Hi!
I have purchased Spigen sgp curved crystal screen protector on ebay. The seller sent me 2 protectors. But they are not fully covering the screen. But Spigen advertise it's a full screen cover. This screen protector height is OK, but length not 100% match. There's a little gap. Is it a normal situation?
Depends becu there are 2. The normal one and the case friendly one that doesn't touch the sides completely so that a case would not mess with it

Its not like spigen's it does not dent easily :thumbup:

I didn't know they made case friendly ones for the curve.. Make sure you check if your product is an original spigen product at http://www.sgporiginal.com/.

Kool, but hows the edge and look of it once applied? I have the ismooth and has lifting issues at the top. Hate it just for that reason.

I don't use spigen products buy most of the time when I hear about the OP situation it's becuz it's case friendly

Well my phone doesnt look like it has SP on it. Like a naked phone as it is. But dunno why it bubbled when I used my eclipse case (knowing eclipse is only a snap on case). Maybe because of my misalignment of the realook. Maybe it should have worked well if I had a 100% perfect alignment

Anything you buy from spigen has a serial number and you just enter it in to the website. It tells you if you bought a real or fake.

Don't really care for that screen protector. Doesn't seem like it covers a lot. Just my 2 cents. You seem pretty excited about it though, so it must fit your needs.

My family and I are all using Realook screen protectors. My sister and I both own a Samsung S3 and we have the Realook curved film installed. It covers the whole screen. Is it possible you got a knock-off? Can you please post the packaging of your Realook?

Also adding it doesn't lip over the screen as much as diztronic. (I have both, using modello because diztronic was peeling my old screen protector)
Glad you got a good one. Most of them do not fit properly. Spigen is a terrible company.

I love SGP and have purchased 3 of these cases(all at once) for 3 gs3's And all have same fit which seems slightly loose. All were different colors so I would assume built/formed at different times. I've always used SGP cases but these disappointed me a bit. The cruzerlite cases I have seem to fit much more snug.

It is glass , not gorilla glass. So an impact will def break the shield..but thats the whole point of it, to protect your phone's screen

Whats the purpose of a tempered glass SCREEN SHIELD? ...im not sure...
Does it replace the glass in the phone already, if not is there any possible way to do that. Like put a better piece of glass in the phone.

Jesus Christ, it it a screen protector made out of glass. It does not replace anything, you apply it like a regular screen protector BUT IT IS MADE OF GLASS. SMH.
Can anyone comment on how the glass fits with a case? Specifically with the Incipio Silicrylic cases and generic tpu cases that have a lay on table design?

It fits good because it doesnt go all the way to the border of the screen itself

Im fully used to it .The screen is holding very good.. feels pretty solid. sensitivity still there and stays very easy to clean.
Light reflection is just like if it was naked.
So far so good
I'm curious if this would work with the otterbox defender after the crap plastic one is removed on the case. I'm looking for an alternative right now and if this would fit with the defender I would be happy indeed

My main concern would be if the plastic shell would close on top of it because of the thickness of the glass

I have a few questions about this protector I was hoping someone could answer:
1. I recall reading about another glass protector and people complaining there was a grid of dots on it. Is this one completely clear or is there any pattern on it?
2. Does it have an oleophobic coating as good as the naked glass? I've currently got a DBA protector on mine and finger grease is both more noticeable and much harder to wipe off than the naked screen.
3. Would this type of case hide or reduce the visibility of scratches already on the screen? The DBA case does that quite well. It just has too many other issues.
4. Does it come in blue?

I have x-gears spectre tempered glass with UAG and it fits. But the right side when using the power button can make the protector lift a bit. No big deal you have to press it dwn again.

Only reason i gave up on s3 was crack screen.
My screen cracked even without dropping phone on s3 and replacement phone cracked too by dropping just from my pocket. so I moved to iPhone, but I love android.

No but really all you need is a case with a bumper that extends so the glass can't be the first thing to hit the hard surface. I've become a fan of cases that combine TPU and a hard barrier.

this plus a case,(personally I went with an otterbox) and you will never have a problem.
Get a tempered glass protector (I got mine from Spigen), and then a case. That will protect your screen.
I use an xoskins http://xoskins.com and a case. It doesn't have orange peel like other skins and won't get scratched with sand or lint. Cases I prefer otterbox

according to their site, its listed as "coming soon", so i doubt anyone has a review of it. but if you have a link where one can be bought, let us know

but ive had this on my s3 and my retarded 3vo and i can say that it does what it does i had a forklift run over my 3vo whit the case on and i will say not a scratch on it it does add size to the phone though so be aware of that

Try the otterbox commuter case with mime ghost glass. I love the combo, not very bulky and superior protection :good:
Does the defender (since we are talking about bulky cases) have the same issue with the silicon coming loose over time like on the sgs3

Had on on a S3 now have one for the One using the MIME glass instead of the included plastic screen protector. Works great and no problem with pockets.
