If you flashed a international gs3 rom on your phone you're hard bricked. It will need to be sent to a jtag service

You can try to get a USB Jig which will put your phone into Download mode immediately. They're like $2 so there's no harm in trying. If that doesnt work, proceed with finding a way to JTAG.
Thank you for the guide on how to unbrick.
I tried following the direction of going into download mode, then odin, but doesn't work.
I am currently using the SD card method and the phone loads up that way, but without the sd card it won't boot up in any mode.
Before all this, I had the original stock, then tried to flash this:
http://joyofandroid.com/install-andr...ung-galaxy-s3/
The android revolution. I'm guessing this was only for the international version, but I wasn't verifying that it wasn't for a at&t i747 phone.
Currently, the only way I can enter twrp recovery or download mode is by going into the main screen, accessing the app Root Rashr - Flash tool, go into the app, and pick either recovery or bootloader.
I tried going into recovery, format and restore the original, but when I remove the sd card, it wouldn't start up. I can't start the phone without the sd card in the phone.
Thank you for reading and for any help!

I initially flashed the CM10 JB stable ROM successfully. The only problem I had was that I was unable to transfer files via USB to my computer, so I tried using the toolkit to flash the stock rom, but when it was flashing I got an error message that my phone disconnected.
When I turn my phone on I can only get into download mode. If i just press the power button, I receive a black screen.
I have tried using this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1771687 to flash the stock ROM using ODIN but the phone freezes at the Samsung logo screen after the T-Mobile "4G Android" screen.
Any help is truly appreciated

can you get into recovery mode? if you can, try installing a rom from an external micro sd card (that you know previously worked)

If you got this far, then you need to do a factory reset.

you cant. You need to boot into recovery. Trust me you can get in it, might take a few tries. Try to boot into recovery without the usb cable plugged in.With the phone completely off, and unplugged do the vol-up, home +power combo til it flashes that first screen, it can be a ***** but youll get in
Try turning the device off, remove the battery and leave it there for 60 secs. Make sure the phone is unplug from computer and the hit vol up, home, power until the phone vibrate then release. This should get the phone into the stock recovery.

I really do not think I will be able to get in. I have tried it so many times and even previously could only get into CWM recovery through the app on my phone to boot into recovery. I could never actually get in holding the vol-up+home+power.
Is it possible to flash CWM recovery through ODIN and download mode?
I'm not sure why this stock rom is freezing after I flash it through odin.

i would suggest trying a different cable and if ur gonna use odin again, wipe everything (especially /system!) in recovery before booting into download mode for the odin flash. would also reccomend tryin the legit stock rom in odin (unrooted) if its still freezing on you.
Flash with Odin again, then after it is successfully completed power down phone you have to hold vol up home and power until you see some blue text appear in the top left corner then factory reset from recovery

Yea getting into recovery is tricky if you don't hold the buttons long enough (let go too soon). These guys really gave you great advice.

If you couldn't get into CWM recovery before you screwed the rom then you just aren't doing it right.with phone off, hold up and home, then hold powered button for like 3 sec then let go of only power... but i think you are right the download mode skips the Samsung logo.the recovery puts up Samsung logo before booting recovery. Why can't you Odin a recovery partition ?

That they have, I took the battery out and let it sit for a little and tried it to get into recovery and it worked! I'm was able to boot up regularly after and I truly thank you all for the help because I was having a heart attack.
Ok so I rooted by using Odin and all was good. I downloaded rom manager and proceeded to install clockwork recovery all was still good. But then I was dumb and tried flashing a cyanogen mod nightly build. I didn't want to install it that moment, i was downloading for later use. Well it installed anyway and with only the davlik cache clear checked. So now when I turn on the phone it goes to Samsung screen and then the custom loading screen for cyanogen mod which just circles endlessly. I cannot get it to boot into download or recovery mode by holding all the buttons. I have pulled the battery and even the sim card. I also let the boot screen run until it drained the battery. How f'd am I? Will a jig work?i cant just exchange it because this dumb logo spinning will give me away. I am a dumb noob and I hate myself.
Are you able to get into the Samsung download mode so you can re-flash stock firmware in odin?
Oops, missed that part in your post. Are you actually holding all the buttons? Because you only need vol up + home + power for download mode.

Yea sorry that's what I meant just the three but I've tried both combinations for download or recovery numerous times now
I've read multiple thrasds like this and I believe since you can see your Samsung logo you're fine...
There are other ways to get into download mode by pulling out battery and plunging in usb cable and pressing buttons but on my phone I can't find instructions...
Do a search.. You should be fine though. I wouldn't worry.. Samsung logo means ur good.. I think..

Flashing a rom without wiping will not cause any harms to the recovery mode or download mode. You must have messed something else with rom manager.
Buy a jigg and see if it can get you into download mode

Not that he messed something up with ROM manager, its just garbage....on this phone anyway. For future reference only use it to get a recovery, don't use it to download or flash rom's. Do that part manually.
As suggested get a jig and try to get into download mode and flash with Odin back to stock. They are like six bucks on eBay and work on pretty much any Samsung phone, I just ordered one tonight to have just in case.
Its fine and you probably dont need a jig, you need to install adb and use it to reboot to recovery or bootloader hopefully you read to make a nandroid first if not flash a stock image with odin. Flashing a rom cannot brick the phone recovery is still there and in order to get to the logo screen bootloader has to be there too. Try the toolkit in the dev section its stickied and i think it has adb and it will install the drivers you need. Not to be rude but if you don't know what you are doing its best not to mess with it.
If you get adb type adb reboot bootloader in your command prompt to get to bootloader to use odin.
ATT S3 stuck at the Samsung galaxy 3 logo, i tried to use Odin and flash but it wont work (stuck at system) and I cant access my recovery mode. I try to go into recovery mode but it just reboot and goes back to the logo.
The only thing I can access is DL to try to flash it through Odin but It just not working , I tried the original update from samsung and the jelly bean and it keep getting stuck in the loading system.
please advice , I am desperate.
Are you trying to flash back to stock?
I went through this the other day. Boot into the stock recovery and do a factory reset. Wipe User Data/Factory Reset I believe is the actual option.
Should boot fine after that.
*nevermind... didnt read it properly, obviously wont work if you cant get into recovery... my bad

Have you tried: vol up+home and then adding power? When I do the 3 at the same time, it doesn't seem to always work but that way does. Just a shot in the dark.

Looks like you may be soft bricked. You can always send it off to JTag for repair. This guy on eBay does it for $35 and he has 700+ sales with a 100% satisfaction rating http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=271160547396
If you can get into dl mode you can fix it. And make sure that you are trying to get into recovery the right way. I know in times of frustration getting into recovery can be annoying. ...a few deep breaths wait a little while then try for recovery. If not. .. down load the newest odin, erase and down load New drivers for your phone and attempt odin again, Flash stock rooted.

I am having similar issues i'm able to get into download and keis will begin emergency recovery but both options fail at system.img.ext4
recovery is un available and outs me into connect to keis screen which is download ot keis download.
would any one have a stock recovery of original DLK3 that would be for odin, or a location to download it. keis said if I could get into stock recovery....
thankx
i'm not even stressed yet I went thru this once with my captivate and I got out of that one.
I think that running kies and odin at the same time can disrupt odin. Not 100% on that but I always disabled or removed it first as per something I had read. Also if you have been running anything using ADB on your PC, use the task manager to make sure it is not still running in the processes. It has caused me problems getting a connection to the phone to stick.
Can anyone assist me with the issue of how to get this SGSIII out of boot recovery mode/

Some more details would help me understand better. What I'd love to know is.
1. What is the current state of the phone ?
2. Is it rooted or Are you trying to root ? If so what process.
3. Are you trying to flash a rom or Recovery or what ?
4. Last but not least. What rom and version you currently have on there ?

You didn't specify how you got here .What did you try to do, that left you in this state ? Am I assuming correctly that you somehow managed to wipe system partition and have only the stock recovery ?
If the phone is in Recovery mode, Odin will not work. You will need to reboot the phone into Download mode. To do this, you pull the battery out, volume down, home, and power button at the same time until you see the Samsung logo, and then release. You will see a warning message with bright yellow triangle and will say Downloading. Once that is done, connect to the PC.
Using ODIN, first flash a custom recovery such as TWRP. If you want to go back to stock, this is the time you flash Stock rom instead of the recovery.
If you want custom rom, copy the rom zip to the External SD card and then put that in the phone and flash via Custom Recovery.

Then perhaps you should have asked on that thread for next steps. Anyway, if you are still getting the Qsub message when connecting to pc that means its not out of de-brick yet. I'd suggest following there.
Also please first put the phone in download mode and THEN connect to the PC. Tell me what happens in that case.

Perhaps not Perseus! AS stated........Its out of the brick mode and is now stuck in boot recovery mode! The method to get it into download mode is null, because it will only go into the boot recovery mode when i push those buttons to try and get it there! NOTE: its now in MSM9860 when plugged into the PC.

Please note, the button combo slightly differs for Recovery versus Download mode
Recovery Booting - Power +Home + Volume UP
Download Mode - Power +Home + Volume DOWN
Do you still have the sd setup from the debrick thread? Can you see if you can get back to download mode by booting from that again?
If so, try flashing the Stock firmware again, and if you still end up in the same spot maybe try again, but this time flash CWM or TWRP recovery from Odin, then flash a Rom from recovery.
And I can't remember right off but did you try factory resetting from recovery?

Just to clarify, the boot recovery mode you are referring to, does it have the binary/flash count, system status, etc? Basically what do you see?
It sounds in some ways you are in download mode, but recovery is a very different mode, so just to clear up any confusion.....

My phone is Samsung Galazy Note 2 GT-N7105
Anything that can work to get my phone atleast to work again is appreciated.

If you can't get recovery then flash phils recovery tar version through odin and then flash what you want or restore a backup. If that doesn't work flash stock with odin and start again. Last resort try mskip toolkit from skipsoft.net

If you can't get into recovery mode (power, home and vol up) then I'd try to re-flash the stock rom through kies- not sure what other options you have. Then you can re-root it.
