help,how can i use incredible's internal storage?

how can i use incredible's internal storage?
I can't find setting in camera config,only can select to card or phone memory,don't have internal storage option!
I do can find 2 removable disk in winxp form it.but i can only read/write the tf card.i can do nothing for the internal storage,include format,read,write!
how can i do?

your phone memory IS your internal memory (in case that is not clear).
You can enable your internal memory by going to settings/applications/development and checking USB Debugging.

I check the usb debug mode,but my win7 report that can't find adb drivers!

Dont enable usb debugging. Drag down the bar at top and go from charge only to usb storage mode.. windows should auto detect it as a usb drive and it will show your sd card as a usb drive...copy files over that way.

But in this mode,my win7 can only find the tf card disk. I can not read/write/format the internal storage. win xp can find 2 htc disk,but also only can net do anything to the internal storage disk!
what can i do?

Then you have something pretty tangled. I plug my standard DInc into my Win7 machine, and choose "Disk drive" mode and I see two disks mounted, one for the phone RAM and one for the SD card.

Likewise....
you can also use something like Astro and move files from the SDcard to the emmc (internal memory folder)

Mount both sd card internal and external via Usb?

I was wondering if there was some way to mount both internal and external sd card via Usb cable. I currently use Sgs3 ums app but it mounts only the external sd card. I don't really like the mtp as whenever i try to transfer videos from pc, it asks me most of the time that its not compatible nd if id want to convrt nd transfer.. Which i find pretty annoying. :-\

Just be glad you're not on a Mac. I can't mount anything. I have to use Airdroid and Dropbox, or take my memory card out of the phone, put it in a card reader and mount it that way.

Never used Mac!Even with windows i can only mount the external sd card that too by configuring a third party app SGS3 UMS !
So its not possible to mount both of them? W/o MTP?

Yes, the SGS3 Easy UMS app work, stock ROM+root+BusyBox, only microSD card will be mounted as USB Storage.

Ok - so that method from the link will only work for the External microSD - the internal storage will be accessible by MTP ?

[Q]How to mount both internal SD and external SD as mass storage in PC?

First of all, I'm just a noob to android system. I like the way android treat internal and external storage while connecting to PC as mass storage drive in Gingerbread. However it was replaced by MTP in JB.
Is there anyway I can restore this function?
I've tried search the forum and this solution might have been working:

But this is too difficult for me to deploy. I'm wondering if there's any other way to do that?

This mounts your external SD card in UMS mode. It has been tested and confirmed working on note II. I use it myself. It requires root. The internal storage however is out of the question.

thanks for the tips. im now using this amazing app for long time. the disadvantage of this app is it can't mount both internal and external sd simultaneously, which is useful for me, while in the system version of Gingerbread

Moving Apps to SD Card.

Hello,
I have been unable to move my apps to the SD card. In app manager there is an option to do so, but I am unable to select it. Do I have to format my SD card as internal storage to do so ?

yes, youll have to go to adopted storage to move most apps now.

also note once you change your externalsd to adoptable storage the it wont show up on your pc when you connect your phone to pc via usb
also note while you are converting to adoptable or back to external storage it does take sometime don't force reboot your device else your sd card would get corrupted

It's actually internal storage that won't show up on PC after, it weird that way, you'll see the card just fine. In twrp you still see both though when connecting.

yeah i know its a downer for me because if i want to move files to sd card it doesn't happen transfer it to internal then to external within your phone
that beats the purpose of usb cable i might as well use airdroid lol

Works other way around for me, SD shows up fine on USB, internal does not.

you mean after you convert to adoptable storage?
for me it only shows internal then not adoptable anymore through usb cable while the phone is powered on
not from recovery

Yeah for me on adopted storage when I connect to PC with USB only the SDcard shows up. Not the internal storage.
In twrp they both show up

Anyone know the best source for chapter & verse on the changes to storage management on Nougat?
I'm not yet using adoptable storage because I keep a large music library on SD and find it orders of magnitude faster to update it on PC. But now the option to move apps to SD card is gone in Nougat, I'm wondering if I should move to adoptable storage...
