[Q] Official Name - Nexus 7 (2013) Q&A

Ok - what is the official name for the new N7 2013?
I've seen Nexus 7 FLO, Nexus 7 FHD, and just plain Nexus 7 (2013). Which name should I be referring to it in the future?

Flo.
For Shizzle

There's already a thread for this here + it doesn't really matter what YOU refer to it as aslong as it's evident what you're talking about.

AFAIK there are no plans to release Ubuntu Touch for N7 2013 at the moment. Unless someone tries to port It once it's released this month.
Sad but true.

Click to collapse
razorg = deb
razor = flo

Just want to clarify what's been posted.
"razorg" is the code-name for the factory image that goes on the Nexus 7 (2013) LTE version, code-named "deb".
"razor" is the code-name for the factory image that goes on the Nexus 7 (2013) Wifi version, code-named "flo".
The difference is what you're talking about. "razorg" and "razor" are the factory images. "deb" and "flo" are the devices.

Android 5.0 Lollipop and Google Nexus 7 2012

It really grinds my gears to hear that the Google nexus 7 2012 version is getting android 5.0, a 2 year old device will get the latest Google treat and not our abandoned One X. Happy for Nexus 7 owners though.
It would be so great if its possible to make it on hox. There would be no point for selling hox

Nexus 7 2013 (WiFi) Android M Port

I was wondering if there was an Android M Developer Preview port for the Nexus 7 2013 WiFi model.

I'd like to know this as well. I traded in my LG G3 shortly after purchase, not that I didn't like the device, but work was going to BYOD and I find an iOS device preferable for work and personal, where I use Android for personal only, and had used WP8 for work only previously.
Anyway, I recently heard about Android M Dev Preview, but my only two Android devices at the moment are the original Xoom tablet (Wifi, no 3G) and a Nexus 7 (2013). So if I could load and check it out without having to buy a newer tablet, that would be nice.
It would almost be impossible! Google hasn't released any APIs yet for Android M.

They did it for the original Nexus 7 so why not this one?

What is Nexus FLO?

Hi,
I'm new to this and just purchased a Nexus 2nd generation 2013. I just wondering what is FLO stand for? I want to make sure I will flash the right firmware/rom for my correct model.
Thanks
For all intents and purposes they are the same thing, and people use them interchangeably.
Technically, FLO is google's name for the device and RAZOR is their name for the product, including all its software.
