Hello all.
I am new here and i have one problem with my Htc dhd(desire hd).When i turn on my htc it show white screen with one logo and cant start my htc.I read some threads here i try hard reset,reset,factory reset and still not working.Some people say me to change rom but i dont know how.Is maybe other way to resolve my problem? If you need information just ask me.
Ty all and please help me soon as possible.

Hey...are u still in the same situation?.. do you know what version you're running i.e. 2.2/2.3.3\2.3.7?
I can help you get
2.2/2.3.3 downgraded and rooted and hoping that your problem will be fixed.
Can you get you bootloader? (hold volume down/power button together) , this helps because it may just be a fault with your software installation on the phone and getting it rooted should help solve the problem, and of course give you a bit more freedom or if necessary back to stock with root.

If there's anything you don't understand let me know and I can help you further , most of it is self explanatory and you should get along fine...otherwise towards the end of the thread, there is another link which is a 9 step guide you can also follow..

If i understand good. First i download custom rom(what i want) then i instal on my htc use bootloader.Because i seems very hard to me with that tut.Thx

If you follow the links in order , you'll need to
Downgrade
root
Custom rom
I'm out at the moment , but will b at a computer soon so I can help u more , most of the pages have tuts on that guide u through each step , does take a little while, but gives u a better understanding of how it works , and about your phone.

Hey , yeah you'll need to downgrade following the instructions in the links on my other post , you'll then need to follow the links below to get s-off which will allow you to then change roms.
You can go one step further , which is eng-off allowing u to change radios as well , sometimes good if a radio is recommended in rom thread for better functionality/battery life.
Roms wise , there is a good choice out there for sense 3.0
Virtuous unity
Flyersense (runs well , still being fine tuned)
Those are the two I've checked out
You can get sense 2.1 with 3.0 parts , like lockscreen/weather/sms etc...
gingersense (which is a stable daily rom I use)
LeeDr0id (looks great and great add-ins)
Arhd not sure what version they're on, but it looks good too.
Once you've flashed u can always change to another one
I recommend getting titanium backup once rooted (backs up apps and data)
Sms backup and restore (saves your texts , you can do this before hand)
Most of all read the threads and faqs , and enjoy

I`ve found a stock rom but wifi isn`t working.. i fixed it but then the other devices in my home won`t connect to internet:laugh: so please ... heeeeelp meee

This a good thing from you that may help a lot of Indian ROM user. Just need the stock boot.img and recovery.img, then every one can go back to stock at anytime. And they are available somewhere in Q&A section I think.
I'm not an Indian ROM user but I tested your Nand backup... yes, it works even on my device with cid htc_044

in the sd card root the path is : sdcard/twrp/backups/sh266tv00090/cm10
my question is, can i make a folder just like "cm10" in the same path n copy the contents n go to recovery to restore the nandroid flash like normal?
also the kernel and the recovery ...
the kernel - i have to flash through fastboot ryt?
but what about the stock recovery ? should i flash it compulsory ? can i stay with twrp ?

Stock Recovery is only needed when you want to return to stock completely.
But if you want have a stock ROM and root it later, then stay on TWRP and install CWM-SuperSU-v0.98.zip (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1538053).
You also can flash Titanium-KISS kernel for OC/UV if you want to... so you will have a rooted stock ROM with OC/UV.

you can only use the Tamil Keyboard .. the menus and other things are in english only that is how HTC has made it

what cpkv5 means is you can root this By flashing the SU zip from the link and u can use a Custom Kernel Like KISS if u want to over clock
to do that u need to keep the custom Recovery TWRP and not flash the recovery.img from the first post

When the keyboard is open drag the notifications and press choose input method . You can see HTC Indic keyboard . Choose that

I flash the whole with the given procedure but unable to boot my phone, it stuck on "HTC quietly brilliant" screen, Also flash both "boot.img & Recovery.img" also cleared cache... but not booting...

This is One V files and your device is One X ...
Look in One X forum for your RUU and there is OTA for JB Sense for cid_038

I want to install SVHD v1.3.0 rom in my htc desire hd.i hv got my boot-loader unlocked by htc dev method.So In case of installing a custom rom,i need to flash hboot.img through fastboot...and i always successfully get my rom installed.
but the problem is that the flashing of this rom has a step called Aroma Installer.
I would like to know that can i install rthis rom with my earlier method...

yes, of course you can
after flash boot.img by flashboot command, you can flash the rom
during install rom you will get into aroma-installer to choose your setting and extras

I'm assuming you mean boot.img. Yes, that's fine. AROMA is just part of flashing the ROM itself. It won't affect whether you can flash the boot.img later.

You've got to flash the ROM first, then the boot.img.

I want to ask how can i install SVHD v1.3.0 rom from JellyTime ( R7 ) . I have 4EXT Recovery Touch v1.0.0.4 RC3 .
Sorry for this stupid question , but I just bought my dhd yesterday , Htc is something new for me ( my previous android phones was always Samsung )
and there in the svhd thread was no instruction , so i don't wanna guess how to instal this great rom correctly
P.S.
Why zip file has 407 ( ! ) mb ?

The same way as Samsung, just wipe and flash from recovery.
Ok , thank you , i found tutorial and i think link to it should be attached , but isn't 407mb too large for flashing by recovery ?
I have no idea; I never used that ROM.
i guess if in dev thread all write positive feedback it have to work , i'll try , if sth go wrong i always have nandroid backup

It works when you are following tutorial from teamandroid website but when my htc dhd stucked on black screen ,when i typed after all steps
in cmd.exe "fastboot reboot", my heart started to beat 3x faster but all i needed to do was just unplug battery ( act of desperation ) and finally i booted into recovery and flashed , luckily it works

Why the zip file so big?
I guess it contain the new sense version that it's really a monster.

it has taken the phones music experience to a next level.Its has got beats driver for diif. type of headsets.SRS , DOLBY <HTC 5.1,,,and lot more.

Do what? Flash a ROM? Root?
HI guys,
I am currently on Viper X rom. I flashed MIUI rom, wiped everything etc. I am using TWRP recovery 2.6.3.0 HBOOT 1.73
I am stuck on language select screen. Phone is responsive but touch screen is not. am not able to select the language and go ahead.
Please help. I read some threads. but couldnt understand much through them. CAn anyone please help me with this?

I think MIUI v.4 is for HTC One XL, where did you get that rom?
And if it's for the one x you have touch problems because of the updated touch drivers (hboot) if version 4 is a bit older and it's kernel is based on lower android kernel source it's a no go. See if you can find a newer miui

If you know chinese you should study the "Flash Guide" at the download link web page, and try it.
I had this problem before.
You have to flash XM kernel for it to work.
Try v5 version.
