Hi All
After successfully rooting I though I would go the next stage and install CWM , in my haste I must of done something wrong and after resetting the phone it wont turn on. I have tried a factory reset, wont turn on, tried pulling battery etc no luck. When I plug it into the computer I get a searching for QHSUSB_DOWN driver which never succeeds and running the LG update utility just says phone not connected...ANY help would be sincerely appreciated...!!!
Can you get into download mode by pulling the battery out, then put it back, press and hold volume up button and press power button.
If download mode works, then follow the unbricking solution.
Thanks for the quick response and nope no luck!

You can't get into download mode like that (just tried it to verify). You have to power off the device, hold volume up then plug in usb to get into download mode.
either way have had no luck, seems it is going back to warranty....

Strange thing I don't even need hold the power button, just hold vol up after battery is in and press once power button...go figure, this is one f.up phone...
Everytime I hold Vol + & Home & Power it takes me to the download mode screen without any options.....stays there for just a second and then it gives me a triangle with a exclamation mark with a droid with x-crossed eyes and goes into stock recovery.
What exactly is going on and how can it be fixed?
download mode is volume - home and power

Dude, try holding volume down plus home button (if it has one) for 30 sec. If this doesn't work try holding volume up and home button (only if it has one).

no it doesn't have a home button , and nothing will stop it , what i noticed tho that if i hold vol down and the power button the next time the logo will disappear way faster but only once each hold and ill get a delay of 2 seconds before that logo appearing again and the phone rebooting , its been literally 62 hours since it started doing this , it started with a battery fully charged meaning a 5000ma , about that delay i tried using it but nothing worked , i tried clicking vol up and power button which is supposed to put the phone in recovery mode but nothing happens , i went as far as spamming random buttons to holding them for more than a minute , nothing stops it

Then you hard bricked your device, sorry to tell you that. Take it to a service, and see if they can do anything to it, but you most surely bricked the hell out of your device, up to the point of no return.

If you want to boot into download mode try this:
When you see Samsung logo immediately press volume up + down and while holding connect the phone to PC using Type-C.
A warning screen will appear now press Volume Up button to boot into Download mode.

My samsung M30S was stuck at boot screen for no reason and tried everything until I came upon your post and did as described. I was able to get into safe mode and reboot the phone. Thanks very much.

Download mode not open for me :crying: :crying: :crying:
If you are stuck on Samsung Logo, connect to PC and press Vol Down + Power for 7 seconds. It will go to charge mode. Disconnect from PC and it will power off automatically. After that press Volume Up + Down and connect to PC while holding and you will enter download mode. It will ask for confirmation.
Useful. Works

Thank you for this post. I did this and my phone booted to TWRP. (I was flashing TWRP when I encountered the bootloop)
After booting to TWRP, I did an advanced wipe (I left System unchecked). After the wipe, the phone booted normally.

Cool. TWRP for Android 10 came for M305F, and I am on GSI now.
Hey People,
maybe someone of you can help me.
I made a normal Update of my Phone 5 days ago after the Update my Phone went off and now it shows a Blue Screen with the Information that something went wrong while the Update.
I tried to repair it with the Smart Switch Pc Software but it don't worked.
I gave it to the store where i bought it but they want that i pay for the fix. Honestly i didn't tried to root it because i needed it for work.
Had someone that issue and can help me how i can fix that by myself?
Kind Regards
Saint
yes you probably can fix it easy
connect your phone to a pc with the usb cable
hold vol- and power to force the phone to reboot.
when the phone shut down, rapidly hold vol+ and vol- .the phone should enter download mode
use odin software to upload the latest firmware of your phone
download mode

That's because only the first part is needed. Just turn off your phone normally and then turn it on simultaneously pressing Volume Down and Power.
It finally worked after....

Thanks for your reply. I did as you suggested but that gave me a normal boot. I tried as someone else suggested, pressing power+UP volume and that did finally get me to recovery mode! Played around with that for half hour
Thanks again! Now if only can get the transfer working in OTG!!!

Hey that worked for me Thank you
Is there any other way such as some adb command to get the phone into download mode? Everytime and everyway many variations I have tried and after it 5 second pauses on the unlocked bootloader warning it will not go into download mode, it goes into charging mode.
Any ideas?
There is an Easy fix for that
I got the exact same problem, too and i found sth out: press and hold power+volume-down and let the phone die, but still dont let the buttons go, u wait for it to boot (buttons pressed), and ull get in download mode, there u can release the buttons
