Auto upload certain folders to personal server - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4

How would I go about doing this? I would like to sync folders of my choosing to my personal NAS server at home.

Does your personal server support SMB? If so, try Foldersync in the Play Store.

Remote desktop app

Hey guys,
Any suggestions or ideas on any remote desktop app or termimal server app ?

Pocket Cloud if you want to hide what you are doing on the remote PC. No extra software required, just Remote Desktop turned on. Unpaid version is limited to 1 PC.
TeamViewer if you want what you are doing on the remote PC to be seen. Requires an ap to be running on PC in the background though. Free to use but you will get an annoying pop up message when exiting the program unless you connect using actual IP addresses.

Jump Desktop is the most amazing RDP program I've used on android. They have a free version which will work for most but I bought it just so it syncs after every flash plus to support the devs. Check it out.

I recommend you get a VPN subscription. I use a VPN to connect to Netflix to make it think I am in the USA in order to access all the videos there. Works perfectly.
It's not free but worth every penny to me. I recommend www.privatvpn.se
Thanks man,its working.i got a free vpn app from google play and it work

You can get some from the Play Store, Amazon, Netflix and Hulu. Also if you have ROKU, I believe there is an app for that too. Yes those are all paid, but it is a place to start. Also, most networks (at least in the US) have either an app or way to view shows on/from them.
I do hope that you are not asking about torrent sites and how to use them. If you are, then Google is your friend and please do not post such on XDA.
I'm doing Netflix hulu and the occasional red box instead of cable right now, saving a bloody fortune streaming media to my smart tv from my note

Xbmc then add navix plug in and you will get all tv series, movies etc.
I'm looking for apps. .. Nothing I need to buy hardware for. .. I live in Canada so Hulo etc don't work well here. Thanks.

So you want completely free, "latest" releases and current tv series all through an app.... Let me know if you find anything because I've stuck my head in that hole and there's no turtle to be found.

There should be a decent streaming video app somewhere

I haven't heard of any that are free... Why wouldn't Netflix work well in Canada, the Internet is the Internet no matter where you are.

Plex : http://plexapp.com/
Host your own videos on your HomePC, play on virtually every device type, share with your friends.
The only thing you pay for is 5:00 for the Android client and possibly the iPhone client, but it is an iPhone... who cares about those
Have you tried Crackle?

Mac + Note 2

I have a Mac and getting the music to be organized on my Note 2 is annoying. Is there a simple way like how iTunes is for the iPhone?
Yeah it's called Google play music app. You can just upload your music there and it'll be organized like you want... and save memory on your device for other things..
Don't use ifunes nor Crapple anything, sorry:banghead:

You might just want to Google it. But check here:

The music manger lets you upload what you want then it'll all be in your Google play music account...

Select Exchange folders to sync?

I have been using note 2 and it had an option in the exchange client where you can select folders to sync, how can we find this option in the new exchange client in note 3?
