There are guys on here from the US like droidit, and they have the international tegra so I guess it must work fine. Maybe pm him.

The International HOX is fully quad-band that supports ALL the same frequencies as the OneXL (AT&T OneX) EXCEPT the LTE bands.
It will work without issue anywhere in the US.

You should be good. I went to the UK and Singapore with an unlocked Nexus One and it worked great. Just got my unlock code for my T989 as I have a trip to Sweden in 2 weeks. I used Giff-Gaff in the UK and Starhub in Singapore. Study the carriers frequencies before you go and buy a pre-paid sim and you will be good to go.

This phone is not pentaband which means it isn't guaranteed to work on 3g for all carriers. It does have 4 of all 5 bands, the only one you're missing is 900mhz so depending on where in Europe you're going you'll have 3g. You'll have to check the specific carrier you plan on using and as long as they support one of the bands, you'll be fine. (meaning they don't only use the 900 bands for 3g)
This will help. Still trying to find the site I used that told the carriers frequencies.

I have a friend who was looking to send me their HTC One X from a Australian carrier and i was wondering would it work in the US on ATT 3G/4G

It will work as long as it's unlocked.
Optus branded units are network unlocked, so no issues. I've heard a few reports where the optus apps don't kick in if it's never activated on the optus network, so you might not even see the worst of the spam on there.
M.
Yes it will work on AT&T. I just picked mine up today from Optus. Fully unlocked out of the box and running on Telstra (850mhz like AT&T) with no Optus bloatware.

Is the International HTC One X (tegra 3) compatible with the US T-Mobile Voice and 3G bands?
Can anyone vouch on this?

Yes on voice and texting. No on 3g. Only device that works is one s and maybe att one x with unlock but I think additional things are needed like att note to get data working

thanks for the info. ill try over there at AT&T Forum
I am sorry about the noob question, but I was wondering if the International One X would work with my AT&T SIM card?
Thank you,
-Yousuf Soliman
Yes with no limitations other then that the international one had no lte but besides that it will work ok just fine on att. Not sure about t mobile USA.

The Virgin Mobile HTC One V is CDMA, not GSM and doesn't take a sim card. You will not be able to use it on a GSM network. Sorry.
