MMB for me AOSP is faster and smoother than AOSP Maclaw, but I will compare two versions of the MIUIv4

[Q] Time to choose a good ROM

Hi there,
I've been checking out some ROMs for GIO and I want some advice from you.
I was looking for a stable bug-free good-looking lightweight ROM, preferably 2.3.6 and not 4.0.4 ICS. Can you give me some advice on that?
Thanks in advance
Regards

There is no bug-free rom. Every has something...
But maybe CM7? It's up to you which version is good to use

Thanks for the tip mate
Give a try to Adrenaline too.
If you don't care about CM tweaks, it is a very interesting ROM.
I've moved from Phiexz CM7.2 to that one and it is as stable (maybe more) and way more smooth.
Available ICS theme also gives a nice visual improvement over stock GB.
i personally find spaceless v4.1 the best, after trying cm7 which was laggy when lots of widgets were in use and since its based on adrenaline with a lot of visual and performance tweaks, its great
I use enchanced236. Very good rom. No random reboots, freezes. I fully recommend it to you. Try and be surprised

[Q] Can anyone suggest the best kernel for Xperia S with CM9.1?

I'd say the one that came with it, stick with that one :good:
The other kernels are not stables. Stay with the "stock" CM kernel.
This is the best.

And what about Nova Kernel?

The Nova kernel is for JB roms. Cm9.1 is ICS. I tried the first version of the kernel when released as it supposedly supported CM9 but didn't boot.
Stock kernel is great. I got 3hrs of screen on time streaming hd video from YouTube yesterday.

Trying to decide which rom is proper to my Defy+, need some help

Hi all,
I got confused from all of the ROMs selection.
I need it to support Multi language (RTL), to be stable and bug free, fast and good battery. Is there any 4+ ROM that include it all ?
For now I flashed the latest CM9 build (Epsylon3) from here -
http://defy.wdscript.fr/defyplus-cm9/
But I can see that CM9 based ROMs is getting less and less popular...
I don't know which to choose from MIUI (WIUI), CM7.2, CM9 and CM10.
Please help me from your experience.
Thank you :good:
Try xperia d one its btr ROM of any other except quarx build cm10
