Hello,
I am using the latest nighlty build for the Sprint Galaxy Note 2 and for some reason data traffic doesn't work.
I can see the device recognizes LTE/3g/1x traffic in the area because the icon changes but I can never successfully connect (data-wise) to anything.
When I surf the web on the device I get ("The Requested URL was not found on this server").
It is important to note that Voice and Text work 100%, it is just the data that is a problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Not connecting to LTE is a known issue for some CM10.1 roms.

Are you sure the APN settings are correct?
By the way, the AOKP releases (not milestones) are considered nightlies, not betas.
Yes they are it happens a few its not the msg not sending its the text is not entering its nothing to do apns.

Incorrect. The B in say B39 means build, not beta. All AOKP releases so far except the Milestones are considered and treated as nightly builds.
Check this link, and scroll down a bit: http://aokp.co/index.php/releases/_/build-38-r24
Remember: builds are considered "nightlies"!

Regarding your issue: I have had it before, but I cannot remember what ROM I ran and how I fixed the issue, I'm afraid.
The only way to fix it is to disable the lock screen. I've tried sending messages to some of the developers but apparently they just don't care about the issue. But with all the badass features of AOKP I deal with the issue
Happens on AOKP, doesn't happen on CM9 or Gummy.

Same its fine that the only reason im on cm9

This happens when you let the phone lock while you are in a specific message thread. Just don't do this and you won't have the issue.
But it still should be fixed dont you agree

I'm not saying it shouldn't, but that is the workaround.
I'm pretty sure this issue has been addressed several times. A simple google search would have pulled up thread after thread of the same thing. Seems to be more than just on AOKP. I for one ran into this problem running stock. Seems to be a case by case situation. Most likely an android bug that has yet to be squashed.

I vouch for this, only time it happens to me. And every issue should be fixed, but unless you're willing to donate your time to fix it, you shouldn't complain about something so trivial?

I always exit out of the SMS app when not using it, instead of locking my phone with the SMS app running.
Has anyone got this to work?
I uninstalled Wifi tether and used the built in hotspot. Worked fine after a reboot.

The built-in tethering works fine for me. I guess since Verizon hasn't touched this ROM the hotspot works as Google intended.

You have to sign up for hot spot to be able to use it. If you haven't added this to plan, it won't work. Therefore, its free.

I have tried using the built in hotspot, and my iPod seems to connect to it (puts a check mark), but it never gets the signal bars in the status bar, and doesn't actually gets internet.
I have also tried the newest version of wifi tether, beta 14 from their website, but it won't even show up as a network using that.
Does anyone know of a way to get wifi tether to work on jelly bean?
Sent from my Verizon Galaxy Nexus running Jelly Bean via Xparent Cyan Tapatalk 2
The built in Wi-Fi hotspot works well for me. JB v3 with Franco 217. 4G on with WPA2 security to Windows 7 on my MacBook. All sorts of things running unintended software, and it all works like a charm. =)
Edit: VZW Galaxy Nexus
Edit2: I don't pay for tethering, but it shouldn't matter, as I'm data-capped either way.

Hmm, maybe it's an issue with the rom I am on, or the kernel it has. I am running on vanir v5, and it has a 3.0.31 popcorn kernel.

Hey guys.
The first Official cm10 nightly has been pushed
Get it here : http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?device=maguro

Have you tried it yet? What do you think? What differences can we expect?
what are the chances toro gets a nightly tonight??
I've downloaded it, about to flash just waiting on my titanium backup to finish.
I got my gapps from goo-inside.me/gapps, hope it is the correct one
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Also waiting for news on this.. Downloading as we speak...
I got stuck on 92% trying to download from rom manager. How are you guys downloading this?
I downloaded and flashed this nightly along with 7/26 Gapps from Goo.Im's app for JB. Everything working perfectly. Only thing I came across is that I flashed Franco's kernel, yet it shows Kernel Version as Unavailable in the About Phone section. Weird, but not noticing any problems.
I noticed on the splash/Boot logo it says cm9 huh?

Sorry, sort of fat fingered some unwanted characters in, edited the link, should work now.
I'm all up and running all going good, no dramas so far.
I've noticed that the option of having the torch on the notification widgets is greyed out, and the boot animation is fairly low framerate while booting. that's about all I've noticed though, so far so good. looking forward to flashing nightlies and seeing how this progresses

Hey guys this is my first post! Anyways I rooted my galaxy s4 T-Mobile and flash the task 650 ROM. Yesterday my phones internet connection stopped working. I flashed back to touch wiz and I was surprised to find I had 4g LTE!! I went on the AOKP website and flashed the latest nightly ROM (not by task 650) and my data worked again but it only shows 4g and its only 1 bar. Basically I'm asking if anyone has signal issues with this ROM? Also when I run the speedtest.net app on touch wiz I get better score then what I get on aokp
Did you check that you have LTE APN selected?

Man this thing is really close, and i can confirm that data wasn't working for me, although i can get signal bars but no luck when trying to browse web, etc on 3g. With this being said i did get a phone call or two and no issue there, wifi works and its money. Flashed back to MIUI 3.4.5 (4.1.2) and I'm gonna dirty flash yours just to see if that helps my man. Either way ill report back and thanks for ur efforts.

3g not working here either. otherwise it boots, looks great. only thing that really bothers me besides the no data is the double signal bars in the status bar.
OK I'm uploading a mother build now. I'm hoping it was just a build prop line that I forgot to add for data. I'll post the new build in the op in like 15 minutes and let me known if data works then.
