps?

I've deleted the old Gallery app, but I don't see a Camera app anywhere, not even in the system/apps folder. I assumed it came bundled with the Gallery app.

Hi does anyone know where to find the geniewidget.apk non rooted version? I googled it download like 10 and cant install.

This is the one I am using. Remember that you need to go to settings/security and check the box for unknown sources. That will let you install apps that aren't downloaded directly from the Google play store.

You have to push it to system manually and set permissions and reboot.

You are rooted. Just delete it. And get a real app manager. Titanium Backup or ROM Toolbox.
