I'm looking for a emoji keyboard for facebook and instagram.
I have handcent with the emoji plug-in that works perfectly for text messages but it doesn't apply to facebook or instagram. I've been searching the play store for some possible keyboards but no one can the emojis, tested on both IOS and android systems.
Whats everyone using?

With Android being so customizable, are we able to go into deep customizations with the stock apps for Android? I'd like to know if we could add more features to the stock sms client already, like sms pop-ups, emoji support (for friends who have iPhones), etc.
I know there are other clients like Handcent SMS, but I don't like having to use third party apps. If this can be accomplished, I think it would be a great addition to CyanogenMod.
If I'm not mistaken, cm does use an already modded sms app.

Those emoji can be easily replaced in the res folder within the Mms.apk pop ups would be third party app or if someone can really take a look at it and make it like MIUIs default sms, it has its own popup feature..
hey does anyone know how to and be willing to take the mms.apk with emoji from the theme and apps and make emoji able to be selected from the keyboard instead of the smileys? the reason is so that i can use the emojis on apps like instagram if someone at least can show me how ill do the work....also how does one get it to see emoji in color on instagram and other apps?
If you download https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jlsoft.inputmethod.latin.jelly.free and https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.handcent.plugin.emoji then go into the keyboard plugin settings there will be an option to enable iOS 6 emoji. When it is enabled just hold down the enter key and slide to the emoji. You then have emojis directly in the keyboard!
I use Kii Keyboard. It has the built in emojis including the new emoji from iOS 6

I have updated my handcent sms to version 4.7 and now in sms i have android smileys which i hate. (however, at the sime time, when I open sms list where all my conversation are, I see emoji smileys)
Tried to change settings to get my emoji smileys in sms back, but didn't manage to. Only figured out how to switch them off. I want emoji smileys back in sms. Any suggestions?
I believe there's an emoji package for Handcent in the play store.

On older versions it was alright. The problem is that in one place (inside the sms) android smileys are displayed, but i want there to be handcent default smileys, not the android ones. But i can't change that, only switch them off. Is it the new version bug?
Why don't you use gosms the emojis package on that work.

I love the emojis soo much. I prefer to use chomp because they automatically switch smileys to emojis

Go to the list view, settings, then application settings, and towards the bottom is the emoji settings. Just changed mine with no problem. Hope that helps

Congrats on the partnerships! :good:This is a really nice keyboard design, particularly for round faces, but i still feel a manual T9 would be a really good feature to have. The text prediction is nice, but sometimes it can't type the words I want it to (ex. "otaku") , which really kills it for me. Another suggestion is maybe to have a dedicated space button instead of tapping the middle. Sometimes you want to edit or insert a word in the sentence you just typed, and ideally you could move the cursor by tapping somewhere in between words, but this just results in a space - so the only way you could insert a word is by deleting everything you just typed.

I became a tester yesterday, downloaded the app, but I don't think I have received the update. How can I check that?
