1.root the phone
2.install cwm then backup all the apps and data
3.Downloaded the rom from the said website (1.58gb size)
4.extract the file from my pc using 7zip
5.copy the update.zip file to the internal memory of the phone
6.go to the cwm recovery
>wipe data/reset
>advance>wipe dalvik cache
>install from zip sdcard>choose Zip from sdcard>update.zip

Been struggling from last 4 days trying to download the V9 ..tried explorer..chrome..opera after 87% it stops... downloading the older version was fine...
can someone whos already downloaded it share it pls..thanks
You have to use any download manager. I tryed with JDownloader and i got it :good:
I just took risk by install this rom....So I can tell you that after you download this huge file. And you unzip it, you will find one folder name F240 f220-cn-v9 . In there, there are recovery apk file which you have to install it in your phone. So you can go recovery mode...Oh..of course you phone have to root first. Also there are two zip file one is UPDATE.zip which you have to put in your internal sd card of you LG PRO. Another zip file named, unicorn-cn-v9.zip I have no idea what it is...
So you just go recovery, wipe all thing including wipe dulvik catch...also and install it take about 5 minutes to finish....
About this rom, I would say it better than base rom, it modified a lot of thing and it also get rid of a lot of annoying thing you have in your phone.
one thing after installed this rom you may find you 3g or 4g cant' be used you have to set new APN
Of course this rom gives you more theme, more modification, more lock screen, more smooth,
Hi guys, I have a doubt about the rom.
the sequence to install what is it??
after wipe all
1.update.zip
2. unicom-cnv9.zip
3. baseband.zip
I think that unicom-cnv9.zip is only for the chinese ... I am living in Spain so .. meaby is not necesary for me.. but I dont know it .. this is my doubt
The transaparece zip is not interesting for me.
thank you in advace
mine is F240k

Maybe try different kernel, there is new Mjolnir Kernel. You can fastboot it no need to install system from scratch after.
Hello,
I downloaded the CM9 RC1 from the cyanogenMod page, here's the link, http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=zeus&type=RC
The kernel is inside the zip (boot.img).
Put the .zip file you downloaded into the SDcard
copy the boot.img that comes inside the .zip to the folder where you have the flashing tools.
flash this kernel (You know how to do that, right?)
unplug from computer the cel and turn on, a freexperia logo appear and when the light in the power button turns on, press and keep pressed the down volume button. you'll enter to the recovery menu.
in the recovery (use the volume buttons to move and home button to enter), wipe data/fatory reset, then wipe cache partition and go advanced/wipe Dalvik Cache.
Still on the recovery, back to main menu (use the back button) and go to install zip from sdcard, then go to choose a zip from sdcard. You will see the files on your card, search for the downloaded .zip and install it.
when finish, go to main menu and choose reboot system now, and that's it!
That worked for me.... hope this will help you to install the CM9 :fingers-crossed:
Cheers :good:

Hello,
Also, Don´t forget to download the google apps .zip file.
Put it in the same place you put the CM9 rom into the sdcard. on step 6, when the installation of the rom finish, before rebboting the phone, repeat the step 6 but choose the googles apps .zip file and there you go!
the link for the CM9 google apps is: http://cmw.22aaf3.com/gapps/gapps-ics-20120317-signed.zip
Cheers! :good:

I flashed a new ROM after an annoying bug from the previous ROM,then I installed some applications (including busybox),restarted it without problems, but after the next restart it was bootlooping (I don't know why,I didn't installed any other application after the first restart).I did a factory reset,I wiped the data, cache, dalvik cache, but it was still bootlooping.I wiped it again and I tried to flash another ROM (and yes, they were all compatible with my phone, and I respected the instructions,I flashed a lot of ROMs before),but, again,it was bootlooping.I wiped it one more time, and I performed a nandroid restore (from another ROM),but it was still bootlooping.WTF?I have never experienced a thing like this.Should I try to flash a ROM (stock,GioPro) with Odin? What if it would still bootloop? What should I do?
BTW:I don't know if this is important, but before I preformed the nandroid restore,I accidentally made a backup (it was made very fast),and I noticed that the date was messed up(showing year 1970).It says that it has only 16mb and the only folder existing in /system is lost+found. However,I can see my boot animation
Sorry for the eventually spelling mistakes.

I flashed GioPro 1.6 (I know it's old),it worked, but I couldn't see the settings app,so I copied one from CM 7.2 with adb,and guess what? It bootlooped.Even after I wiped data and cache (I can't wipe dalvik because of CWM 5.0.2.7) and now I can't even see the boot animation,it just restarts after "Galaxy Gio".Tomorrow I will try to flash the stock one(enough with flashes for today). Can you send me the link for the stock rom(I can't find it)?

Hello everybody This is Lucky Rom V1, based on Korean V30C L. All the credit goes to @hyunhnhan886. I`m just sharing his work.
As always I am not responsible if you brick your device. You are doing this at your own risk.
So, to start off, make sure you`re using jelly bean E975H rom ( http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=20 ), that you have an unlocked bootloader (mako method)
( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=edu.shell.freegee_free ) and a working cwm ( i used philz touch cwm https://drive.google.com/folderview...sharing&tid=0B9EFp1W1O3f2SXp2bVcycXpfRkU#list - while downloading make sure to select e975 version )
1. Put the Lucky Rom archive, patch and the europe e975h modem on your internal storage ( links down below )
2. Boot into recovery by turning off your phone and holding volume up + power button > scroll down two times until you see "Recovery" and press Power button
3. In Philz CWM select wipe data/factory reset ( DO NOT select "install a new rom" ), wipe cache and dalvik cache
4. Go to "Install zip" > "Install zip from sd card" > find your ROM archive and flash it
5. Go to "mounts and storage" and select "mount system", wait a few seconds and then unmount it
6. Once more go to "Install zip" > select patch and flash it
7. After that select e975h_europe modem and flash it, just to be on the safe side
8. Wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache and dalvik cache and boot your phone
I`ve installed the rom without any problems. I haven`t seen any bugs so far. I`m able to charge with the phone turned off. You dont need to unlock the bootloader, it will not give a secure boot error, at least I didnt have that problem. And there is no need to install super su, it comes with the rom.

I'm currently on v10F. Planning to flash 10H and then flash this. But if we want to revert back to 4.1.2, will we be able to do it with nandroid backup of v10H?. I will be taking nandroid backup immediately after flashing v10H, before flashing this ROM. Because, I see from several users that the signal is very weak in leaked kk ROM's.. Please advice...
Thanks for share @Brontok i had flashed lucky rom other day but did not find it much impressive so reverted back to Sling. Tell me did you find it any better ? It does not have Guest mode slide aside etc. I have a question whats the purpose of this patch ? i had flashed lucky without patch or modem and it worked fine.

It would be better to downgrade and than flash this rom. if you try flashing the modem only please let us know if it worked.

You must flash KDZ jelly bean, do a hard reset, transfer your backup to your phone a than restore it .

It has slide aside, take a look at the settings.
The call forwarding btw doesn't work, is there any good app or a way to make it work?

If you install this rom, like any rom for that matter, will automatically switch to your knox 0x1.A this day, I do not think there is a way to not trigger it.
On Google Chrome, I think it's false positives.
Vamos a probarla

What is the problem exactly? Are you able to install the ROM via your recovery ?.
If so, be patient in this reboot may take a few minutes for the first boot.

Also, I suggest you try to reinstall as I have already mentioned before:

I think so, at first glance, but I do not want to risk bringing you a brick.Maybe others can confirm or not.

I think the only concern is that the bands are not the same networks with Europe.
Issues with Widgets
Hi,
I have a little issues with widgets but only when I use a other launcher like Nova or Aviate.
Everything else works like a charm, even the wifi now (thanks to the fix) but when I try to add a widget, I've got an error who say "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped" with Nova or Aviate. At the beginning I tought it was my Kazakstan ROM but then I flash my Note with the Italian ROM and I've got the same problem on both.
So.. Is there a possibility to fix that ?
Thanks for your answer . And nice work by the way !
what about the s-pen and the camera?
weeks before i tried different s5 roms for my i9300. The camera doesn't work on all s5 roms for the i9300
is it the same here for the n7505? does the camera work?
sorry fo my bad english
The camera and the s-pen work well with this ROM. Don't worry about this..

You Must have UNLOCKED your BOOTLOADER FIRST To Upgrade.STEP 1
Root your mobile.I have tested Kingo root software(PC) and rooted successfully
STEP 2
Before unlocking BootLoadr , Take TA partition backup. Search on Google what is TA partition how to backup or Go here.
STEP 3
Install recovery (If already installed then move to Step 4) .
STEP 4
Now you need a compatible recovery to flash lollipop rom.Download Flashable zip with TWRP .
This has mickybarts Naosp b26's boot.img(Kernel) and Twrp recovery which can flash Lollipop roms without any problem.
FLASHING LOLLIPOP ROM
Download the ROM and gapps use pico gapps as its small in size.Download Supersu.zip.then copy these to SD card.
Now you have 4 FILES must be copied to SD card.you can make a folder and place all files on that.
1. flashable Zip with twrp
2. ROM.zip
3.gapps
4.SuperSU.zip.
Now the flashing steps.
1. Enter to recovery (cwm) and take back up(important).
2. now install the flashable Zip with twrp and reboot to recovery.
3. now you are on twrp recovery
Then in TWRP goto Wipe----then choose Advance wipe---then select (4 things) 1.Dalvik cache,2.System,3.cache,4.Data and swipe to wipe (Important::Make sure Sd card is not selected....Otherwise you will lose all saved files in sd card).
4. Now go back to main menu of TWRP and Goto Mount menu...and Deselect (3 things) 1.System, 2.Cache, 3.Data..(Leave the Internal Sdcard selected or ticked)
5. Now go back to Main menu and click Install. Then Select the Rom.Zip you want to Flash.
6. Wipe Cache Dalvik Cache
7. Now again Goto Install menu and Select Gapps package to Flash
8. Wipe Cache Dalvik Cache
9. Select Supersu.zip to Flash
10. Wipe Cache Dalvik Cache and Reboot to system.. DONE
Tried your flashing tutorial and it woked so well, didn't faced any bootloop problems and the steps are clear enough for newbie like me. Great job bro! It would help a lot of people mostly the first timers in flashing custom roms... Keep it up!
