No can do amigo. ..
EFS files contain the IMEI and personal data from each user. ..and are considered private information. ..
I don't think users will send you private files. ...g

Sorry for the noob question. I was wondering, if I rename my nandroid backups, will I still be able to restore them? When I had my Photon, I would get all the way to the end of restoring a Nandroid backup and it would fail. It did it for all my renamed backups. Just was wondering if it's the same for the GS3?

Don't leave any spaces in the file name and you should be fine.

Should be AFAIK, linux just tends to stumble on spaces in file names if you don't escape them. I always follow the name scheme of ROMX.DATE so for cm10 I have CM10.8.31.2012, hope that helps.

Yes all Samsung and alot of the newer devices put the efs folder on an erasable partition. From here on out get used to backing it up as soon as you get the device.

There are many efs backup tools which would you recommend?
Sent from my SGH-M919 using xda premium
I don't use any tools. I back it up manually. So can't reallynl suggest any
