I looking to know which apps + system files did you deleted OR freezed in YOUR xperia SL (or any other Xperia).
I would appreciate that very much if you will list you apps / system files and what was deleted or freezed.

yes, from the screenshot attached, that's the only i freeze (actually i'm freezing for testing purposes, if no issue, i will delete/uninstall)
another screenshot those i uninstalled/deleted. please do mind i'm not sure about Xperia SL, but i think most of Xperia Apps is safe to remove.
please do freeze it first, and most of it, try to back it up too. i'm not responsible any breakdown of your device

1. What are all the Facebook apps on the deleted list? If i'm using f.b app - it's better for not touching them?

those are Xperia Facebook related, you know such as when you are posting status via Facebook widget, it'll come out ...via Xperia Mobile or something like that. and many other thing, which is to me, is bloated.

you just leave FB apps, others can try to freeze it. i still using FB app though.

I didnt install'd a CWM.
Do you know which is the correct/suitable CWM for the xperia SL ?
If do - it would be great if you will give me the link + directions on how to install the CWM !!!
I don't know this too much (i know how to flash/root...)

No. it won't work for the "SL".
I read on the thread: For the gb (gingerbread) only.

Please explain - this app is for install any CWM?
Instead of install it with some "flash tool" - just use this app and directly from the phone?

The credit goes to nhoc_huhu for posting this fix and jemju_xps-user for giving more detailed instructions and confirming it works. Please leave thanks for them, I'm just posting detailed, easier to follow instructions.
Things you will gain:
- working Bravia on ICS
- working Download Music Info for Walkman
- root will stick if you had it before
Things you will loose:
- ability to flash custom ROM's requiring unlocked boot loader. Duh.
- CWM recovery. You can get it back using this guide
Steps:
1. Download Walkman_port_few_fixes.zip
2. Clear data for Download Music Info and all Walkman apps, under settings>apps>all
3. With Root Explorer or any root manager; copy CredentialManagerService.apk from the attached zip and paste it to system>app and set permissions. Delete .odex file for CredentialManagerService if you're on a odexed stock ROM.
4. Copy file system>lib>libdrmtestengine.so from the zip and paste it to system>lib and set permissions.
5. Copy file system>lib>DRM\libdrmtestengine.so from the zip and paste it to system>lib>DRM and set permissions.
6. Shutdown and flash stock kernel with Flashtool.
- either use the kernel from the FTF file of the Firmware you are currently using, be sure to not wipe Data(you will loose apps) and System(you will loose root). Uncheck wipe data and check Exclude System.
- OR flash this with fastboot; fastboot flash boot 55.sin. The attached kernel is for .55 firmware. Here is the JB .200 kernel.
7. Relock your bootloader using these instructions.
8. Reboot and it should be working!! It does for me(stock .55) and jemju(XTX v7) :good: :good:
Optional: When I relocked bootloader, my WiFi was broken. Download this and paste it to /system/lib/modules with correct permissions. Reboot and WiFi will be back.

Because it works. Check the pictures mate. The difference is clearly visible. Look at the skin color, the first is BE off, the second BE on.
Sorry if you guys are non-smokers, this pic was the best I had to show BE working.

You can try. Though my personal opinion is that BE2 over BE1 is just placebo..it's hard to tell difference between BE1 on and off, let alone between BE2 and BE1.
I can confirm Bravia Engine Working with this method :good:

I think it will work, Because, I flash stock .55 , UB to root then I relock and copy DRM ,next i flash BE2....And i can see the diffirence beetween BE1 BE2..., Here image:No Be, BE1, BE2
I think the rom base on stock will work.....i tried the other rom (skudo v3) base on Stock and it still work..

Yeah, a slight delay was always there, from what I remember. But that's OK, the delay makes it easier to see which parts of the image are enhanced.

That is a very old firmware.. problem was... this is a framework-res.apk from AMD6 ... so it will only be compatible with that

You can indeed use the old firmware you already have, but the latest one would be better, since you're already gonna flash something, flash the latest one, yes which is AMD6. Make sure you have the same device model as in the firmware name before flashing with Odin though.

Yes. You should, but make sure you backup a working system. Don't backup a bootlooping system or something like that (doh!)

My wife's phone got the OTA update. It already downloaded so I just had the file name, showing it is in cache:

Have you problem with the new SuperSU?
I have read this: "Be careful with that version of SuperSU. It is not yet stable (on the N4 at least). There is an issue where for some reason (and we haven't figured it out yet), you lose root, and the daemonsu process starts eating up ~70%+ of your CPU time. Battery dies pretty quick. "

I just did this myself - stock 4.2.2 and stock bootloader.
Adb sideload worked fine and I didn't lose any data.
Only strange thing was my live wallpaper was uninstalled, but everything else seems ok, and I just reinstalled the wallpaper from the Play store.
I don't see "yakju" mentioned in the software build details anymore like other releases???

try clearing the app data and cache,then reboot and check

you wont lose anything.just go to settings>applications go to KERNEL TUNER.click on it.click clear data button and clear cache button.restart phone and check if it works

I'm new too. Thanks anyway buddy Androsensor's battery status is working. I think problem is in Kernel Tuner. When I hit Kernel Tuner in notification bar it says "Kernel Tuner stopped" but I got latest version :/

Install Instructions

2) Add these lines to your build.prop:

wait., is that super user mod same as the device being rooted? or should I install anything more?
I have a stock rooted, deodexed jb fw, shall I flash this file via cwm directly?

Flashed the mod but it still appears as 7.15.A.0.0
Tried to install the link you posted, but when pushing framework.jar to system/framework the phone suddenly rebooted, got stuck into a bootloop and after I got out of it, the phone "booted" but thousands of "Stopped Working" errors started popping. Had to re-flash eXistenZ Ultra, since Hard Reset didn't work...
Is it ok if i just have Honami Home or is it a must to install Super User MOD?

By Honami Home you must install also superuse mod isn't ? So yes then you need only flash this walkman

Super user mod is applied in @jjwrongjj 's ZU framework
Blurry images
Everything is working perfectly
The only bug I faced is that the album artwork (image),it gets blurry.thats so annoying
Is there any fix?

For the ones using Existenz,I had the same problem,after flashing walkman are still on 7.15.A.0.0,BUT you can install manually the app extracted from the zip file,like any other app,at least on Existenz!

What are you talking about...
The super user mod (don't know from where comes this stupid name... ) is only patching service.jar to remove the signature check and allow modification on android.manifest.
This CAN'T be unstable
