menu is cut off when viewing pictures in gallery - LG Optimus G Pro

does this happen to anyone else when viewing pictures in gallery or any other app? if so how do you fix it?
this issue seemed to start randomly, and wasn't after a software install or update.
below is what it looks like

}

no one else is having this issue?

I haven't experienced it myself, but thought I'd throw out some ideas/questions to get a better sense of what's going on. Have you changed any display settings such as the screen dpi? Are you rooted? Is this the only app that cuts off part of the screen? Does your camera app get cut off? Does it do this in both landscape and portrait? Anything else you can think of that you did right before this started?
Although not really a fix, in the meantime, I would recommend using QuickPic as a good gallery alternative.
Also, drinking weird looking beer and working on brakes may not be a good idea .

(Q) Can't save scenes?

So I just noticed that I am unable to save scenes on my phone anymore. It's not a huge deal since I don't really use them, but it's bugging me knowing that it's not working. I'm running redemptive 2.2 with Viva azul 1.1 and more mods than I can fit on this page. But it was working fine as of a week ago so I know it's neither the rom nor the theme. I've tried wiping data on rosie to no avail. So the question is, what controls scenes? I still have the standard ones listed, but my current one is unsaved. When I hit save I can type whatever I want and hit done on the keyboard, but then I get some kind of default wallpaper with a line through it instead of the losing box, and it just sits on that screen until I hit home or back, but it never saves.
I'm at a loss and don't know where to look for a fix for this. Any ideas?

Help! Photo sphere not processed correctly

I have had some bugs lately with photo sphere, not always but a couple of times the image was not processed correctly and had lost a great image. I attach an example. I found this image in the gallery, very bad quality and with the divisions on it. It's just happened random and want to know if I did something wrong or it'll it just a bug. Maybe I turned off the screen before it ended the process or who knows...
Any help to avoid this happening in the future will be great.
Using paranoid Android and ak kernel v20 by the way.

looks like you snapped before the camera had time to adjust and prepare to capture.. it happens to me on occasion.
you can always try to reflash your gapps to get the proper camera.apk and or gallery.apk again

[Q] My screen keeps blacking out, I can't even use my phone anymore

It goes like this. The screen is still on and responsive, like I can keep pressing stuff but obviously I can't see a thing so it's pretty much useless. It happens so often now I literally cannot use my phone. Every time I turn it on it starts blacking out like this and flickering. Any ideas what this is? Thanks for helping
I think your phone's display is damaged. Anyway to be sure try a different ROM first.

yeah its not working with any other roms either. It also has this problem in recovery mode. If I try to take a screenshot it turns out perfectly fine.
+1, display seems damaged by what you describe

Camera hardware issue?

Hi!
Since yesterday I have this problem: when I open any camera app I can ear a sound from inside like "TRRR-TRRR"... I never heard such a thing before. It sounds like if the lens are trying to focus, but they can't.
And actually they can't focus anything. I tried to change ROM, but nothing changed.
So I'm afraid I have to change camera... Is it possible?
Can I try anything else before to spend some money or throw the phone away?
Thanks a lot!
Anyway, that's what a pic look like:

i been experiencing the same thing since my coworker accidently bumped on me and i dropped my phone. i think its a hardware issue not software. unless someone here can chime in. im planning on buying a rear camera part on ebay. but it might take a while.
i do hope someone here do give an input. if they had the same issue and what they did to remedy it.
