I hope this isn't a stupid question but I'm new to custom roms, I have cm 10.1.2 and was wondering if I could get the stock samsung planner/calendar app. I've found a few apk downloads for it but it always says install failed. Any reason why?

Nevermind, I got it in system/apps and rebooted and still not working. Not sure if it's a bad apk or for some reason you can't run S Planner on CM. That's the only Samsung app I miss having.

CM=no touchwiz apps. CM doesn't have the touchwiz framework that they require.

Is it possible to add the paranoidsetting.apk to any aosp rom? I am running CM10 alpha2, and was wondering if it would work if i put it in the system folder and rebooted or if the ROM needed to be a PA ROM.
Thanks in advance
I doupt it since it modifies system files. You could give it a shot tho. Just Push it under system apps set permissions and voila

I'm pretty sure it won't work. I don't think CM has the framework to support it

I have installed trebuchet several times, and everything installs fine, but when ever I try to change any of the settings, it FC's, I am running Slimbean Unofficial, on E4GT tried moving it over to system/app, but whenever I try to set permissions it doesn't give me the option to change anything (using FX file manager with root access) any help would be useful and very appreciated.

From last nights nightly. Push it to /system/app and reboot. Then go and enable your account for it.

Quick question, will this apk install on a non-aosp rom? I have an LG G2 for verizon and I tried installing Voice+ through an app called cyanogenmod app installer, but it always has a "problem parsing the package".
I am just wondering if it is possible to get voice+ on my stock based rom. It is the Malladus rom for the verizon lg g2

Smart money is that this requires android 4.3 system files, that's why it fails on the stock, but not the Slimbean install

However, if these do indeed work on a 4.3 ROM we may very well be able to create a 4.3 based Note 3 ROM for the Note 2 as other files may work fine.
As this os the case is better to wait the most expected updated. It may have these features.

Did you wipe properly?
1. Factory reset
2. Wipe System
Once you do that, install the rom and gapps, then reboot system. Shouldn't boot back into recovery unless you tell it to.
