[Q] Restoring Korean F240 To Stock

Hi Guys
I flashed the CN mod rom on to my korean f240k a few months ago because i wanted to remove the subscribed network notifcation but now ive decided i want to go back to a stock rom.
I have tried to run the restore on the lg support tool but they have updated it and it doesnt seem to work now, also the flash tool doesnt open on my windows 8 laptop..
Is there any other ways of completely resetting the device?

Easy, put your imei number instead xxx it the link http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/auth_model_check2.jsp?esn=xxx and you'll see link to latest KDZ ROM file for you F240K. Download it, find KDZ_FW_UPD_EN somewhere here and flash your KDZ onto phone. You're fixed!

Thanks mate but when i tried the link it gives me an error. Doesnt load? (I changed xxx to my imei)
Maybe LG server is down.. Ill try tonight @ home
Will this work ok on win8?

imei should be straight bunch of digits, 15 in my case, without any dashes - or qoutes " or `
it must work, this way your phone connect to update servers and downloads it's updates

Nothing works on windows 8.. Even in compatibility mode

[Q] Help required ! PLEASE! (No Network/Unknown IMEI when SIM inserted)

Model: LG Optimus G Pro F240s
I was on a custom rom when I started getting no network so I followed the best method to get to stock by a user (using LG flash tool).
I was successful & got back to as stock as possible, Problem:
the IMEI is showing as unknown, only when SIM is inserted !
WCDMA hidden menu settings change & save when there is no sim but with sim inserted they do not change & IMEI is shown as unknown !
Please help.
I have searched a lot but no progress!
I read that if any of you give me the stock efs images for efs for a Optimus F240s then I can restore them back.

Ok , im a noob but i did what others said "impossible"
There was no logic in my method but i didnt gave up.
I used FlashTool.1.0.54 with a Brazilian carrier KDZ(my current Carrier) . - No sucess (i flashed a 989 kdz in my F240L, but i did that to try to recover modem and baseband data)
After that, as i had no sucess, i flashed the korean kdz ( F240L10v from the LGU carrier) but i did not wipe cashes and user data.
When i finished to flash the f240l my signal was back, but i got several crashes from the rom (i clicked "ok" more than 100 time XD ) but managed to enter system (i was kinda blind cos evething was in korean language) and perform a factory reset.
NOW EVETHING WORKS FINE, THANKS LORD !!!!
My advice: Dont give Up, try everything even if u tried it already...try again and again.
I wish you luck !!!!!

You have to be on download mode and your battery needs to be 100% fully charged, otherwise the update will not go thru. Good luck!:good:

Joining the pack here... Please help. Trying to download the Stock ROM for v10V right now. Phone came with 10Z originally or so I think. That's what comes up when I check the IMEI through browser anyway. Tried to put stock 10z and issue unfixed.

Cannot download v10V... link from lg-firmware not working.
Anyone who has a copy of it?

Fixed it!!! Ahahahaha! :laugh:
Step 1: I installed Stock E980h Panama Firmware. Download it from lg-firmware
Step 2: Installed Stock Original F240L 10z Firmware.
Step 3: Jump, Roll and Jump again becuase it's working now and I dont know why. Ahahahaha!

What Brazilian fw did you use? what carrier?

this was also my prob 2hours ago. installed custom rom and a baseband that was linked to the rom. after flash i had bootloop, then restored my rom using cwm on the backup i made and it was successful but my imei has gone null.
so what i did was..
downloaded the right modem model from:
http://storagecow.eu/index.php?dir=Xda/Users/Anirudhks-OptimusGPro/Modem+Collection/ Thanks to anirudhks.
flash it on cwm.
the wula.
boom
profit.

[Q] E980 AT&T Going to T-Mobile F240S

Hello guys, I buy E980 @at&t and when I try to update 4.1.2 JB to 4.4.2 KK Its say's Im not registered. But I have another the same phone and there was no problem, from 1 seller purchased.
So I tried to flash rom on 1 of them and I bricked it up. After 3-4 hours I unbricked It and now there is F240S on T-Mobile, not E980.
And my SIM is not active too. My rotation display is not functional right. When I rotate it on horizonal, screen is going rotate to vertical and back when I rotate phone on vertical, screen is going horizontal..
Some advice to fix all this mess up?
Can I revert again E980 at AT&T stock? Now Im on T-Mobile and shows model F240S..

The .tot method works, though you may have to use a Windows XP system.

This helps me alot.
Now I have another question.
Maybe because of another stocks that I installed before to fix it, my rotation sensor is not working anymore. Is it can be because of software?
And now Im with Stock AT&T E98020g, but with DLL from F240, can be from that my problem? How can I change that DLL?

So someone knows if I set Beanstalk can my problem with rotation be solved, or any another rom?

Help going back to stock!

I am trying to take my LG G3 back from Cyanogenmod to stock rom.
This should not be an issue, but im finding it hard?
The phone is D855 European 32gb.
I have been able to find a .TOT but not a KDZ rom for it, all i find is the 16gb rom.
I cant figure out how to use the .TOT and searching google leaves me with further questions as to which method i should use?
One says LG Flash Tool one says something else, im just going nuts over this..
A kind sould to point me the in the right direction?
Key points, im on the same pc as i did the root and cyanogen, and the LG drivers are already on the PC, the USB sees the phone on COM port 3.

LGUP shows unknown model ????

Hi Guys i have LG G3 D851 ..i am currently on MM i want to downgrade to lollipop so i downloaded the kdz file V20e but the problem is that LGUP cannot detect my G3 shows the device as unknown model but correctly shows the comports i even tried using LGFlash tool used seems that i cannot downgrade shows error and stops so i wanna know is there any way to fix this unknown model in LGUP ...

To anyone else who has this issue u may need to change the buildprop file and ur phone must be rooted it still doesnt shows as unknown in LGUP but since i have rooted my phone n bought a new battery and installed xposed and im having a good battery life i still want to know why it aint showing up in LGUP

i think D851 doesnt support LGUPdirect mthod thats what i figure but u can go back via tot method to lollipop or kitkat...im still using MM with custom rom

Dont install it.. use it with flashtool as dll and tot for ur model.. old flashtool way

i cant seem to flash via lgflashtool 2014 cuz it needs kdz n in TWRP u need .zip file...what other flashing method is available?

The only flashing method that has ever worked for me when my phone was bricked along with Corrupted recovery is the .TOT method. And that I'm afraid is the one from where you have to start all over from Out of the box experience with 4.4 Kitkat. If the LGFlashTool2014 does not work for you, I recommend the LGFlashtoolv1.8.1 + the crack. It will not ask you for the KDZ and should allow you to downgrade without any hassle.
There are 2 things you will need:
LGD851AT-01-V10c.zip & LGFLASHv160.dll
This will point you in the right direction. Just scroll down to the text where it says "2014 TOT Method (Old/Outdated)"

Solution to LGUP LG G3 unknown
While an old thread, it'll be found in searches. For anybody who gets "UNKNOWN" device with LGUP for the LG G3, I found that LGUP for the G3 is often distributed with the wrong DLL file. See the details here, post #11.
