Before rooting your device backup is a must.
Backup your contacts messages and the installed apps .
You can use super backup for that.

Hello Im new to Note 2 need help with multitask

Hello i bought my note 2 about a week ago and i saw some vids where they show all the apps in multitask window i know you need to root.. i rooted my galaxy s1 a few years ago.. i just want to know which root to do and what i have to do after the root.. i have the international version.

Simplest way to root is to use exynos exploit apk. ..search for it
But I prefer root with cwm. ..cwm helps in making backup.....
Go to dr.ketan s thread in Android original development to read about root
Use legend 95 mod for all apps in multi Window

U will get everythng in dr ketans thread ..... i would suggest u to root via auto root plus cwm method .....which will do all ur work ........install multiwindow mod from dev section .....or install omega ...very good rom with all mods present

You will have to root with cwm how else will you flash a mod ?

1.You can use xposed framework for multi Windows. ..only root needed. .no need for cwm
2. You can use mobile Odin for flashing mods... again no need for cwm
There are always more ways. ..beauty of Android and xda... deadly combination
What I meant when I said that was rooting with exynos exploit is easy. .then you can flash cwm..... but using chenglu's root+cwm technique as a single step is what I prefer. Also because it doesn't break your camera

Rooting the one x

I am now on jb 4.1.1 stock ROM , I want to root the phone to use the game boost app , I will still use stock ROM , kernel and recovery .
What will happen if there is a new update let's say 4.1.2 , what will have to do to update , by the phone it self or by flashing the update package , I think after I update I will lost the root and will have to reroot ??
I have no idea how HTC devices work ( root process ) since I came for Samsung which were very simple , so answer if you know anything

anyways i knw how to fix it, by Flashing the stock rom via ODIN. But I JUST CANT! Because.. I Live In Lebanon And There Is NO Firmware For Note 2 GT-N7100 On Sammobile.com
I Know your gonna say i CAN Flash other country's firmwares but I Heard That I Need To Change CSC Using An App From Play Store. BUT THE PHONE IS UNUSABLEE!!!!!
Much Help Would Be Appreciated

IF u have Samsung Galaxy S III (Intl)- i9300,here's the link http://get.cm/get/eXA,before flashing make sure u have kitkat compatible recovery and the device is rooted,u probably should know that rooting voids warranty.
