thanks for your attention, when I did the repair I was on stock UVDLJA, saw the reboots then updated to stock UVDMD5, the reboots continues so I rooted and flash through TWRP PAC-MAN Rom and reboots still here
Did you update using Odin, or flashing a rom?
Did you factory reset?
Are you absolutely certain you restored the imei correctly?
Write down what it says for the imei under about phone, status. Then compare to what it says under the battery.

I updated it using Odin, I've made many factory reset even knowing Odin erased all partitions, I repaired using Z3X box imei and everything match with label under battery, right after the repair sometimes after suddenly reboots it ups with unknown baseband and null imei and in the next reboots like a joke everything, modem and imei appears I've made the repair using the box three more times thinking was about firmware versions but didn't help
Oh ok, ive always wondered about the boxes thst are out there. You're the first I've heard of someone actually using one of those.
I may have something you can try though. Watch your PM's, just give me a few min on it though.

The fix is to repair IMEI by NV
Hi! I know this subject may have been closed but I have the same problem too.. I've repaired my imei and then after last reboot this loop started. Opening.. lockscreen (1-2 sec) and then shutting down. After that, going to TWRP. I use Orange Fox as TWRP. I have never installed any roms. Just rooted. My phone is Xiaomi K20 Pro/Mi9T Pro. I tried many times wiping data,cache,dalvik.. and factory data. But It didn't help either. Can I ask what is repair IMEI by NV?

Have you tried the LG update Tool ? If you dont have a Ginger Bread rom .Try the unbrick method up to when you flash the korean GB version then run the LG update tool to get stock ICS and see if a factory restore would reset the imei .Honestly I have done havoc to this phone and havent had imei messup .
Actually doing the official update right now, I have done havoc to mine too, I've flashed countless amounts and unbricked at least 5 times. I guess the phone finally got sick of it and quit on me
EDIT: after doing the official update my imei is still missing

Flashed via CWM from HoNo's official ICS to CM9 stable doing a wipe of dalvik and wipe of data/cache

There is no way you can get it back, but you can restore some partition's data from other cell phone, use other people's imei.
I would just send it to LG to repair and/or replace.

Sir i did that but it displayed IMEI: 0
I'd like to make an important note that I flashed my phone twice using the lg official update tool, that the second time I did it I selected recover phone option and entered my imei, after that around downloading at 4% I disconnected my phone and after it started up my imei had returned! However after a reboot of my phone it was lost again, I repeated the steps several times to get it back and it has not recovered again. I have also let it perform a complete flash after entering my imei and it still has not come back
EDIT: My IMEI occasionally appears giving me a connection to the network however I can only receive texts, no calls, SMS, or data. Then once I reboot my IMEI is gone again. Another note is that I can not disable the radio no matter what I try.

I need at&t so im wondering, is it possible to swap the inside of the white and put in the black? Im hoping someone knows so I can find someone to do it.
My guess would be yes you could do that. For the heat problem though, if you are using stock build UVDMD5, either try Odin flashing the LJC firmware, or.Just flash the LJC modem.

WELL WHEN IT WAS STOCK IT GOT HOT. NOW IM ON WICKED V10 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1804260 AND IT STILL GETS HOT..I DONT KNOW WHAT THAT LJC OR UVDMD5 IS.
It's the build number. Refers to the firmware. Check what baseband it says you're on. If it's the UVDMD5 one, go to the modem thread and flash a different one and see if it helps

Ok, I'd suggest making a nandroid then factory reset and test. If it stops heating up.then there may be some old or corrupted data causing a process to hang. If it still happens you can restore the nandroid and try a different kernel. Otherwise see if there are any other reports of the same thing in the Rom thread.

ok, ill try that...even tho i reflashed but maybe..u never know?
Flashing without wiping can help, but not usually. It's the data separate from the Rom that usually causes problems.

Sorry my bad, I would stay away from N7100 and N7105 section. There so many N7100 and N7105 ported rom for our device in att section so just use the ones from here. If read the changelogs of some roms here you will see MF2 roms are originally from N7xx roms.
Edit..
Flashing rom made for N7xx device can mess up your modem, imei etc. I

Brick like dead screen, not responding to anything or wont show n your computer when connected to usb or simply expensive paper weight. Only way to revive it flash via jtag etc. There is also soft brick where its only black screen but you can still flash roms via Odin and flashing wrong rom can cause soft brick too.

There is also a corrupt efs partition. If you didn't have it backed up you have no imei, and so you have a phone that can turn on but can't connect to any network, this can be permanent and has happened to people from flashing n7100 roms

yeah hard bricked or corrupted efs both suck :/
I have never bricked a phone and been using android since early 2009.
I'm crazy cautious
Back up of EFS is a must too, it is a good habit that you always have nand, modem csc patch and efs back up saved to you external card or computer.
Once your a little more familiar with your phone this is a good thread to check out http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2018411. For the most part the i317 and 7105 are identical except for modem and gps files DO NOT FLASH A 7100 ROM Unless it has been modded following the posted thread. Personally i have been using Jedi x17 it has everything i want extended boot menu,Lidroid 23 toggles, speed tweaks etc... Now i have made my own modifications as well (status bar, speedometer and ringtones) I also have been working on modding MA3 rom as well in my spare time but really Jedi works just fine. Just my two cents. Good Luck and have fun,Dave
I have the Sprint Note 2. I just went to flash the revolution HD ROM and the phone did not take the rom. When I restored it from my backup prior to the flash, the phone now has no service. When I try to update the PRL is says the username is null. I restored the phone to the original factory with the qbkin77's method using odin and still has no signal... The sprint store has no idea whats wrong with it (no surprise).
Is there anything I can do to fix it or do I just need to pay the 50 bucks from sprint and get a replacement phone.
Anyone have an idea? I have flashed this and phones many times before without this problem.

Thank you for that! But my IMEI is actually gone I found today and i have no backup of the efs... and that says it will not bring back the IMEI? I will probably try it anyway tomorrow though.
I just got a Note II that gets stuck at the pulsating "SAMSUNG" logo when it boots. I tried loading Gummy, and it does the same thing. I ODIN'd it to the latest Sprint factory firmware.
The recovery download says it's unable to mount the efs partition.
I tried restoring the device with Kies, but that keeps saying to double check the IMEI and model number.
I'm wondering if the NV is a separate chip that could get fried? I can solder .
Not sure where to get a schematic for it.

Unfortunately I'm only seeing solutions where the device is able to boot and be put into debug mode.
This one tries to load its firmware for a while, then drops into recovery.
