When I try replacing my current one with this I just get force close. I assume it won't work on ics? Or an I wrong

It does work with ics, I renamed and pushed to system/app. Restarted phone and all set.

Do you have the original note? Model N7000? If so, you are looking in the wronf forum. This forum is for the Note 2.
