Thank you all for this great community for always being helpful and i want to thank our awesome devs, and especially boype, anarkia, grarak and bigBrother for creating my favorite roms and kernels. See you someday over Nexus 4 forum

Enjoy your new phone. Hope it serves u as the GN did

Thread closed, if every user made a farewell thread when they left, the forums would be overrun with essentially useless and off topic threads.

[DISCUSSION] PKMN rom discussion thread. Keep all your ETA's,Questions, chat here

Here you go guys. Nothing but pure non related questions/posts happening in the development thread and over the last week over 3 mods(at all levels) had to clear up posts.
So to avoid any issues and having members getting infractions and bans keep all your chit chat here.
I will let this thread update on it's own since we are a big community and enjoy J4n's rom so let us enjoy and discuss here about the goodies that J4n and team bring.
Oh and any flaming or posts that are deemed abusive or out of content will be reported and closure of this thread.
Enjoy
ffs - the official thread is stupid. pages upon pages of crap. And people commenting about crap. Nothing development related and a huge waste of time. Glad this thread has been created for nothing crappy posts like the one I am writing. Long may it continue.

that is the whole point of this one mate..to keep all the crap here and leave that one clear of stupid posts and having mods to clear it up all the time..
not fair on J4n and team and not fair on mods either to have to clear up all the time..and plus i doubt if people want to get banned even if they think there posts are innocent
It's nice to a general discussion added sorry about my little rant on the thread, i was gonna open one but I'm a newbie to the forums.
It would be nice to see android 4.0.4 incorporated into pkmn Rom I've heard that it fixes a lot of bugs ppl have had with HTC one x

great idea
now we still waiting italy to win and the amazing rom,,, lol
It appears that the mods have had enough they closed the official thread and said one new Rom available then it will either reopen or a new thread made

Although I have not tried the rom, I will now because of the hype created.
Let's see if the new release is worth the hype it generated.
There is no need anymore for this thread. Thanks to the OP for the good intention. The main thread has been closed due to a new release coming up. Please wait for the thread to be reopened or a new thread to be created. You will be able to ask and discuss everything there.
Have fun.

[Q] Samsung Galaxy S3 Tmobile best Touchwiz Rom

Hello I was wondering what a good and stable Jelly Bean ROM with Touchwiz would be on T-Mobile? I need it because of the tethering app so I was just wondering what a good Touchwiz ROM would be that is stable.
Thank You!
While I am not sure about the tethering (as I personally do not use it), I have had great experiences with the WICKED rom. It is currently sitting at version 6 but I have had 4 for some time now with no issues. The dev seems to maintain a close eye on the thread and seems very active so I feel comfortable with his work. I may make the jump to 6 but am considering holding off until multi-window is added. Good luck.
Seriously???
Search the forums... every thread that has been opened asking this question has been closed. Search the dev section... read op's and feature lists... try them for yourself. Only u know what works best for u.

You can check out the SGH-T999 Galaxy S III Resource Bible for info about the ROMs. mt3g has spent a lot of time and effort putting it together to hopefully quash these type of threads from popping up.
I suggest you take a gander at it and then find one you like, read the OP, then read the last 10 pages or so for known bugs. If that is your brand of vodka, then you can read the thread from the beginning and probably solve any and all issues from there.
Thread Closed and moved to Q&A as this does not belong in General

It's probably been asked before but....

So, I got a Verizon GNex (toro) today and for some reason I feel like I walked into a spider web and I have no clue what to do with it. I'm wanting to definitely get it off of stock and on to CM 10.1... can anyone direct me with a simple post on where to go for a nice stable build of CM10.1 that will get me all the great JB greatness of 4.2.x? (Sorry for the noobish post but I think after an hour of looking I'm more confused as where to start than where I began!)
Not really a problem lol, welcome to the forums! CM10.1 is not in "stable" stages yet, but the nightlies for the galaxy nexus devices are fully functional. Here's where you can find them: http://get.cm/?device=toro
Again, welcome and maybe if you take a peak in the development forums for the toro you'll find something you like more. Just don't start threads in there with questions, lol.

A quick note (no pun intended) to developers...

I know this probably should be on General, but I wanted to make sure developers saw it. A BIG THANK YOU to all you guys who bust your butts and neglect your home life to make all of our phones better. I have noticed that the Note 2 ROMs have really started to explode over the last couple weeks and wanted to let you guys know that it is very much appreciated by us all!
Mods, feel free to move if need be, but I feel it's in the right place

First you knew this thread did not belong in the Development Section and yet you still did it...
I understand your wanting to thank the Developers, but that is why they have Thanks buttons/donation buttons.
And your feelings that this thread belong in the Development section, I feel you need to read the Forum Rules on posting and showing your thanks.
Thank You, Thread Closed and Moved.

Why this forum is so messy?

It is very hard to find anything here. For example in SGS2 forum there are sections:
Galaxy S II General
Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting
Galaxy S II Accessories
Galaxy S II Original Android Development
Galaxy S II Android Development
It could be much easier to find anything if there will be sections:
User Guides / How to
Developer Guides / How to
Q&A
Accesories
CustomROMs
MODs
Themes
Thanks for the recommendation, you can also post suggestions here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1987254
Everyone will have their own idea about what constitutes "messy" and what would work best, ultimately we have to decide based on the experience of the users and staff and developers and come up with a workable system that evolves over time.
I can see some merit in your suggestion, but realize that for some users the current system would be more agreeable.
Be that as it may, you can always make suggestions to the site in the thread I linked
Thanks for reply. I will write a post there.
No problem,
and keep in mind that just because your personal idea is not adopted, it is still taken into consideration and may be phased into the current system in some fashion, so don't get discouraged or feel ignored if the things you suggest are not necessarily put into action.

It doesnt help that a lot of people make new threads for a lot of the same things too
It would be great if phones had section manufacturer wise rather than have a huge photo for each phone.
For anything I need to urgently search I just search using Google. That throws the best result.

@op - bro it takes time to get used to
U seem to b new here
Categorisation has been done perfectly
Just spend more time and u will b used to it
And u missed "apps" in ur idea

I know that I missed it. It was only schema. I am here 1 year. Now I wanted to modify my ROM by myself and I found it pretty hard to find threads I saw earlier.
The forum supports a $hit ton of phones, can be bit hard to keep organized. The search feature shall be your friend...
