Theese are the factory image.
OTAs zips URLs are taken by users and posted here, but they aren't "officially visible" on the Google site.

That's the easier way. You can take those images, flash them, with the exception of the userdata image, and keep your data.

You would need to know the long string of letters and numbers, and probably change occam to yakju or takju.

My wife's Yakju Galaxy Nexus got the OTA update. Trying to find the info on how to use alogcat to get the info.
Edit: It says it is already downloaded and i need to restart to install. not sure that alogcat is going to help me. Doesn't seem to be a way to cancel it. Going to turn off phone and see if it will work that way.

Lol, turning off the phone will clear the url in the log. Hook it up before updating and search for the URL with catlog.

Not sure what you mean. It says the update is already downloaded, touch to install. There isn't a way to cancel. Please explain in more detail what I can do to get link.

You need adb installed, then connect the phone and type adb logcat > logcat.txt , it should contain the url somewhere.

Not unless someone leaks it. People were warned.

Wrong, the only warning was that if you used the leaked 2.3 you couldn't root with some AlphaRevX guys root method when he released it. Not that I couldn't update to the OTA 2.3 release...

Actually if you look through the threads here and on other forums you'll see that not getting the OTA because it looks for a specific version to upgrade was discussed.

well, is there any way to downgrade back to 2.2?
yeah not to be A ****,
but they def. threw the " may not recieve ota " update no the androidpolice site AFTER as in an edit once i had already downloaded and installed the file,
which is pretty f'in shady. I was on the site as it was posted, the warning was not there at first. or i'm blind as hell.
but i took matters into my own hands to get off of .3.

Yes, if I have too many items in the notification bar, instead of showing the arrow with the plus symbol to inform me that I have more notifications than can fit on the screen, they just show 3 and the rest are off the screen and I don't know I have text messages until I pull down the notification bar. Also, the applications keep saying they have a different amount of data used and it says I can move anything to the sd card, even system apps. Impossible!

If you search online for the leaked 2.3 update for Droid Incredible 2 then you can find it but now they're saying you can't update to the official OTA release so don't do it just wait for the OTA. I'm sure those bugs are fixed.

Yakju 4.3 OTA link

My wife's phone got the OTA update. It already downloaded so I just had the file name, showing it is in cache:

But based on other OTA updates for Yakju it appears that I can put the normal first part of the url in front of it, so download link is: http://android.clients.google.com/packages/ota/google_maguro/6c7ff815e7762f651ad6f8c74e5cb281093f1e0b.signed-yakju-JWR66V-from-JDQ39.6c7ff815.zip

Thank you!
Have you problem with the new SuperSU?
I have read this: "Be careful with that version of SuperSU. It is not yet stable (on the N4 at least). There is an issue where for some reason (and we haven't figured it out yet), you lose root, and the daemonsu process starts eating up ~70%+ of your CPU time. Battery dies pretty quick. "

I've had already CWM installed, I'm assuming you also have it:

2.- backup
3.- flash OTA zip
4.- flash superSU

I just did this myself - stock 4.2.2 and stock bootloader.
Adb sideload worked fine and I didn't lose any data.
Only strange thing was my live wallpaper was uninstalled, but everything else seems ok, and I just reinstalled the wallpaper from the Play store.

Have not messed with anything besides rooting the phone, I had franco kernel but went back to the stock kernel to try the update.
Hello again.
I have found a possible solution.
Flashing all over again, no root, then adb sideloading the OTA.
It works fine.
Probably the SuperSU binary was messing up the patch signature.
Does this mean that even if I wait for the update to come thru my phone automatically it won't happen because I have root?

To elaborate (and make it easier to find in TiBu), that's com.motorola.ccc.ota, or "MotorolaOTA 1.0".
I'm freezing, too, as it'd be easier to RSD back to stock than to manually put it back together if I wanted to update (in other words, I'm lazy).
I am curious, though, on what exactly the update changes/fixes. D'oh, I missed coronado's post.

I have messaging issues here and there... Wife sends a message phone tells me I have a message yet I can't read it and the notification won't go away till I get and read another message... I really just thought it was from all the stuff I've done.. I really need a clean flash... Or I just never get the message notification or message at all no biggie tho

Lollipop Firmware Download?

Hi,
I'm new to posting, but have read the forums for years. I just got the Note 4 SM-N910A and was wondering if there is anyway to download the Lollipop Firmware since my phone says that 4.4.4 is currently up to date?
Thanks!
Just foward a day in the phone date
I would also like to have someone rip the OTA so I can flash it in recovery, since I have an AT&T Note 4 but I'm using it in Canada. Thus, stupid AT&T update checker won't let me update.

I've tried. I've gone all the way up to Saturday and the phone still says KitKat is the current up to date software.
Well as far as I know, there isn't any official update that is available to download. Until then, you can either restart or reset your phone. Either way, you gotta wait.

What are you talking about? The official update IS out, and many people are receiving it.

Exactly, haha. I just really want to get this on my phone, but it won't let me..
I just Disabled my OTA no update for me! 4.4.4 root > 5.0.1
I know we can downgrade and all with Odin but it's not the NK3 software it's the original NIE
Plus downgrading means factory resetting phone... which redownload all app, contacts and sign in to all app again, putting all setting back... all takes alot time

I received the update for my AT&T Note 4 today so what I'm saying is to wait. I haven't seen any sites to download the official update manually. And from wishful thinking and other devices in the past, I've played the reset game (which worked 3 out of 5 times) and I received the update needed.

So, are you saying that if I reset the phone, the update may or may not push through?
Yep. But it's up to you.

Well, then you either don't know much or AT&T made a HUGE mistake when they sent me this less than an hour ago...!

Ok let me make myself clear. YES The OTA IS GOING AROUND FOR DOWNLOAD, but if you ever did updates on a device, sometimes there are websites that can provide the update manually. Sites like Sammobile.com, provide updates so be downloaded so you don't have to wait for the OTA.

Since when was 4.4.4 root concretely promised in the first place?
So, I've tried the moving the dates up and everything, I still have not gotten the chance to update my Note 4 to Lollipop. Could it be that my carrier is actually Cricket, or should that not matter?

No, there is no link to ODIN files and I don't think ever will be. Unless someone will leak.
Also you can't update thru OTA if you not connected to AT&T network or you out of USA
